First time trying this place, and I'm not impressed. The decor with the cat curtains is cute, but the space felt a bit cold with its hostile architecture. There were no tables or any comfortable spaces to sit. It seemed like a defensive design where they don't want anyone to linger too long. There was only a small concrete 90-degree ledge for seating, and it was so cramped with the number of people in the store that it felt awkward to even try to sit on it. Aside from that, I ordered a Dragon Well Tea with soy cream foam and osmanthus jelly, and it took a long time to make. When I finally received it, I realized they had made it wrong. The cashier just said, "Oops," then "fixed" it by pouring out half of the tea and adding the cream. I mentioned that it seemed like a lot of cream for a tea drink, and she said that's how it came. The drink looked nothing like the teas in the pictures or on the menu. I also noticed everyone else's drinks had less cream foam, and I didn't customize mine or ask for extra at all. Overall, I'm a bit disappointed with how my first experience here went.
I really like the decor of this location because of all the cat imagery. However, I wish that they have more seating where people can sit and hang with friends. I ordered at the kiosk. I ordered avocado mango, barley, and rice frost. I preferred the barley taste more at the Tustin location. It was my first time trying the rice frost and avocado mango. The rice frost was very interesting, but I enjoyed cause it was unique. Service was friendly. I had to ask for a bag though because they didn't ask me, but I noticed they asked other people. I also noticed that they realized they gave an order to the wrong person, but they did not correct it. Because of that situation, another family did not get their order and had to ask the person to make their order.
1. The drinks were well-crafted and delicious! I really like the RiceFrost! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The interior is nicely designed! 3. The staff were quick with our order! My second time here, because the first time was so good I had to come back for another one I had the rice frost, it has a very unique taste that non of the other boba shop has it I bought the other signature drinks for my friends and they all love it Service is friendly and nice
Very happy that there is now a 3Cat closer to me. Orders are primarily placed through 2 kiosks, and there is usually a small wait during peak times. Drinks do come out pretty quickly. The interior is clean and modern, unfortunately not much interior seating to hang out with friends. There is a standing rest and some seats to wait for your drinks. The drinks are especially good, loved that they use real fruit, but a little on the pricey side.
I've gone to their LA location and was excited to see one here. There was a line with two kiosks, but it did go quick. Since it was late, I wanted to try their pink coconut glow or their water chestnut boba, but both were out. I ended going with the Watermelon Crunch with water chestnut popping boba. I don't love popping boba, but was intrigued with the water chestnut and it did take some getting used to. The watermelon slush was still sweet so I'm not sure I'd get it again. The Oreo mocha was fine - mochi was hard to distinguish. I would come back to try the water chestnut boba version and other drinks, but don't think I'm in a rush to do so.
I went twice, the second time was to redeem a free drink. You can order at the kiosk or the cashier. Warning the parking is atrocious. The first round I ordered: Avomango Sweet Dew $8 - the textures were a little all over the place for me. I think it could've done without the mango puree. Mochi Barley Burst $7 - this would've been more enjoyable without the popping boba/tapioca. The mochi at first was enjoyable but it became difficult to drink. Mochi oreo smoothie - I added Boba but it was a bit underdone. Mochi mango - probably the best out of the four. It's mango forward and not too sweet.
During a BOGO weekend, my friends and I waited around 30 minutes in line before ordering at self-service kiosks, which was not too bad. All their drinks sounded delicious and unique since they had interesting combos of toppings that went along with the drink. I tried their Cheese Berry smoothie, which was made with a delicious berry puree, Biscoff crumbs, and cheesecake cream. The Biscoff crumbs added to the texture of teh sweet and complemented the berry puree well.
Avomango: 9/10 (also has pomelo & crystal boba!! It's VERY similar to yang zhi gan lu) Mango mochi: 9/10 Such great quality of drinks. I prefer this place to other cafes because they don't only have matcha/coffee. Very unique menu and I like that it's smaller. The ordering system is pretty fast (kiosks or at the counter if you have coupons) and then there's a screen with all the order numbers. Very organized. Staff is super nice and speedy, and the interior of the place is very cute. Very modern and trendy. ALSO they give out these cute bags if you're taking out, I love the designs!
First time here! The place is spacious but it doesn't have a lot of seating. Maybe about 10 seats. So it is more take out style rather than cafe style coming in to chill. Their current seasonal drinks are the a watermelon series. What's nice is they open until 12 am while most of other boba places already closed. I got the Jasmine milk tea with Barley popping boba. The drink was good! The Jasmine tea is strong (similar to Molly tea or hey tea style). The barley pooping boba was interesting. It does pop when you bite into it but then it gets chewy after afterwards!
Usually Boba spots have semi generic drinks that can be found anywhere. This isn't to say it's bad but moreso that they want to play it safe. But 3cat definitely takes chances to make things that are unique. I had 2 drinks: Mochi Mango and Grape pear. The mochi mango was absolutely delicious. It does lend itself to be on the sweeter side, but if you love mangos, this will surely hit the spot. The mochi complements the mango perfectly. The grape pear was a surprising hit for me. As it's super flavorful. The grape and pear combo is one that I never knew I needed. It was quite refreshing and balanced the sweetness of the mango mochi. Since its opening, I think I had the their drinks 3 times. It definitely sets itself apart from other boba spots.
We came here on the Sunday of the grand opening and waited about 20 minutes to order drinks. They had their bogo deal so we left with 4 drinks. We got all 4 of their signatures. All drinks were amazing. The rice frost was refreshing. The mango mochi was super sweet and is a must try for mango lovers. The mochi barley burst hits the spot as always with the chewy barley inside. The avomango is creamy. I was even hearing praises of people nearby talking about their drinks. The drinks only took about 15-20 minutes to come out considering the fact that the staff were slammed with orders the whole time. It is quite a small place with a seating area and a screen to see your order status so it's more of a grab and go rather than a sit down spot. Overall, im so glad another 3cat opened up and ill be visiting whenever im in the area!
This review is few weeks old. We was there on their opening weekend, which has b1g1 offered so obviously the line is long. The place is also small with no place of seating so anticipate long line. However, the workers are trying their best to stay positive and friendly. They deserve 4 stars. We got the mango mochi and oreo mochi. It was an interesting taste. It taste like yogurt drink more than milk tea drink. I like that they use fresh mango. The mochi taste like a blob of cooked starch, not impressed. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but would try other drink if I'm in the area.

Heard about new location so stopped by to give it a try. Busy with a long long line, around 20 people ahead of us plus they're also in line for their friends too. Took about 45mins to get to us to order...for this weekend, there is a BOGO so buy one & get one free. Plus they're in grand opening period so that is why with the long line, plus long time to find a parking too (15mins for us). The drinks are generally good and better than others but for 1hr of parking and waiting plus 10mins waiting for the drinks, well, it's abit much (for now). The place is new but packed so couldn't say much, staff are busy busy with all the orders and the making...they just look tired. Glad the place is doing well w/ the opening, but hopefully it will be less waiting for drinks. read more
Visited during their grand opening, so it was understandably busy. Parking was difficult to find and there was about a 45 minute wait to place an order. You can order either at the kiosk or at the counter, which is a nice option depending on your preference. They also have a screen that displays when your order is ready, which makes pick up easy to track. The staff were friendly and the drinks were delicious. I was able to go to their grand opening and tried the mochi mango drink. I only had to wait less than 10 mins which was quite impressive given they were so busy. The mango is a puree and it's so delicious! The star of the show was the mochi, it was just the right amount of texture and chewiness, I wish I had double the amount! Overall my drink was very refreshing and I really enjoyed it. The decor inside it minimal but hip, not too much seating though so I imagine when it's crowded you'd have to plan to take your order to go. The drinks are pretty good I have to admit, I got the barley mochi burst. I would say if you're planning to check it out, don't do it just yet. They're still pretty new and the wait will be long. The drinks at 3CAT are good, and the concept is cute, but the seating setup could be better. There are barely any tables if you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy your drink. I'm not sure if that is part of the design, or maybe the cats already claimed all the good spots, but I do wish there were more tables and cushioned chairs available for customers. For a place that serves drinks, seating matters. Without tables and comfortable chairs, I probably would not go back, since I could go to another place that has good drinks and also gives customers a comfortable place to sit. Right now, it feels like the cats have better seating options than the customers. Overall, the drinks are worth trying, and the place has a cute vibe, but the seating and tables definitely need improvement. I would be happy to upgrade my review to five stars if more tables and chairs are added. read more

First time here n i didn't know what to get so picked one of their best sellers. Big mistake Sorry y'all, but this drink was kinda awful. The avocado and mango combo just didn't work for me at all n both of my friends said the same thing. The mango even tasted a little bitter. The boba was the worst part tho hard as a rock like i don't know if it was old or undercooked but it definitely wasn't good. Well at least it was an experience Maybe ill have better luck w a different drink next time read more

I honestly love 3CAT so much and when I heard about it's grand opening I HAD to go! They currently have a BOGO deal for all grand opening weekend so expect lines to be longer. The line stretched across 3 stores and I waited about an hour to get my drinks. The interior design is so cute with a modern design that resembles that of molly tea/hey tea. There's not that much seating inside so it could get crowded pretty quickly. The staff was working hard which they produced drinks very quickly! I ordered the jade matcha and the mochi matcha - coming out with a total of $10.28. - mochi matcha w/ boba 9/10 : this is a blended drink with whipped cream on top, sprinkled with matcha powder. The blended matcha itself was pretty refreshing but it had a faint matcha taste with little to no bitterness. The mochi has a thick slimy texture, not as chewy as boba. However, the boba was cooked to perfection, being perfectly chewy! - jade matcha w/ boba 10/10: now this is what you call a MOLLY TEA DUPE! This drink consists of a jasmine green milk tea base and matcha mousse (cream foam) on top. This drink was SO good and and underrated. It was creamy and very floral with a strong scent of jasmine. First visit was in Friday and second visit was Sunday. On Friday, the line was long but was not that long compared to the one at Sunday. There is a BOGO, only waited around ~50 min to wait in line, order my drinks, and get my drinks. The drinks are so good. Decided to bring my mom and her boyfriend here and for the past days, they have been going here nonstop. Not a spot to sit down, relax or study. Came back for their grand opening because it was that good!!! It was BOGO today and the line was long but our drinks came out pretty fast after ordering A lot of their bad reviews come from the wait lines but I feel like people should be more understanding. They are a new store and with A LOT of eager customers wanting to try. Staff are super friendly so I don't see why it's fair to give a 1 star review if they're working out the kinks :( read more

I loved the drink I got which was the mango mochi one. i would 100% come back to try all the other drinks that look really good! if u like heytea you would like this place. the inside is modern--it's not really a place to study and sit. the service was efficient and there's self serve kiosks. read more
I'm so obsessed. It opened on bolsa so I was p r e t t y skeptical because there are already fantastic cafes on that stretch of street and you need a lot to distinguish yourself there but alas I still braved the chaotic streets of little Saigon and spent twenty minutes looking for parking so I could join the queue of eager bargain hunters for the grand opening of their Westminster location. Disappointed I was not. Despite waiting another 30 minutes in line, staff were stationed outside the cafe in the warm summer heat to humor my queries and make sure I was amply prepared for a streamlined ordering experience. I made sure to get one of their most popular drinks, the Mochi Barley Burst and was not disappointed. Not photographed (because I could hardly contain my excitement) was the Pink Coconut Glow. The Barley Burst was refreshing, light, not too sweet, and offered a fantastic mouth feel between the bursts of barley infused popping boba and velvety sweetened mochi I was in a textural paradise!!! I couldn't stop myself and to my chagrine my beverage disappeared in minutes. The pink coconut glow was a little bit less exciting in my opinion. The coconut was light and refreshing but it was not as pronounced of a flavor as I would've liked and the watermelon was a little faint, little more than a colorful accent, however the chestnut boba was such a game changer for me I still had a ball. I think this store definitely brings their A-game when it comes to boba so even when this drink was a little more lacking it was still a delight with every sip. 4/5 for the barley, 3/5 for the coconut if I was just going off of the actual beverage but goodness the toppings added a full point to both at minimum. Highly recommend dropping by when you're craving a good summer treat. read more

So happy there's a location in Westminster! Their menu options are so different from other drink places which is a plus. We went for their grand opening bogo deal and their drinks were just as good as the Tustin location despite the hour long wait and how busy they were. We got our drinks pretty quick and service was friendly and organized. Highly recommend their Avomango and Mochi Barley. read more

This promotion honestly made me feel like I was misled. My family purchased multiple drinks every day because we believed we were working toward earning a VIP card. Even onTuesday around 9:00pm, staff were still stamping loyalty cards and fixing stamp issues, giving us every reason to believe the promotion was still active. Then yesterday, I was told all 100 VIP cards had already been claimed. An employee also told me the last VIP card had actually been claimed several days earlier. Tsk tsk and yet stamps are still being collected tsk tsk bad Had I known the promotion had already reached its limit, I would not have continued spending money. Loyal customers deserve transparency and honest communication. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in your business. read more

Since this place opened just recently there was a line but it went by super quick! The atmosphere was very homey and the smell was very aromatic. All the workers were very nice and welcoming and finished my order really quickly. I ordered the mango mochi drink and barley tea. The mango mochi drink was not too sweet and had a balanced coconut and mango taste. As for the mochi in it, it was really soft and easy to drink. As for the barley tea, I did not expect to like it as much as I did! The barley tea came with mochi and popping boba pearls. Everything was very delicious, I definitely recommend! read more

i came again early in the morning after a 30 person long line a few nights ago scared me away -- definitely worth it! it's super empty in the morning, in fact.. i was the only one there! i ended up trying their most popular drink, the avomango and it was a delicious combo that took me back to my mom's avocado smoothies. their marketing team is also doing a great job with the stickers + stamps, but they probably should rethink their scheduling though, a lot of employees for an empty store in the mornings. very cute layout, delicious drink, and friendly + helpful staff! definitely a place i'll be making repeat visits to :) read more

Very friendly staffs. Cozy and clean cafe. No tables or chairs to sit on except benches. Very different concept. Saw a line after we ate breakfast at Tayho so we got in line to check it out. It was their soft opening BOGO deal. Hubby got 2 watermelon crunch which he enjoyed! The chewy chestnut complimented the watermelon smoothie very well. I got the jade matcha and avocado mango smoothie. I didn't like jade matcha as much, airroma and Viland Has better matcha. It was missing a topping to compliment the bitterness. The avocado mango smoothie was really good even with no added sugar! It was recommended by staff while I was in line outside. I will return to try other drinks on menu. read more

The menu needs improvement. It doesn't show all photos of the drinks . If the menu had photos of the drinks it would be a lot easier for people to choose. That way they won't by a drink that's not worth it and waste their money . read more
