Stirling Road Classic Waffle
Yasser H.

We were recommended this place and I had it bookmarked for a while. I finally got the opportunity to visit recently. Upon arriving, there was one table with customers and we were finally seated. The interior was sort of dark but a nice jazz/ blues setting. The musicians are performing on the weekends. We ordered the sterling classic and the king George waffles n chicken. The waffle was thick batter and the chicken was seasoned good. It was crispy and flavorful. I actually liked the boneless tender better than the leg n thigh that was served. We ordered the orange juice but it was that Minute Maid stuff and not freshly squeezed that I thought it would be. They don't honor the yelp check-in offer as the guy told me that it needs to be removed. Overall good, I do have other items in mind to try next next time.

Breakfast Date on a Saturday morning because my fiancé and I don't get out much, this will be our new go to.. service was top notch , food was great, ambience, company.. nothing negative say. We were greeted and attended the entire time, even small attention to detail. Thank you for a awesome experience can't wait to return.

I finally returned here after my first visit several years ago. The menu appeared to be a little bigger than I remembered, and the prices remained fairly low given the current landscape. This time I ordered the spicy Bayou shrimp and grits. I tried this my last visit, and it was still very good, but not as great as I wrote in my previous review. There were 5 shrimp present, and it came with 2 eggs as well as a biscuit. I opted for over easy eggs. The sauce had a slight kick, but nothing too spicy. The grits were creamy and perfectly cooked. I also tried the mountain boulevard classic which came with a sweet potato waffle and three crispy chicken wings. The waffle was solid as the sweet potato was easily noticeable. The chicken was the highlight here as it was extremely crispy with tons of flavor. It was perfectly fried.

First thing First, the food here was great! Chicken and shrimp fried to perfection. The sweet potato waffle was okay, personally I like my waffles a little softer with a bit of crunch around the edges but that's just me. The biscuit was out of this world, mine was warm and literally melted in my mouth. If you eat it with the scrambled eggs, it taste like heaven on earth. Noooowww the bad unfortunately, the service here is not that great. The greeter can use some customer service lessons with greeting and talking to people. They can definitely use more help and they need more help. There was one waiter for at least 6 tables and even though he tried he could not give everyone his undivided attention. The lighting is a bit much but again that's personal. FYI- there is nothing wrong with my camera the sitting area of the restaurant is the color in these pictures ‍. Not sure if I would revisit this establishment but definitely don't mind ordering for pickup.

Wonderful comfort food, good service, and owned by good people! We needed a breakfast spot for our family of 8 to kickoff the holiday weekend and 4 Brothers was recommended by friend. This place did not disappoint! We had fish and grits, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, eggs and biscuit and everyone left full and satisfied. One of the owners, Jason, was friendly and engaging. It's a family-owned business and they take pride in their food, service and hospitality. We will definitely be back!

The food was the best part of the experience. It was finger licking good lol. I felt the need to not provide 5 stars because of the very long wait time starting with seating, ordering and receiving the food. It took 45 minutes after ordering to get our food. It was about 15-20 minutes of wait time to order after sitting. I would recommend a hiring a host. It appeared the only workers were the 4 brothers like the name. I would also recommend better outdoor signage. It took entirely too long to find this restaurant. There was an Uber eats driver looking for it as well.

I have been meaning to get to this restaurant for a while and finally got the opportunity. I ordered my meal of chicken and waffles online for about $17. When I arrived at first I couldn't find exactly where the place was because I didn't see a sign. I parked and walked in the plaza and I found it. I walked up and they had the entrance blocked by a fan because they weren't having people come in. The man told me he would be right with me. He asked if I was picking up and I told him my name. He gave me my food and that was that. When I finay ate the food, I wasn't too fond of the meal. It was just ok, not bad not great, but ok. I would have to try something else next time.

My husband and I really love soul food so we were super excited to try out this breakfast spot for a birthday treat. Here's what we thought... : ok, lets's start with the GOOD. - I ordered the spicy bayou shrimp & grits and it definitely had that punch of flavor that I love. You could taste the spices without it overwhelming your palate. - I minimize gluten in my diet so I didn't eat the biscuit but my husband says it was delicious. - Shrimp arrived hot (biscuits room temp) - Was not that long of a wait (but we also were the only people there ). & the NOT SO GOOD. - ambience was heavily lacking. as you walk in the door to your left you see a very messy office desk area. - the water glasses were spotty and edge had a chip. - the water pitcher had unidentified specks floating in it . - the service was lacking (but we expected this from other reviewers) - Room was very dark with blue lighting, not really a bad thing, but if you look carefully around, the dark hides a multitude of sins in regards to the cleanliness department. all in all.... the flavors were there! But it was so hard to eat with peace of mind when you see the serious lack of care they put into the simple things. I mean, mystery water? It makes me wonder if this is what I can see, what can't I see in the back? I'm all for a hole in a wall , but this wasn't that. It's a place that gives vibes of wanting to be a nice restaurant but seems to have given up along the way. : This place has so much potential to be great. APPEARANCE: When we walked in, it didn't look like a restaurant at all, more like a disheveled office. We were the only customers at the time. In the dine-in area we were seated next to window but the blue light in the room was a little disturbing, but I guess that's their vibe. I could overlook the appearance if the food was great but it left us a little disappointed. THE FOOD: We ordered the shrimp and grits, and while the shrimp was cooked, perfectly. The grits were a little cold. The biscuit was a little hard. The 2 eggs were undercooked. All of this led me to believe that only the shrimp and eggs were cooked that day. (My mind can only think, we were the first ones here, and this is the first day they opened that week since Sunday, was this biscuit and grits sitting there since Sunday? That messed up my mind a little.) SERVICE: The staff was friendly, but scarce. We did have to flag him down once or twice for service, but he was a nice guy. Again, I think this place has great potential

Plugged in today at Four Brother's Breakfast in Warren, NJ. This was my 2nd time eating here and it definitely didn't disappoint. For a Saturday at 12:30 in the afternoon there was a nice flow of patrons. A really nice relaxing vibe to be honest. Don't let the restaurants location fool you. It is in the cut amongst other businesses and food spots, ample parking and accessible to the major highways. A nice day trip for sure!! Coffee served with real creme Shrimp and Grits the best I've ever had Whiting was fried perfectly Eggs were scrambled just right Service, Coffee, Food and even the water was good Even considering a private event here 5 plugs hands down...can't wait to return @moknowsinfo #seeshopnshare  #shoptillyoudrop #giftcards #treats #moknowsinfo #intheknowwithmo #informationstation #smallbusinessplug #bricknmorterthriveon #onlinesmallbizworks #directsalesareawesometoo #newcontent # supportnshare #njsoulfood #shrimpngrits #chickennwaffles #outstandingservice #greatfood #goodvibes #likesharefollow #crossreviewedonyelp

After serious consideration we settled on sharing the Trinity platter which came with brisket, spare ribs and sausage links. We opted out of the sausage and upgraded the platter with pastrami. The Texas Trinity platter also comes with choices of pickles, one small sized side, we had Mac and Cheese, and 2 rolls. The portions were satisfying and good to share. The meats, oh my! All were smoked and cooked to perfection! Moist, juicy, and tender! Even better, they were seasoned so well there is no need for the also perfect sauces they offer! What an amazing experience at Red White n Que Smoke House! From the friendly and attentive service to their amazing smoked meats! All was top notch real at this place! The staff was very friendly and sociable. I had the Texas Trinity ($36.87). It came with a quarter pound of brisket, quarter rack of ribs, a jalapeno cheddar sausage link, a small side, house pickles and two rolls. The day I went, they unfortunately ran out of the sausage, so they replaced it with a quarter pound of pastrami with no added charge. The side I choose was mac and cheese and the pickles I had were horseradish. This was a large plate of food for sure. I liked how all the meats were sliced, nice thickness on them. The brisket was very tender and very flavorful. The ribs were a little inconsistent with texture, but the flavor was on point. My favorite was the pastrami. The pepper rub was great and just the overall consistency of the meat. The mac and cheese was very cheesy, but still solid and was ideal adding their multiple sauces. The only one I did not like was the white Alabama. All of the other ones, good. The horseradish pickles were a nice change up and paired well with the meats. I also tried the BBQ sundae that had smoked baked beans with pulled pork and vinegar slaw. The type of meat and slaw were chosen. This was very tasty too and another big portion. Will I go back? No doubt.

I think I might put a call into Chef and have him make me a bottle of that Mussels sauce to take home with me. Then came the crisp Caesar Salad, which kept everything bright. To finish, we had the Black Cod and Duck Confit, both of which were very well balanced and cooked perfectly. Oh, and the Guava-glazed Brussels Sprouts were a perfect side. Next time, I want to try one or two of their desserts. All-in-all, we had a great experience, and the night was a success. Chef, see you soon. I might just bring a large mason jar for some sauce!..

I had paid over $60 for a plate of oxtail over rice (no additional side includes), a plate of whiting fish with mac and cheese and collard greens, ordered a jerk chicken empanada and banana pudding. Not sure if it was just today that the food was overly salty. I couldn't finished the greens. The oxtail was okay. Yes, they were tender but I wasn't a big fan of the gravy as I've had better. The Mac and cheese was mediocre nothing that made me dream about it at night. The jerk chicken empanada was dry, salty and burnt. The only item I had enjoyed was the banana pudding - maybe it was because everything was so salty that made the banana pudding tasted delicious. Nevertheless, it was a lot of money for the food that I had received. I would feel a bit better if the food was better but sadly everything was just so salty.
