Both times, as soon as I arrive and check in, two nurses rush me to the back, they are asking questions, one is putting in the IV and the other is checking my blood pressure. My blood pressure was elevated both times. My most recent visit, she also took my bp over my hoodie sleeve and the first thing she says is, "You're going to need to get on meds." What "nurse" isn't aware of how blood pressure work? I just walked blocks, you didn't let me sit, you're talking to me, the cuff isn't on my arm it's on a sweater and you think my readings wouldn't be elevated? Also, how can 1 or 2 readings determine medication? Giving unsolicited medical advice to a stranger whose medical history you know nothing about is condescending. She could've simply said your reading is high, follow up with your doctor. On another note, the clinic is clean, beautiful, comfortable and the receptionist was very friendly. The first time I felt like the IV helped me a lot. This last time I didn't feel any benefits.

Now, I DO have severe cat allergies and found out Lupe has no pets, if it matters. Shannon, one of their massage therapists, has two. So, I could not have been around her due to my cat dander issue. The atmosphere is calming and clean. You must take off your shoes in their front area. I did and they offered me slippers but I just walked in my clean socks on a clean floor. All good. The room was wonderful. My lungs are a bit sensitive to smells, but I wore a mask and I was fine. I got the 70min lymph massage and it walked out of there lighter than I have been in a long time. My lymph systems seems to not like me very much, frustrating. She had my system flowing and going! Lupe said it normally takes her 2 passes but she had to do 3 or more to get my stuck lymphs going. She is a like the RotoRooter of the lymphatic system. LOL We talked about Lipedema and the Lymph system. She is really smart with the Lymph system. Afterwards she brought me followup care instructions, a cup of water, and a tea bag for my lymph to use tomorrow morning. The massage itself was exactly what I had hoped for and maybe a bit more. Did I have a sudden six-pack like other places show on social ads? Ummm, no. And nore did I expect it. Did my legs feel lighter, incredibly so. I will book one for next month too, once my schedule starts to form. They were NOT pushy about it either. I learned a lot in my 30minute session. I realized only licensed facility are able to use this equipment. They use high quality ingredients with a diamond tipped extract device. They even use a smooth tipped extract device over the eyes and lips. Theresa who was tech and RN is very thorough which she will stop to answer questions. Her recommendation for me to get this facial once a month or every 6 weeks. Your skin may be purge a bit after the facial but the glow is so worth it! I will be definitely be back for another facial. Now to the actual massage, first and foremost, lipomassage is not meant to make you lose weight! It's meant to reduce Inflammation of all sorts and boost your healing from inside out. Many people suffer from pain, swelling, lumps etc. This machine works to reduce all sorts of Inflammation. From my experience, I noticed after my massage I feel swollen but within 24 to 48hrs, the swelling reduced and I saw better results as I got more massages. You can't just come once and expect a miracle... remember Rome isn't built in one day! So if you expect to see results, you have to get enough treatment package. I purchased a package of 10 sessions which ran for 35mins. I started seeing big results on my lumps and swelling with diet and exercise at session 5. It is very important to drink alot of water because lipomassage is a lymphatic drainage massage.
