I ordered the Upcluck and Away mac and cheese, plus a snack portion of the chicken and waffles with the maple aioli sauce. The food was definitely the highlight. The mac and cheese was really good, and that maple aioli sauce on the chicken and waffles was so good. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the portions were decent for what I ordered. I also got the banana brûlée matcha. It was good, but the matcha itself didn't taste ceremonial grade. It had a slightly chalky texture that took away from it a bit. One downside was the wait. I stood in line for about 30 minutes, which was longer than expected. Overall, the food hits, especially if you're craving something savory and indulgent, but the wait and the drink quality keep it from being a higher rating for me. I'd still come back, just maybe at a less busy time, so not the weekends at all!

I asked him why is there an online waitlist at all, It literally says on the chalkboard "no one likes to wait- download FirstWatch app". I double checked with another guy he said yes another 40 minutes or so! We only have a party of 4 not like we're a big party or anything.

The only complaint you will hear from me is simply that it was freezing in there. It's January and we had just had the big ice freeze, but with that being said they couldn't keep it warm and we wound up leaving our jackets on and asking for hot water just so we could warm our hands. I had an apple mimosa and a lavender latte. Both were amazing. I love that I can come in and order alcohol in the morning with my breakfast. I also ordered the spuds deluxe. I got my hash browns crispy and my eggs over hard. I also got them with ham and fresh jalapeños. They were everything I wanted. Our server was very professional and checked on us several times throughout the meal refilling our coffee and water. Despite the freezing weather we will be back. Definitely give it a try if you are wanting a nice breakfast with lots of options. Next time I'm gonna try the habanero pork belly fried rice. Our friend got it and it smelled so good! Not to mention he said it was delicious and ate all of it. No tastes for anyone. Ha ha
