This is a family business, they've been operating and open, Eloy / Isaias was very welcoming, inviting, and informative. July will be 10 years in business!! #Support local #supportsmallbiz

The best food I have my entire trip in San Antonio! The staff were so quick and even helped us choose our meal and drink. The menudo was delicious and the chicharron stew was my favorite! Thank you for a relaxing morning with delicious food and bright smiles

Bean and cheese taco with bacon

Just picked these tacos up and they were disgusting!!! The beans have a weird smell and look like canned beans.. the carne guisada was disgusting and full of fat.. looked and smelled like dog food! I don't know how this place has 4.8 stars.. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

First time here! Absolutely loved it! I ordered the San Antonio plate and big breakfast for my kiddo. If I had more room in my belly it would have been a squeaky clean plate on both pages. This was definitely a great combination plate full of flavor and authentic ingredients! I love holes in the wall places they have the best of everything! The service was superior, with water for my coffee and prompt attention! The musical vives were up to date and familiar. Very homey vibe. Like going to moms house on Sunday!

    Enchiladas Verdes con Pollo

Best Mexican food during our trip! My husband had the Texas plate and the stew had such incredible depth of flavor! I had the enchiladas verde con pollo and the chicken was moist and flavorful as well. The mini tacos almost ruined our meal they were so good. If you're in the area visiting the San Antonio Missions, you've gotta try this place. If you aren't visiting the Missions, you gotta try this place!

I decided to try out 4 Missions Cafe after checking out the pictures posted by fellow Yelpers. My overall dining experience was fairly good. There wasn't much of a dining ambience, but I'm guessing the restaurant owners are primarily focusing on the food? The complimentary chips & salsa were fair. I ordered the Crispy Taco Plate with one beef & one chicken taco. My platter didn't have much of a presentation, but good & not greasy. The crispy chicken taco was made with shredded chicken breast meat, which was a big plus! I liked the rice & the flavor of the charro beans. The charro beans however had more bacon & sliced wieners than actual beans. I didn't though agree with the $1.99 fee to substitute the refried beans with the charro beans. Most restaurants wouldn't charge to switch the beans! I did receive a complimentary sample taste of the Fideo Soup & it was good. Customer service level was very good during my dining experience. My server was courteous & efficient. I don't know if I'll be back anytime soon, but would consider another visit perhaps in the future?!

This place hits the mark on everything when it comes to breakfast…read more We had the standard huevos rancheros and the huevos benitos. Both were solid, especially the huevos benitos. I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

The hostess was a little drab but as I was walked in to be seated, you could feel the upbeat mood. I loved the beef enchiladas with gravy & rice & refried beans. The gravy was very unique. Not your typical sauce for Mexican cuisine, but very good. As a side we received, warm flour tortillas. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
