11.11.25 ordered from this place thru doordash for a late lunch today. doordash was delivered in a timely matter, thank you joan(doordash driver). however, my ratings are due to the restaurant itself. i ordered (2) 2 meat plates, and a peach cobbler dessert. the first 2 meat plate, was suppose to be moist brisket and chicken w/potato salad and mac and cheese. order received was moist brisket and sausage w/potato salad and mac and cheese. the brisket was indeed moist, however, no chicken, and the sausage looked like it was old or leftover from the day before, hard and dried out. the potato salad looks and tasted store bought, not like they used have it, made in house. same goes for the mac and cheese, it was dry and look and tasted old, kraft box mac and cheese is better than this. second 2 meat plate, moist brisket and sausage w/dirty rice and fried okra, was mediocre, brisket was moist, however, some parts were hard and dry, the sausage also like the other plate, seemed old, dry and hard. the dirty rice wasn't dirty rice, more like a brisket jambalaya, and the fired okra, was over cooked, dry and hard as well, seemed like leftovers from another day, rather than fresh. i will definitely be order bbq from other places from now on instead of this place. read more

We ordered at the counter two hamburger steaks. The girl was squeezing a zit on her chin as she took our order. She took our cash and turned around to go to the kitchen which was wide open for everyone to see. She immediately grabbed a hunk of fresh ground beef and started rolling it with her hands to make a ball and put on the grill. I freaked immediately because I saw all that and she never washed her hands once. Then she grabbed the other hunk of meat and started rolling it with her hands to make a ball to put on the grill and I said no no no! There was one other employee there and I told her what happened and she went back there and talked to that girl that was rolling the fresh meat in her germy hands after squeezing her zit and handling cash and change at the register. Will NEVER go back there again and recommend that nobody else does either. read more

Tony's is your typical BBQ joint. Great service and the family owned service is also nice. This is your typical comfort food - big portions and lots of salt, fat, and sugar. That said, my chicken fried steak and loaded baked potato was yummy. Not clean eating by any means but southern food rarely is, lol. The atmosphere? Think cafe style with paired down comforts. They will build your plate to order as you walk down the serving line / counter. There are condiment options as well as drink options. No alcohol here. Boo. The dining area is basic table and chairs - nothing fancy. You're here just to eat and enjoy whatever game might be in the couple of TV screens mounted. Overall, the servers were very friendly and checked on us a few times despite not being a typical sit down restaurant. I attempted to eat everything on my plate and ran out of room before food. It was yummy, to be sure, but I couldn't get away eating this richly all year and still be healthy. But hey, I'm visiting family and everyone splurges once in a while! read more

Not like the Tonys I remember. This location is located in an Industrial area and sadly needs a remodel. Hub and I ordered smoked turkey sandwiches, with bbq sauce on the side. We each had a blackberry cobbler with our order. The bun was extremely stale on our sandwiches, and the turkey had no taste, even with the sauce. The hub had an order of creamed corn, which he used to favor. I don't know about this dish. A typical steam table serving line does not indicate better choices. Do you happen to be one of "those" industrial refinery workers stuck on a project in the Mont Belvieu area and looking for the closes BBQ place? This might be your Huckleberry. It is located on the South side of I 10 West and on the West side of Highway 146, in other words, if you're coming from Houston, go under the underpass, pass a light and it's on your left. If you see a donut shop, it's in the same center, the whole "Plaza" is very.....timed. Parking is choppy but adequate. The draw here that is a worth a try is the all you can eat oink ribs for $11.99, you get your choice of two sides but no refill on those. Dear Owner of Ton y's BBQ & Steak House, On your all you can eat special on Thursdays, you might want to make your sides "all you can eat" as well that way people will fill up on the sides that do not cost as much as the meat meal special going on, just a strategy to think about unless you own a pig farm somewhere then you got me on that. Your's Truly, That Guy That Frequents Your Thursday Special. Now that I got that off of my chest let me tell you about the interior. It is old but not a sore to see. The ceiling tiles if you are detailed like me might concern you what are those black spots in certain areas but if you are enjoying the food like I've been, it's not too much of a concern. The interior decorator did not go overboard with the Wester theme on the wall but just enough to remind you that you're in a BBQ place. There are about three televisions for viewing, about enough chairs to seat 30 people and a soda fountain machine with all of the straws, lemons and straws flanking the right side. Do all BBQ places have Jalapeno, onion and pickle bars for your benefit? This one does and it's pretty stocked well. The restroom doesn't represent a scene in Saw so that's a good thing right? Try not licking the door knob, just saying. There are the other BBQ meat players dancing on the menu with moderate prices for what it's worth and I cannot report to you about the taste yet but I can say the AYCE Ribs every Thursday is moderate. It's not bad, it's not super grade smoke ring around the crust that many seek but you will fill your tummy. read more

My parents came here to get a 1/2 lb of sausage and 1/2 lb of brisket along with sides. My mom asked for bread and they put the slices of bread in a brown paper bag. I guess the girl was in a rush to leave and go home so instead of putting the bread in a plastic bag it was faster for her to put all of it a brown bag. As far as the food it's not the same. I don't know have changed but after this visit my family will continue to go elsewhere. read more

I've been here for lunch a couple of times during lunch breaks. The BBQ here is good but not amazing. The good part about this place is it's really really quick - the style is assembly line so you get your food almost instantly. I've gotten the loaded baked potato and the brisket sandwich. The brisket in the sandwich was surprisingly (surprising because they cut it right in front of you) on the dry side. The sandwich is good if you douse it in the sauce they give you. The baked potato is okay - again the sauce is really what makes this this meal - but I've had better. The price is good for what you get - it may be $9 for a baked potato but it's one seriously loaded baked potato! Overall good but not my favorite place. read more

Sadly to say was very disappointed in their customer service. After all the lunches ordered throughout the years for staff, my son placed an order for us for a family meal for pickup through door dash. He went to pick up food but door dash accidently picked up food and delivered somewhere else. I called too find out what was taken so long and he said order had been made and door dash picked it up and delivered somewhere else or he can go get it from where it was delivered, zo said absolutely Not. He said manager would not re-make order or refund because was done through door dash. I ask to speak to Manager and told him it was not our fault they place the pick up order next to the door dash to go and he should at least make it right and re make the order while son there waiting. He said no he would have to wait for them to return order or call door dash. I said sir, we talking about $30 order from a long time buying customer who order all the time for staff. He said he will be loosing money, I said ok, last time I will ever order anything from Toni's, his reply was ok I got customers I need to get back too! Not impressed. I've been there twice. Both times I've been disappointed in the steak. Ordered the T-Bone both times. Although perfectly cooked, Both steaks were thinly cut and not complete. Missing meat from the right side of the steak. $20 is a lot to pay for a skimpy steak. I can get a better cut of meat at the waffle house. Doubtful that I'll be back. read more

Working in Texas for two weeks and I was excited for some authentic barbecue! The staff were friendly. The food was under-whelming though. I don't know what I was expecting. I chose the ribs dinner. The sauce was not the greatest. The meat was tender enough though. I had green beans, which were good. The fried okra would have been better only if they were warm. Skip the peach cobbler and make it yourself. It'll be better. Over all, I'm sorry that I drove 20 minutes for this Texas barbecue. read more

On a Beautiful Sunday after a long day watching the NHRA and smelling top fuel alcohol cars running down the track at 330 MPH really built up a appetite but the smell of race track food wasn't on my mind all i wanted to know is where the nearest BBQ joint close to the track was..  Located off 9545 N Hwy 146 i found Tony's BBQ and Steak House the named sounded so familiar and i remembered this was a chain and i had ate at one in Galena Park years ago that has since closed going into the place we were welcomed and i looked over the menu and settled for my favorite that has become a staple the 3 meat platter i went for the Brisket, Ribs and Chicken and my sides being the loaded potatoes and green beans trying the Brisket first i noticed it was a bit dry and thinly sliced i really didn't get a lot of flavor from the meat because it was like i was eating a thinly sliced roast. the Ribs where also a bit over cooked and also dry lucky i had some sauce to dip them in the flavor on them were pretty good but they lacked smoke to me. the Chicken was last and i must say now that was a moist piece of meat and it being dark meat it was very juicy it also lacked smoke flavor and now it came back to me that the one i ate at years ago in Galena park was also in the same range and didn't impress me but learning what to look for when it comes to tasting BBQ helps me give a honest review when i go into a place i look at the place as if i was judging in a competition i judge each place on its own merit and dont compare it to the last place i ate, I know every place is different and everyone has their own styles just because i dont think its good dont mean the next person that eats there might think its great and when cooking BBQ i know the time and effort it takes to put out product for the customer to eat. Not everyone is a Killens BBQ and believe me i been there on a day that the Beef ribs were horrible but that's the thing with BBQ u never know what you are going to get tell you pull it out the pit and taste it... Pretty good BBQ place. Prices are good and so is the food. The ribs aren't very good but everything else is. They have an awesome hamburger! It takes about 8 minutes to make so call ahead if you don't want to wait. I get the 1/2lb burger and its probably more than a 1/2lb, very filling and very tasty! Lived in the area for a few years now and just tried Tony's out for the first time the other day. I got the chicken fried steak dinner with a loaded baked potato and a side of Mac and cheese, beans, and baked corn. The old lady and I split it all. It was damn good! Portions were LARGE and the taste was fantastic. I can't believe it took us this long to finally try this place out. I would give these guys a 5 star review other than they have horrible customer service. last week my husband went to get baked potatoes and bbq brisket, he came home with 3 potatoes but was overcharged with 4 potatoes, we didn't realize the overcharge until later in the week when we actually looked at the receipt. I personally went to the restaurant today with receipt in hand and explained what happened, I was asked if I called in the complaint, i said no cause we didn't realize the overcharge until later in the week, but i was there today with receipt in hand and was told basically because i didn't call to put in the complaint the same day we realized the overcharge they couldn't do anything about it, I felt like i was treated like i was trying to get a free meal, which i wasn't, i just wanted my food that we were originally charged for, i thought that handling this in person would have never been an issue, but no, they didn't even apologize. I have lived in Mont Belvieu all of my life and as long as I can remember I have supported this business and the food is usually pretty good. However today they refused to serve me because of a mask policy. Keep in mind the mandate requiring masks has been dropped at this point in time. Sad to see small businesses push long time customers away over political stunts. read more

This is really good meat. Brisket no gristle; tasty sausage (I like more spice, but that's just me); good chunks of chicken sides were good, rolls could be lighter. I think we'll come back. read more

Ate there when they first open but wanted to give them one more try to give them a fair review. Not very good, ribs dry, mac and cheese was cover in nacho sauce and we couldnt finish the baked beans. I had lunch here today with friends. The food was mediocre but it was at least 90 degrees inside the restraunt and the soda machine was flat (no CO2). I was there for over an hour and the soda machine was never fixed despite multiple complaints. I asked for a bottled soda and they acted very put out by it but did allow me to have one. read more

Went there to eat for lunch with coworkers about a month ago. Asked for bread with my meal and the cashier reached her hand in the bread bag and put it on a plate. I said no thanks, your hands are dirty. She acted surprised that I wouldn't take the bread. Best BBQ I've had since moving to Baytown. Brisket is fab!!!! Sausage is good and so are the baked beans. A no frills kinda place!

We were on our way back home from San Antonio and I didn't get to eat any Texas Bar-B-Que so we found this place. We were very pleased with the flavor of the brisket and ribs they served. First off, have eaten here before and the food was ok. But today was a different story all together. I got the 2 meat combo plate, brisket and sausage. With my two sides being their cream style corn and mac and cheese, added green beans to the mix. They asked if I wanted sauce on the meats and I decided yes to that. Good thing I did or the Brisket might have been too dry to choke down. Was able to consume half of it. The Mac and Cheese if it could be call that was worse. I have not had mac and cheese that was mac and nacho cheese. I like nacho cheese but on my nachos. The cream style corn was not the style in taste that I was expecting but this side was almost spoiled. It had the taste of going bad so it was left behind. I expected more from having spent almost 20 dollars for plate and drink. The only thing that I could think of is that the quality isn't the same on the weekend as it on the week day. I don't know but I do know that I am not going back to find out. read more
