What kind of night did you have last night? Depending on how long you have been awake at 7:30 a.m. you might want breakfast. Maybe you want lunch? Well you can order either one at this cool historic restaurant in downtown Cartersville! I truly loved stepping back in time at this awesome diner called, 4 Way Lunch! The staff was friendly fast to serve a meal and sitting at the counter of the restaurant is entertaining and oh so cool! Prices are reasonable and it was a terrific visit, back in time! The town is charming and you could spend the day here and enjoy breakfast and lunch! Burgers are a nice thick, juicy patty!

1st time back here in about 30 years - Ernie Garrison cooked my meal back then. Nothing has changed - wonderful meal and sweet and friendly people! This is truly a landmark - an icon.

I was suggesting this restaurant as a part of a surprise road trip that I was going on. It was one of the suggested places to stop, so I wanted to check it out. The restaurant is very small inside. It only holds up the out 14 seats. Upon walking in the staff spoke, but seemed a little shocked at us coming in. Everything was fine until we ordered our food. Once we order food and watch them start to prepare it, no one wash their hands and they touched everything with their bare hands. A lot of the food was already pre-cooked and sitting over to the side. I watch the girl pick up my sausage patties with her hand to bring over to the cook to make my omelette. I also watched the same young lady walk outside after she had grabbed my sausage and went into the freezer right outside the back door and grab a hash brown with her bare hand. One of my other friends had ordered tomatoes in her omelette, and it was the same thing she picked up the tomato with her bare hand and just started cutting it, never washing her hands in between. There were no gloves, it was so unsanitary. Nobody was also wearing a hairnet, so I found that odd as well. I regret not saying hey never mind we're gonna leave. Also, when a group of guys came in that clearly, the staff knew they were no longer really paying attention to us and we're over talking to them. At one point the Cook even walked over on his phone and had I guess his child on FaceTime talking to the guy in the restaurant. There was another guy that came in and got chili dogs at almost 10 AM. Nobody refilled his drink, so he took it upon himself to grab his cup and refill his drink since he was sitting right next to the drink dispenser. All in all I could tell that this is a neighborhood staple, and everybody knows each other. But this does not seem like an actual business And I would not recommend going to this place. They even charged for water... Crazy. This family came in at about 9:55 AM and they were told that breakfast was over. After the family walked out, you could hear the girls say I wasn't gonna cook any more food. Very unprofessional. And the food was not good.

I hadn't been in here for years, and after visiting today (Thursday May 20, 2022 around 1pm) I had forgotten what a great place it is. 1. Prices are extremely reasonable. W 2. Location is great 3. Plenty of parking in area 4. Service is fast and professional 5. Food is very good and quantity is ample. I had the chili burger "all the way" which is burger with chili, onions and mustard. Absolutely delicious. My wife had the hot dog "all the way", hot sog.witj chili, onions and mustard. Based on these 5 factors, it's a 5 star place for us. Definitely recommend.

Tiny little diner with hard working friendly ladies serving up good food at low prices. Enjoyed a Biscuit w/ Brown Gravy, Egg and Grits. A delightful 1940's throw back. Recommend =)

This place is an institution that has been around since the early 1930's I believe. 4 way is nothing fancy at all. They have a good breakfast, hotdogs and burgers for lunch that most people get brown gravy or chili on them. Do not expect to get seated as all they have are bar stools and you just wait your turn for one to open up so if you go with a group planning on sitting together the chances are slim. I Love going there a few times per year, it's like going back in time. The prices are reasonable but it is just a small diner. If you are a local and never tried it please put it on your bucket list. If you are traveling thru. I also suggest giving it a try. You will also be close to the local shops that you can visit while downtown. Break up your travels and enjoy our little town of cartersville. Give it a try. You have had better, you have had worse food. You have not had this experience.

Great lunch counter with only 8 seats and some friendly staff. Try the hotdog all the way with cheese and slaw.

I finally pulled up on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch, and honestly, the sheer scale of this place is hilarious. The parking lot alone is a whole ecosystem, and the inside looks like it can comfortably seat half of Metro Atlanta with room to spare. I came with a serious appetite, so I went straight for the classic heavyweight: the Roast Turkey Entrée (all white meat). Now, when the server started listing out everything that came with it, I thought there was a glitch in the simulation. For starters, you get a soup and a salad. I went with the chicken noodle and a Caesar salad. The chicken noodle hit the spot--properly seasoned, warm, and comforting. The Caesar was solid too, crisp and fresh. But then the main plate arrived, and I'm pretty sure they harvested an entire farm for this one meal. Generous portion of white meat turkey, a mountain of mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and a side of broccoli (gotta respect the greens). Every single item on that main plate was absolute perfection. Tender, savory, and cooked with actual respect for flavor profiles. My only real critique? The bread basket. Look, I don't know what happened there, but that roll was completely devoid of personality. Tasted like straight oxygen and flour. Unseasoned bread in 2026 is an absolute tragedy, but thankfully, the whipped butter spread saved the day and gave it a purpose in life. Between the massive portions and the endless menu options, this place is an absolute unit. You're definitely leaving with a take-home box the size of a carry-on suitcase and a strong urge to take a three-hour nap. Great energy, fast service, and legendary portions. Just bypass the plain bread and dive straight into the turkey.

Can you believe it's been *ages* since I've set foot in that place? The last time I was there was with my wife years and years ago, so it brought back a ton of super fond memories. And wow, what an experience it still is! Seriously, the service was absolutely top-tier - everyone was so welcoming and incredibly attentive. And the food? Oh my goodness, it was just as incredibly delicious and outstanding as I remember it being, if not even better! Every single bite was a pure delight. But here's the really cool part that genuinely made my night: the same wonderful gentleman who used to greet everyone at the door, probably six or seven years back, is *still* there! How amazing is that for consistency and dedication? It just goes to show what an absolutely incredible and timeless place that restaurant is. A true gem that really holds up over time! Broadway Diner in Fayetteville stays PACKED, so clearly somebody loves it more than I do. For me,…read moreit's one of those places where I've tried enough things to know what I like and what I'm probably not ordering again. The two things I'm truly a fan of are the Bigelow tea selection and the dessert case. I love that they bring out the Bigelow Tea Box so you can actually choose what you want instead of getting whatever random tea bag happens to be in the kitchen. And the desserts come from Alpine Bakery, so that part is always going to get my attention. I finally found a breakfast order I'll actually come back for: Chicken Sausage with Egg and Cheese on a Croissant. I've learned that I need to be VERY specific though. They like to scramble the cheese into the eggs, and I don't want that. I order fried eggs with cheese and ask them to brown the chicken sausage because they're not always consistent with how it comes out. The waffle is decent too. Now the home fries? Stay away from those. They're basically just dry diced potatoes. No real flavor, no moisture, no reason for me to ever order them again. So dry you might choke. Everything else I've had has been okay, not great. The Chicken Alfredo needs help. I have to add Parmesan, salt, and pepper, and I wasn't a fan of the texture of the chicken. The Fried Catfish lacked flavor for me. And the pancakes? HUGE. Think dinner-plate huge. Unfortunately, they're also too dense for my taste, so being the size of my head doesn't really help. I will absolutely give Broadway Diner credit for cleanliness. They're constantly vacuuming, wiping down tables, turning them over, and keeping things moving. Considering how busy this place stays, they know how to handle a crowd. Service is okay, but I wouldn't call it stellar. For me, it's 3 stars. I know the parking lot and dining room would probably argue with me because this place stays busy, but I can only rate it based on what keeps me coming back. Right now, that's tea, dessert, my very specifically ordered chicken sausage croissant, and maybe a waffle.

It was fairly crowded when we arrived on a Saturday late afternoon, but we were seated right away. Our waitress was super nice and attentive but didn't know the specials or the answers to our questions. It's a casual place with lots of parking, and a very southern type of "diner." I had the fish tacos (grilled) and tater tots. I enjoyed the tacos and appreciated the amount of fish and toppings, but they were very hard to eat. I was able to pick up the first one without making too much of a mess but by the time I got to the second one, the tortilla was too soggy and I had to eat it with a fork and knife. The tater tots were fine, just regular frozen tots, but they weren't even hot when I received them. There were two things that knocked down the rating. The food took forever to come out! And one plate came out several minutes after the others. More seriously, one of our party has a food allergy and when our waitress checked with the kitchen about what dishes she could have, she didn't seem to be able to get a straight answer. Idk if the kitchen staff just didn't know but that seems kind of dangerous... Luckily she picked something that doesn't typically have this ingredient and was fine. Overall everyone enjoyed their meals but I don't think anyone was particularly wowed. Feelings were mixed on the fried okra. The fried squash could have been amazing but they were huge inconsistent-sized pieces of squash. While one friend enjoyed her burger, it was so messy and impossible to pick up. I do appreciate that the sides were marked if they had meat in them. We got two desserts to go - a slice of pecan pie and a slice of strawberry cake. I was disappointed in the pecan pie. It was a small piece for the price and it wasn't great. If it was delicious, I wouldn't mind paying. The slice of cake was a decent size but was also nothing special, although I think it was enjoyed more than the pie. I also have mixed feelings on listing the cash and card prices. I get it, but I'd rather just know I'm going to be paying a whatever percent convenience fee for using a card.
