Been here a couple times and both were very good. I had a burger and the rib eye. The burger was great and the fries were crispy. The rib eye was cooked well but didn't have a lot of seasoning. The salad that came with it was very fresh and good. Thick ranch dressing. I also had the fried pickles and they are the best I've ever had. Fresh dill in the breading, so good. I love having this cozy place open and serving 3 meals a day. So far, I have had breakfast and lunch. I have eaten there and taken food out. All good experiences. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy for my husband and an omelet for me. The gravy (a southern white gravy as opposed to a sausage gravy) was smooth, not overly thick, and well seasoned. The presentation was particularly nice (biscuit, sausage patty,biscuit, sausage patty, biscuit - smothered in gravy). Good biscuits too. The omelet was tender, chock full of goodies and not overcooked. The only thing that would have made it better, was if I had some Ryan's Authentic Salsa to put on my omelet. That is good stuff - and made in house. Yum. Lunch - BYOB burger was delish. You get to choose your own accoutrements and I went for everything except the cheese and the egg (and I still can't figure out why I didn't get the egg!!). I loved the grilled peppers onions and mushrooms! As good as the burger was - the potato salad was the star. I am so tired of Sysco - out of the tub - type potato salad. This was house made and tasted just like the kind my favorite grandmother made (the one who was a fabulous home cook). So - kudos for this! I took home a BLT for my husband and he is a bacon gourmande - he loves good bacon and plenty of it. Suffice it to say, he was very happy with my choice. Have to get there for dinner. This is almost a date spot - despite the sports on the many TVs. This place wasn't bad. Nothing to write and rave about, like another reviewer wrote...My chicken fried steak was about a half inch think and wasn't pounded out. Don't get me wrong, tender steak, but I should have just ordered it without the breading. Lol. Wasn't seasoned very much either. They either rely on the gravy, which I have mixed feeling about, or they cater to an older crowd? (Which was the case when we were there). The rest of our food wasn't bad either, just seemed "boxed"...The Fries were pretty crispy and good---to say something positive. Side salad was great... Croutons spectacular! Hope they keep this salad the way they served to me. read more

This place is a joke. The owners very clearly have no clue how to run a professional dining room, will scream at you for doing what eachother has told you to do, and will treat you like very poorly because they can't listen to availability. Or eachother for that matter, since one will scream at you for not instantly taking care of tables and the other will scream at you for taking care of those tables instead of getting food The INSTANT it comes up. The owners are also extremely abrasive and hateful and impossible to talk to about anything. The owners daughter is also a server there and she's pretty awful as well. Her new husband I one of the cooks and he chews tobacco in the kitchen while cooking (gross ikr). But the owners and anyone in their family think they're like royalty or something above the rules and HEALTH CODES. I've also seen them mop up a sewage over flow in the bathroom, spill the mop bucket and then "reclean" the floor with the sewage water! Seriously if it weren't for their one good cook and a handful of the wait staff, this place would be a disaster. This was the worst bar food, and possibly some of the worst food, I've ever had. The chicken wings were inedible and apparently that's what they are known for. The food was fine. The impossible burger did not come with a lettuce wrap as stated in the menu. It came on a bun, though had enough lettuce on the side to use as a wrap if desired. I actually really liked the fries. Pre-COVID, I would have said the service was fine...good, even. Colorado has a state ordinance requiring masks, but the staff was not following the law. One server was wearing hers the first half of our visit, but then discarded it. Our server, who I believe was also the bartender, was not wearing a mask at all and coming up very close to customers. There was at least one time when she came up right next to our table and sighed toward us. She was also cackling while making drinks at the bar. I didn't get a picture of her, but I did get one of the server mentioned first. Also, while cleaning products were clearly visible, they were not being used to clean tables between guests. We had dinner in this old-time looking bar and grill in Old Town Palasade, CO. This is a pretty small town, but the 368 Bar and Grill was quite busy...as it should be! My husband had a burger, naturally, but when I asked him how it was, he said "excellent!" It should be noted I read a review of the p,ace to him, with it stating it was the best burger they had ever had. My husband said, "yes, but what's good for one doesn't mean everyone will feel the same." He, quite literally, ate his words! The meat was fresh, cooked perfectly, and the bun was definitely up-to-the-task of holding all it's goodness together. He will most definitely remember this little restaurant for many years to come, and will def return when in the area again! read more

In town this weekend to camp and went into town for lunch. They are doing well with social distancing by closing every other table. The fried pickles were delicious...probably about the best we've had. My cheeseburger was huge and cooked well and the fries were hot and crispy. Lisa, our server, was on it! She was the only server working and she was amazing! We'd like to try some other Palisade restaurants but we will definitely be back here at some point! read more

We were traveling through western Colorado and just happened to come upon this while traveling through a very small town. A wonderful restaurant with terrific burgers and the staff has a can do attitude. I had a bacon cheeseburger with cheddar and asked for medium and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had a cheeseburger that she asked for medium well and it too, was done to perfection! My fussy little seven-year-old had a plate of buttered noodles with Parmesan cheese and the waitress was kind enough to make it part of the Sunday special which was unlimited spaghetti. Katherine was the waitress's name; she and Alyssa the other waitress were very friendly and helpful. We stopped in Palisade to gas up, noticing on our way to California that the gas price posted along the highway for Palisade was quite a bit cheaper than what we paid in Grand Junction--no more gassing up in Junction for me! We also anticipated stopping at some fruit stands in Palisade, which we did. I asked the operator at the stand to recommend a cafe, the type where the server asks, "Can I warm up your coffee for you, honey?" She said the 357 would fit the bill and handed me a hand out menu for it. Burger was a large patty, very tasty, which somewhat surprised me, it is difficult to get large patties to be as tasty as smaller ones, which is why many places will give you two smaller patties instead of one large one. In-and-Out does this with their "double-double" for example. The pickle spear was a first class deli style and the fries were very good as well. I saved a buck or two by getting my gas in Palisade, but the wife-unit spent more than a hundred on fruit and gifts. But the important thing is how much we saved on gas! read more

The clock ticks on. And another group comes in. Orders. Gets their food. By now? I am full blown hangry. No explanation or apology. No, "I'm so sorry, we misplaced your order." No, "I'm sorry, we ran out of bread and had to run to the store." For the love of Pete, we didn't even get a, "I'm sorry, you aren't a local. You get served last.' Nearly AN HOUR later we get our food! Four sandwiches, guys. Seriously. My sandwich was fine. My husbands hamburger was overcooked, the bun burned and blackened. The ruebens were "meh" (the local pizza place served better reubens, as we learned later on our trip). Will not return. Go to Palisade Cafe for a delicious sit-down meal, or Diorio's for a quick slice of pizza or sandwich. This place is ridiculous. read more

Thought we'd try it over here for dinner on our last night in town. I didn't completely regret coming here, but it was close. Right when we sat down there was some old man screaming at the waitress about his food. I think we came in at the tail end of that so I'm not 100% sure what he was screaming about. The waitress went away and the guy's wife started egging him on so he went up to the bar and started screaming again. Made it all very awkward. After about 15 minutes the waitress finally came by and took our drink order and then 10 minutes later came back and took our food order. Didn't take terribly long to get our food. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. The steak was just okay, nothing to write home about. The mashed potatoes just didn't taste right. Absolutely worst service I've ever experienced. Staff was rude and unprofessional. We had a party of 7 and waited about 15 minutes for drinks to arrive. Waitress mumbled everything to our table and didn't notice the fact that our order was still not ready 45 minutes after taking it. Apparently there was a computer mishap and our order never made it to the kitchen. As a former food service employee I am a patient patron but this was ridiculous. Our waitress never stopped to ask us if we needed refills or to check on what was taking our order so long. We watched every table around us get their food and she didn't didnt ever stop long enough for us to make an inquiry. The restrooms are in desperate need of a paint job, a deep clean and air freshener. I haven't written a YELP review ever but this place was one for the record books, yikes! read more

We decided to try 357 Bar and Grill after attending the lavender festival at a park near by. Because of the festival they seemed very busy and the wait staff was visibly frustrated. Completely understandable and in situations like this I fell as s diner extra patience and understanding is warranted. I went in to see about a table but there was no one at the hostess stand and no sign about seating yourself or waiting to be seated. I stood there for about 5 minutes while hurried staff rushed passed me without acknowledgment. When I finally got someone I asked about seating outside and they said "sure, if there are enough chairs". There weren't. 1 section of their long patio was uncovered and HOT which seemed odd and a table that could have seated 6 only had 2 chairs. There was no organization of seating for outside and a group that arrived after us grabbed the table we had wanted. No big deal, another group left just minutes after that but we sill had a hard time finding enough chairs for our party of 6. Service was SLOW (again, understandably so) and the waitress seemed flustered and rushed. Now, the reason for 3 stars, I ordered the grilled chicken dinner which ended up being the smallest chicken breast I'd ever seen, seasoned with their 357 rub and cooked...somehow...but definitely not grilled. It did come with two sides (I got cottage cheese and macaroni and cheese) but to call it a "dinner" was laughable. My 6 year old son ordered the kids burger with cheese which ended up being ONE small slider and french fries. It's a good thing I ordered the macaroni and cheese because he inhaled his food and that too! The other 4 members of our group seemed to be satisfied with their meals. I'd be interested to try them again on a less busy day but given that we live over an hour & a half away I don't know when that opportunity will arise. read more

Except for the part where I was charged $1.25 for a small bowl of lettuce and some tomatoes because I didn't want fries AND when they charged us 60¢ for 5 slices of grilled onions! I literally could have bought my own onion for 60¢! Our waitress was nice but made no attempt to fix the situation. It was more of a "yeah sorry that's the way it is" There was another waitress that refused to smile or even make eye contact with us.
