Pro: Clean location. Versatile and bilingual technicians also. They have numerous pedicure techs as we technicians .today was my first time trying them at the recommendations of my mother. My technician was Donna , I made the appointment with Alice who was the owner. I arrived at 11:40 am for my 12 noon appt . Donna began my service at 12:04p. I received a gel fill with gel polish . She pushed back my cuticles gave cuticle oils , warm towel and light message on my hands ! I asked for square shape and to leave my pinkies coffin ! Overall happy the accept credit cards and have an ATM machine. As a millennial they don't do gel x nails or Apres! But they have hard gel (imbedded) gel they also have color gels as well . After months of living in quarantine, and no mani/pedi since February, it was a sweet return. Appointment making is open and flexible; the salon is practicing your typical safety precautions (i.e. temperature check on arrival w/waiver to sign, social distancing markers, plastic dividers). As always I was happy with my regular nail tech (You Miee) mani's. My cuticles were wrecked and she got them back under control lol My only issue - the nail polish literally started chipping the very next day, China Glaze is not really my go to for laquer's but I wanted a neon color and they didn't have any non-gel neon colors =( I even have to recant my former statement of not getting a pedicure ever from here, I caved and got my 2nd pedicure. It was a drastic difference from my 1st...so I might just be getting a 3rd ;-) read more

My cousin recommended this nail salon to me because she has been going here for years and I was not disappointed with my gel pedicure. The salon is located in a little strip mall rite off the main road that runs through Edgewater with a private parking lot so there is plenty of space. The salon itself was very clean and I really liked that the pedicure stations had those liners in them. All of the tools used looked new and freshly sanitized. The woman who did my nails was very thorough and did a great job. The massage chairs you sit in were really nice as well. Over all I thought the pedicure was awesome and the salon was very clean and offered many color gel options which I always love! I will absolutely be back! read more

The prices makes sense for the location ( I only get a basic mani-pedi). My only issue is that they're always crowded. They do a good job with pedicures and they're very reasonably priced. I always hate it when they charge extra for removing calluses, since this used to be part of a pedi. My biggest issue though is that the manager or owner(?) is very gruff, doesn't let you ask questions or make special requests when booking or even in the shop. I'm talking about things like wanting to sit next to a friend who's meeting you there at the same time or asking if a color is also available in gel. The way that she barks at staff is stressful to them and customers. I was also disappointed that they recently closed on Sundays. Aside from the manager, the technicians do a good job. read more

I had a pleasant time with my twin sister. We both got a manicure and pedicure. We used the nail polish that stays on a bit longer that is not GEL. It was an extra $4. The prices are great for this area. $10 regular manicure and $22 for pedicure. The place is clean. They use plastic wrap in the pedicure bowls which I always liked because it shows cleanliness and keeping good hygiene. Staff was kind. So kind that they held onto my sneakers! I had so much on my mind, that I left with only my flip flops that afternoon. After a couple of days heading to the gym I couldn't find my sneakers. It hit me 5 days later that I never grabbed them. Finally found my forever nail salon, Was going to many different places and couldn't find a nail tech who filed my nails evenly and gave me a long lasting mani. I was doing powder dip for awhile and it would chip away within a week, Now ERIC does my nails and he does such an amazing job, I go every 2-3 weeks and my nails always look amazing. I've seen everyone who works there and they are all great, Eric is my favorite. Definitely recommend this nail salon especially with how clean they are. Ohhh and they only take appts, which I love, it guarantees I won't be waiting 20 mins for someone to finish up and be ready for me. Staff is friendly, kind and accommodating. This is my second time trying them because the place I've been going to for years changed their products and my nails peel and chip within days of me getting them done. No bueno! I wanted to try a new spot to not have to spend $75 every week with the other place and this place definitely uses quality dip powder. Their dip technique also makes your nails look very natural. I went on a trip and couldn't come back for 3 weeks and my hands and feet lasted the entire time for the same price as my old spot. Plus I will say that I've had different people do my nails each time and everyone does a great job. They are clean as well. Let's start by saying that the nails are amazing ! They last an extremely long time! Currently, we are speaking only to the longevity of tips. The nail tech I was unfortunately paired with was unprofessional. She insisted that I didn't know what i wanted when I asked her to cut my tips at a certain point and she still filed them down to where she waited. She was suppose to make it a coffin I believe and instead it wasn't and I tried explaining it to her and she thought expressing to me that she's been doing this awhile and I wouldn't know better than her was the professional thing to do. When we got to my nails, the worker did a decent job but there was a new girl that was being trained and the manager was a bit harsh on her. They did attempt to have her train on me and the manager stopped it but she didn't do so terrible. When I tried to tip the new girl, everyone looked at me like I was crazy. read more

My first time here. Just after nail salons opened on June 22nd. Its clean, neat and the staff is efficient. I was in and out in 30 mins. The only problem i faced was I did regular manicure and they were allowing you to sit only 2 mins to dry after. That kind messed up 1 of my nails as i had to drive back and they still weren't dry. Guess it wasn't up to them. Not sure if that rule is at all salons. Atleast if we could sit for 5/6 mins it would have helped dry the nails. But all in all in terms of the cleanliness and precautions the place took, i would recommend it during these times. read more

My favorite nail place! I try to come whenever I can - and I live in Brooklyn. All my gel manis and pedis have been great. Got my first tip set yesterday and I love it! The only quibble I have is that I asked the woman who did my pedi if there was a restroom I could use before I sat for my manicure and she said 'No.' Then about an hour later I see a customer get up and use the bathroom. So I don't know what that was about but I was rather annoyed. Granted I am terrible at understanding accents but I asked very clearly about a restroom and she definitely said 'No.' Still recommend this place! read more

I tried this place due to a referral from a friend. She even told me which technician to ask for. Kim. I went and I was not impressed. I made an appointment with Kim and someone else did my pedicure. While I was getting my pedicure Kim started doing another clients nails... so by the time my pedicure was done I had to wait for her to finish the nails. By the time she got to me I could tell she was rushing through the manicure. The results were not perfect and the polish wasn't super clean. 3 stars solely due to the price. i live in the bronx and my friend in the upper west side. i was visiting my family in cliffside NJ and since it was sunday, my typical nail salon was closed. decided to come here based on reviews and to get a cheaper gel manicure/pedi with my friend vs what we would pay in the city. didnt end up being the case. actually paid more for a manicure here than the place under my friends apartment in manhattan. the pedicure was very well done and unique (clay mask and plastic wrap on your legs??) and a good price of $22. however the gel manicure (normal nails just gel polish) ended up being a hefty $35. they do offer some sort of deal if you go 11 times you get a normal manicure free, but i dont get my nails done just to get a normal manicure so this isnt really an incentive for me. i would definitely recommend going if you are in the area and in need of a pedicure. but if i need a gel manicure ill just stay in new york and pay less for it. read more

I just had a positively orgasmic pedicure! The Hot Stone Pedicure starts with your choice of milk, peppermint or green tea mud pack on the legs. I got peppermint. The callus eliminator smooths your soles with steaming hot towels followed by a vigorous scrub. It also includes a really good deep tissue oil massage of the legs, a reflexology foot massage and hot stone massage of the feet and legs. By the time he was done painting my toe nails i was jelly in the chair. All that for only $48. Delicious! And here is the towel they used on my feet and legs, hanging on the tub and then proceeded to wipe down the pedispa basin and ledges with the SAME towel they had just used on my feet!!! I lost my nail lady when Nail House of Hackensack changed owners. Not wanting to make the trek to morristown, I've been attempting to find a new and much closer nail place. I tried a few and was horrified with the result - literally ripping nail files out of people's hands to fix the crooked toe nails they gave me. I finally stumbled across this place, saw the reviews and figured what the heck - I mean it couldn't get worse right? In I went and pleasantly surprised I leave! It's very busy so get there early but the staff is very friendly and eager to accommodate. The wait is not very long and they have a lot of people (good people!) working. They listen to what you want and actually deliver it. My toes are straight, my pedi was great and my mani was perfection. They do the spa pedi and mani combo for cheaper than my old place. The only reason this place didn't get 5 stars was because they don't do the paraffin treatment on the heels and you have to change technicians between your mani and pedi. Other than that, I think I just found a great replacement! And they have SO many colors! Thanks to the other ladies for giving accurate reviews! read more

I think it's time for me to move on. Although I've been coming here for 18 years (since the original owners), I've made an appointment at another place because I haven't been happy over the past couple of months. While I have used various technicians over the 18 years, I was a loyal customer to Kim for the past 7+ years. I came in one day to find out she was gone, and something didn't feel right - I got varying stories as to why she was no longer there. Reluctantly, I decided to give both Donna and Gina a try and both do an adequate job but not as good as Kim, in my opinion. I prefer Donna over Gina, as she is a bit more personable and easier going. I usually do the pedi first and mani after. I pay after the mani and then, I pay out the tips. One day, I forgot to give the woman who did my pedicure a tip and the owner (Alice) ran after me in the parking lot like I stole something. I was appalled. Granted, I'm fine with being reminded since it was a definite oversight, and I've been very friendly with the women who do the pedis since they've started, and I've always looked out for them. (When I first started coming here, some of the women who are doing manis today were doing the pedis.) Charly, the husband/owner, has always been extremely pleasant. There's a saying that people may not remember what you said or did but will remember how you make them feel. The feeling of being an appreciated, long-time, loyal customer has definitely dwindled. 4 U may be for you, but for me, it's time to move on. read more

My sisters and I went here today. They got their nails done and I got my toes done. I would definitely like to say that then it comes to the quality it was great. But, the woman who did my toes was really rude to me. I don't have time or money to get my toes done that much. When I pulled my feet out the water the woman said to me in a ride voice "it's been a while, huh", she also showed the dead skin that came off of my feet and gave me a smug I explained to her that I work in animal rescue so I don't have the time or money to which she responded with "maintenance, maintenance, maintenance' in a rude, smug way. Went in last week as a walk-in. It was a Wednesday afternoon so I was crossing my fingers it wasn't crowded. I was lucky and was able to get seated right away. It was my first time here so I'd don't know how to go about things. But she just dove right into doing my pedi. Don't know if there are special packages or not (there was something written up in the back but i forget what it said). But anyways, the lady who did my mani was great. I never get pedis or manis done so I can't really compare things to other locations or experiences. But I'm not a picky person so my overall experience here was great. Things were clean and the people working here seems nice (typical nail place). They also have a point card where after 10 appointments you get a free regular mani! Heads up: once I got seated for my pedi, it got busy so either call beforehand to check the wait or schedule an appointment. Unless you don't mind waiting a tad bit.
