After various visits from an appliance company, the local gas company, and a plumbing company, I wish I would have called 4 Service Pros from the beginning. I would have saved myself a week and a half of hell and likely saved a few bucks in the meantime. Tyriece was early, extremely friendly, and most importantly knocked the job out perfectly replacing the gas flex line to my stove. Afterwards he offered to check out the work that had been done by the other plumbing company the day before and provided some expertise on some other water damage he saw on my floor. After another company had quoted me a price that was over $120 more for the same work, the owner of 4 Service Pros spoke to me and stepped slightly outside of their normal policy to give me a tentative quote based on what I said I needed. I provided them a rather complex job for the time they would be on site (installing an inline water heater, installing a pressure regulator, and change out the valve on the water main) and their Tech Cody Carroll was great, he was able to point out some installation issues (at no cost) that the product's vendors failed to mention that would have caused me problems, and still get the job done within budget and in only 2 hrs. Called for service on June 7 for my AC unit and the company sent Brandon out to see what was going on. Brandon said we need to add freon to our 13 year old unit and did not bother to check the coils. He sold my husband a ' bill of goods' by offering him a service contract to help with the costs should we eventually need a new unit. The information he provided was in correct. The company credit back the monies for the service contract. Needless to say, the unit was still not working so we called the company back 2 days later and the next AC guy went into the unit to check the coils and said they are leaking but you have time before the unit starts to freeze and cause a problem. They wouldn't be able to give us a quote for a new unit for several days. Not sure what that was all about. I was just replacing a 3Ton unit with another 3Ton unit. Just had to replace the outside AC and coils. I found another company who came out the same day and agreed that the unit needed to be replaced, but that the coils were already freezing and to turn the AC off immediately, which I did. The second company was also able to provide me with a quote and install the unit in 2 days. When I called to cancel the quote from the company, I spoke with Maurice Carter who said he authorized a credit for the entire service, which amounted to $436.60 minus the $38.50 that was credited back earlier. Due to Maurice Carter's error in the amount, 4 Service Pros can't figure out how to refund $398.10 to me as promised. The unfortunate part for 4 Service Pros is that I was a repeat customer and my best friend just asked for a plumber due to a major problem...didn't give your name out. I contact your office most days via phone or email and it is nothing but excuses. It has been a month and still nothing. read more

Originally installed by 4 Service Pros 2 years ago, my laundry sump pump decided to spray water into my basement just hours before I was to head out of the country. I made an appointment from the UK and on my return the service was performed promptly. Thankfully it was an easy fix as vibration had caused the piping to separate. Unable to kneel myself, I did feel kind of stupid for calling out for such an easy fix, which involved just tightening the screw ring. The technician was cool about it and was sorry that he still had to charge me for a service call and after talking to his boss that charge was greatly reduced. Great service. Had an issue with my air handler that was causing a lot if water to build up, called 4 Service Pros around 8pm on a Friday and Nelson was there about three hours later. He fixed everything and gave me great advice on how to avoid the problem in the future. I'd been experiencing lukewarm water rather than hot water. A different plumbing company said I needed to have my hot water heater replaced, for a pretty hefty price. I called 4 Service Pros to come out for a second opinion. Tyriece was very punctual, pleasant, and knowledgeable: upon looking at the setup of the water fixtures in my home, he made a few fixes and determined that my water heater was functioning normally. After installation of a new mixer valve, I was incredibly relieved to see my home had piping hot water again. Seriously SO impressed by my experience with this company and my plumber (s) (Willis and then Thomas who took over) who was super polite, courteous, patient about explaining every step, AND pointed out my problem had been misdiagnosed and remedied the actual problem (which costed less too!). David the plumbing supervisor was excellent, answer all my questions about our failing main sewer line. Showed me all the problems with the camera down the drain and explaining everything that needed to be done. The day the job started Mark and Mike showed up promptly and worked hard all day in 100 degree weather. David showed up and ran the trenching machine for a good part of the day. I alway felt like I was getting expert techs who knew exactly what they were doing. The second day Mark and Mike worked again in 100 degree weather, the county inspector showed up and certified the work. They spent the rest of the day filling the trench and cleaning everything up. Was in need of a new AC/furnace as mine had a shot coil, refrigerant leak, and was 15yrs old. Lorenzo showed up for the initial quote and was nothing but helpful, informative, and cordial. Didn't try any predatory tactics to get me to buy/upsell. He left the property with me feeling good about the purchase instead of pressured.. The AC Installers, Nilson and Johnathan, showed up during the expected time window and showed great respect to my home and kept it clean. They introduced themselves and were very polite. Too polite to the point that they turned down my offer to pay for their lunch. The job took about 8hrs if I recall correctly. They took consideration of the placement of the outdoor unit without me even having to ask and were looking out for my best interests during the installation. They not only installed the unit but showed me how to operate my new google thermostat, how to keep the unit clean, and made sure the thoroughly answer any questions I had. They left making sure I had all the knowledge I needed to maintain my investment. I will be recommending them to my family and friends. We were in a bind having been in a run-around with another electrician and a different company installing a new hot water heater (apparently for no reason, but based on the recommendation of the first electrician) and needed an experienced professional ASAP. I live in a high rise condo, and was advised by condo management to have maintenance done on my pressure release valve due to possible failure due to age. As I entered the area that has the valve, the main water shut off valve, and my water heater, I was horrified to see that my water heater had visible rust! I immediately went to Yelp, and asked for quotes from plumbers. In minutes, a rep from 4 Service Pros contacted me and stated that a plumber could come to me that day for a free estimate! I scheduled the estimate. I got emails and texts with the confirmation of the appointment, and a picture/profile of Carl, who was the plumber who came for the estimate. He was prompt, explained the issues he saw, and gave me multiple options at multiple price points for addressing the issues that I had (water heater, pressure release value, and a mis-place/badly installed main water shut off valve.) He asked questions about my water usage and lifestyle to ensure I got what I needed with out 'overselling' me on replacement parts. I got estimates sent to me immediately in PDFs via email. I booked the appointment for today (3 days later). I was told Willis would be doing the work. Willis had a window of 10-2 pm to arrive. Around 9 am, Willis called to ask if he could come a bit before 10 -- I was SO HAPPY! There is nothing worse than waiting all day for help. Willis showed up and went to work. He was efficient, and took care of everything! He also gave me some tips on how to maintain some other plumbing fixtures in my condo to help them work better (apple cider vinegar in toilet tank to reduce some sludge that had built up, Turtle Wax for sink faucet to get rid of some grime) and made some recommendations for future work (I have some OLD OLD valves in my unit -- he suggested I consider replacing them). Hiring a plumber is never fun. But Carl and Willis at 4 Service Pros made the process less horrible than it usually is. And the staff that do the scheduling by phone and email are also really good -- I had some questions about my estimates, and asked for some changes, and I got all revised documents in matter of minutes via email (PDF attachment). read more

He was very professional and helpful but in the end, couldn't resolve the problem so he scheduled a return visit to run a tracer on our electrical system. After some thought, we cancelled the second visit, informed 4 Service Pros that we were getting a second opinion. Mike Schick, the manager, called us and offered to come back out with Byron, for free, to find a solution. They did and spent another 3 hours - finally solving the problem. We were so impressed with their customer service and coming back out the second time without charge. I'm really torn about how to rate this company because the plumber who did work for me was absolutely amazing. I would easily rate his work and my experience with him as 5 stars. However, the rest of this company is so dishonest and bad that I will NEVER hire them again. I hired 4 Service Pros to do a lot of plumbing work which took several days to complete. At the end of each day, I would pay for the work done on that day, leaving the amount not done unpaid until they returned to complete it, exactly as I was instructed to by the plumber. At the end of the last day, I paid out the last amount and parted ways with the company as a satisfied customer...or so I thought. They don't actually send you updates about your account until after the plumber leaves. When I was expecting to get a receipt, I instead got a new bill charging me for the work done a second time but without the discounts my normal bill had. Plus, they already charged the credit card they had on file for me with that higher amount! I immediately called. They put me on hold and routed me to different people. I went through this multiple times on a couple calls before finally getting someone who would help me. After I explained situation to her, she assured me that a refund was being processed for the extra amount from the missing discounts. I then asked her to fix my account so that it doesn't look I owe money from them double charging me for the last job. She told me that with the refund being processed, it's already fixed in my account since all the bills are linked together for my address. She confirmed that all the records on 4 Service Pros say I don't owe anything. A few days later, I see the refund on my credit card bill along with all the payments. I was mildly annoyed all that happened but figured it was an innocent mistake. Boy was I wrong! Several months later, I get a call out of the blue from 4 Service Pros claiming I owe them hundreds of dollars...in the exact amount of the double charge. I explained to the person on the phone, who was supposedly "Tatiana", about the whole history: the double charge, the calls, what the company told me, and what was on my credit card bill. She said she'd talk to her manager and call me back within the hour. That hour comes and goes with nothing from them, so I call later that afternoon and ask for "Tatiana" by name. The person who I get forwarded to asks how can they help me, I explain who I am and what I'm following up on, and she says "That wasn't me." Uhhh, what?!? Before I can respond, she quickly asks for my address to look up my account. Once she sees the history, she goes "Ohhh, she wants to talk to you about it directly, but she's on a call right now. She'll call you back after." Who is "she" and what's going on with my bill??? I don't get to know apparently because "she" never called me. When I tried calling the next day, their phone operators give me the runaround AGAIN. I finally get through to a man in "billing" who looks up my account and says "I've sent this to Anna and she'll call you back on Monday." When I call him out on the fact that they've NEVER called me back any of the times they've promised to call me, he finally admits up that he "can't do anything" because he's "just in dispatch" and that he actually works out of a call center, no where near the accounting department. I tried to ask for a customer service rep but again he tells me that he can't do that since he's "just in dispatch" and that I would have to call the main number. That's the exact number I DID call and they always send me to dispatchers, never to anyone who can do anything. I doubt they even have an actual customer service department. Every time I've called, I'm put on hold and forwarded to someone else who pretends to try to help me at first but later has to send my request to a manager. The manager is never available, the dispatcher has to hang up instead of letting me hang out until the manager can talk, and then no one calls me back even if they set up a time to. I'm pretty sure there are no managers and absolutely no intent to ever call anyone back. I do NOT recommend 4 Service Pros. read more

We needed a new water heater. Discussions with Lowe's and Home Depot or frustrating because we wanted to know more about the water heater before they brought it out to install. For service pros assigned "Jimbo" to us and he was great. He's worked in this field over 30 years, he knows the good the bad and the ugly of water heaters and had a lot of different things to help us better understand and maintain our new water heater. Two days later, he arrived back at our home with the new water heater which has an alarm on it so will never have a flood and explained all the details To my husband. Edgardo replaced the guts of two circa 1995 toilets and the water line hose on one of them. Both toilets were taking overly long to fill. I'm not ready to replace the toilets but wanted to improve their functionality and Edgardo's suggestions worked for me in my particular situation. He leak tested each toilet with blue dye and cleaned up after his work was done. Price was about $400 for the two toilets together and was in line with what I expected. The parts used were custom fitted to the height of each tank to prevent possible water overflow. Highly recommend Edgardo for plumbing; he replaced some leaky hose bibs for us several years ago and did a great job then, too. Plus, he's a Jeep afcionado, like I am! read more

I had a plumber over a couple months ago who said he could not do the more extensive work since it was beyond what he does. He recommended 4 Service Pros to fix some plumbing to a pump in the basement and to put in a shower stall. I checked the reviews on Yelp and almost are good, so I am very surprised by the run-around I received from 4 Service Pros reps. After a couple phone calls and email exchanges with reps, I could not get anyone over to give me a quote. My last exchange was with a rep. who said he passed my information to his manager. I heard zilch from the manager. It's hard to give a stellar review when I can't even get someone over to the house. Update: I originally gave a one-star review, but amended it today (Julu 5th, 2020) after the company president left his phone number and requested I contact him. The issue was the front-line customer service gave me the run-around and would never nail down an appointment. I hope the president remedied the issue since most clients give the company 4-5 stars for the company's work. read more

They are quick and efficient but pricey. We've used their services twice. The first time was for a smell coming from a light fixture. The technician tried cleaning it but ultimately recommended replacing it. He waited for my husband to go to Home Depot to get a new one, which was awesome, and then he installed it. However, it cost over $200 because they have to charge $189 (or something close to that) once work is started, regardless of the degree of the work. If we hadn't gotten the new fixture, we would have paid $189 for him to just clean it, and if we wanted him to come back to install it, another $189. The second visit was to have some wiring covered. It only took the technician ten minutes, but it cost $225. If you need someone to come out right away and get the job done, this is a great choice, but if money is an issue, I'm sure you could get a better price if you have the time to shop around. We needed someone to come out right away both times, so we paid for that convenience. Also, they say they wear she covers, but they only take off their shoes, and their socks are not very clean given what they do. I'd request fresh shoe covers for your service. read more

My humidifier stop working. 4 service pro came and replaced with new one-it did not work. Another technician came and said all wiring done wrong and redo. Still not working: humidity in the house 28%. Then the third one came, stayed near the humidifier and said: "I hear it works." I called again- the supervisor came: look around-"You need digital thermostat." OK. Installed-not working. Mr. Henry came back, check and said: they did not connect outside T sensor, but though it away, so he will order a new one. He came - 5th visit, installed another thermostat. Your guess? - Sure, it did not work. He came 6th time-checked and said he needs one more details. Finally came today, installed everything and left. But I've noticed the humidifier motor is working all time: he did not connect it to furnace sensor, I guess. So, 7 workdays lost, tons of nervous - plus I've noticed some signs that they bang on water heater: brand new it has visible holes and bumps-do not know why they did. So, my recommendation is keep off of such company and try to find a contractor who know how to work with HVAC. And in order tp preserve my $1000 investment in humidifier I will be forced just cut all wires to stop it to destruct itself. They always came as soin as I've placed complaint in BBB, Google review and here. read more
