Went here on a Friday afternoon and with the nicer weather, we decided to sit on their little patio. This place is really a cool little restaurant with flare. The chips are on point with the salsa as you review the menu. It was happy hour with some great choices for appetizers or a meal. We got puffy tacos, queso, steak nachos and asada/ground meat street tacos. The nachos are filling and the puffy could use a little more meat, but we're good. The margarita on rocks was good, but not much tequila taste. Overall, this is a great place for a sit down meal.

THE BEST!!! We love coming to Camachos. The service is always top tier, the food is amazing, and we can't get enough 10/10.

First time customers, came in during dinner rush around 630pmish. House was packed. hostess bypassed me and tended to those before who moved to the side so I could check in. She and a few other put 2 tables together for these guests #Teamwork she mentioned it was about a 25min wait but was called before that (woohoo) I'm not sure if it was the way the buildings built,, but it was very loud in there. If you're ready to get your grub on with minimal convo; this is your spot. I only focused on eating - it was too loud and didn't wanna yell over the others yelling just to talk. I realized this when I yelled for a server for a straw but she didn't hear me. It was understandable as I was next to a large party. I wasn't ready for this environment so while waiting, we checked out the menu. As soon as we got saw, we were ready to order and I got me a drank! lol their Rita on the rocks was really tasty! I ordered their super Mexican plate that came with two tortillas. Food and plate came HOT. (1) Enchilada was super cheesy, (1) tamale was good (it may have been a bit sweeter for my liking but there was plenty of food on my plate) I loved how they played my (1) crispy taco on a bed of lettuce - it prevented my shell from getting wet with the other juices (was this on purpose or accidental - who cares I loved how my taco was crispy! KUDOS! The nachos compuestos plate was huge. Two separate plates came with it (1- jalapeños and 1-sour cream and guac) I saw all the servers running around and working their magic with each guest. When my server wasn't around, I asked another server for him. She asked how she could help and ended with "I gotchu" man, I wish I got her name... she sure did make a great impression. Our server Alex was pretty on point. Always checked up and friendly. Def worth a visit, their decor was in point

Salsa is served warm, not spicy but good flavor. Queso with beef wasn't bad, and while the margarita tastes good it wasn't very strong. For $10 was hoping for more of a kick. Fajita plate came out sizzling, always a good sign. The beef was a little tough but they did taste good. Cheese enchilada plate comes with 3 and rice and beans. Another item that was tasty but just slightly lacking in flavor, the gravy needed a little more chili powder or cumin or something. So would I eat here again? Yes, probably. None of the food was bad it all just barely missed the mark in one way or another. Prices were fair. Everything was piping hot. Food came out quickly.

It's been tough to find a mexican restaurant for lunch and dinner that is decent and worth the price. We found one in the Huebner & Babcock area. We had lunch on a Saturday and the food came out fast, hot, and was delicious. The enchiladas were cheese. The rice was made perfectly and the beans were great. The tortillas were light and fluffy. I prefer mine with butter. We tried the margaritas and they had many flavors to choose from. I loved the cucumber margarita and my husband had the prickly pear! Wow this meal combo was just what we needed. We cant wait to go back!

Happy Hour price: $7-$8 margaritas plus additional flavor add ons for $1!!! I got a mangonada on the rocks with taquin on the rim

Happy hour from 3pm-6pm and their food portions were bigger than expected for it being happy hour! Great drinks, chill vibe, nice staff!

Super cute place. Also has a full bar.

Absolutely great food! The service has been great every time we've been in. It's nice and clean and decorated so cute. Even if it was a dump, we'd come here because the food is so wonderful!

When you ABSOLUTELY NEED dinner from the neighborhood hole-in-the-wall but they close at 2 p.m., Camacho's has got your back. And the end result is a masterfully elevated rendition of everything you love and crave and desperately want to eat every day but you can't because you're getting older and cholesterol and heart disease are on your fast-approaching mortal horizon. So just imagine--your favorite carne guisada but even MORE tender, your favorite flour tortilla but 3/4 INCH LARGER in diameter, your favorite green salsita but in a BIGGER bowl!!! Is this place for your fancy-pants dinner date or your trendy friends who care more about ambience and selfie opportunities than flavor? No, it is not. But the two dishes we ordered were great and if you're past the age of visual nonsense and all you need is a hearty meal of Tex-Mex classics, this is your spot! Now, did I have sister-restaurant Lupita's for lunch and still want more of that good good for dinner? Nnnmaybe. But I'm not telling and you need to stop judging me for it. So if you're like me and you can't get the flavor out of your head and out of your heart after 2 p.m. and you need another fix, there is a way to get it. You can thank me later.

Great Chile relleno... pretty atmosphere... nice music playing in background... good spot for a dinner they have a small bar and a pretty good drink selection... we went for lunch it was quiet and nice.. service was good too... the salsa was fair but I'm picky about it...the tortillas were ok but for me just pretty standard... I liked the rice it was really good and again I'm very picky...the plate has a nice presentation as well..

I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
