This is my second time to rate this Q joint and I have given it an additional star (from 3 to 4) because they have really made some changes in how they deal with us (the public thier customers). First this place is clean and the staff is friendly to its customers. They have very good BBQ and they are not afraid to give you enough to taste unlike a couple of their competitors in the area. They have steak night on Fridays and the ribeyes I have had there are better than anything around these parts. Now I know that's a big statement but Im telling you I have yet to get a bad or wrong cooked steak. They always seem to nail the doneness of the steak. And the flavor of the steaks is unmatched for around here! Thier Brisket is tender and has a great flavor the Jalepeno link sausage is very good and plenty. The beans they have taste like a mix of ranch style mixed with pork and beans. I like um! The price is somewhat pricey but at least they give you some value for your money! We made a visit over to 4 Corners BBQ on a Saturday afternoon. I have to give them their props. The place was clean!!!! I did not see an finger prints, bbq stains, or any dirt anywhere on the premises with my naked eye. I order a sandwich and the hubs ordered a meat plate. My sandwich was decent. The bread was the best part of the sandwich. I was a little bothered because my pulled pork sandwich did not include sauce. I think there was an extra fee for sauce, but I thought a little would come on the sandwich. The meat does not have a grilled flavor, but it was cooked correctly. The beans were not appealing to me. They looked good, but I was not a fan. My husband enjoyed his brisket. He did not finish the sausage as the taste was not worth the calories in his opinion. I sampled a bit of his bbq sauce and it did not "wow" me. The staff is not inviting, but they get a pass due to cleanliness. read more

Stopped here today for lunch with the Hubby. We each had the one meat plate. I ordered the Smoked Turkey and he had the Pulled Pork. Both meats had a wonderful smoke without being over-powering. The beans I had on the side were delicious but the potato salad, while good, had no oomph. The Coleslaw my hubby ordered was very tasty. This place is a gem! The whole smoked chicken was juicy and delicious. The brisket was super tender. And the pork rib meat fell off the bone! We enjoyed the potato salad and cole slaw was pretty good. The cole slaw was a little creamy for my taste but I'm pretty picky about my cole slaw. Chocolate pie or Cheese cake. Located at the corner of Old Market Street and Crosby-Lynchburg on top of the rise overlooking the San Jacinto river bridges of I-10. The building is an interestingly renovated historical gas station. It has been there since WW2. I give this place a 3 for starters without even tasting everything. The plate I had my company ordered for us coworkers, had boudin sausage, potato salad, seasoned corn, beef brisket, and chicken. Not to mention, dessert pecan pie and carrot cake too. It's a hidden gem to me, because I live Northwest Houston, and I don't get out around Baytown much. Brisket was the most tender, not over cooked, juicy I've had since being down in Texas. Don't need sauce with it, it's just that damn good. This restaurant is located very close to the I-10 freeway so drive slowly when exiting. The inside was clean. There is a small dining area next to the order stand and more seating to the right in an additional area. There are also a few tables and chairs outside under a covered area (looks like it used to be a gas station a long time ago). The baked potato I ordered came with more than enough toppings and meat so that the potato underneath wasn't left dry and flavorless. I decided to stop by because it was packed outside so I thought I'd give it a try. The line was out to the door and they said there would be a 20 minute wait. Althought the barbeque beans was the best dish on this visit (great flavor, hot--temperture of the beans, the brisket seemed to have lost it flavor completely, compared to my previous visit in December 2017.
