We went into get a leak fixed in our differential. They filled it up with oil but didn't fix the leak at all like we had asked!! We had a larger leak in a few days. They recommended a full rebuild. We went somewhere else and They said all we needed was to seal up the leaks at 1/4 of the price of a rebuild. Will never go back to this place that just wants to not fix your problem and try to charge thousands instead! read more

This place's customer service kind of just feels like a transaction, and the attention to detail I'm not entirely sure on. I just had some MC Baller Joints installed from them that I supplied; everything was installed correctly till I started driving, and they really cranked that upper adjustable ball joint down. My Jeep could not find center; driving on the highway back to Oceanside, I was fighting with left and right. All they had to do was take it around the block to see, but I guess they didn't; otherwise, they would have adjusted. Probably not going to be giving my business to them anymore. read more

Jesse (jesus) ordered my 35s, wheels and sets me up for a day to come and install new tires. Took full payment up front when ordered(didn't ask) and day of appointment calls me after dropping off Ram and says wrong tires delivered, then calls me back that he was going to be able to get tires in, OK. End of the day i show up and no work has been done. Has me waiting and says wheels did not show up! Lost a day with my work truck and cant follow up or find a way to get the job done. read more

Total lack of customer service. Ordered product beginning of August have been given three different due dates everyrime I call. I am always told "We will find out and call back", they NEVER DO. Do not come go to the establishment if you're a female. There is a man in there named Chris Harvey. He acts like he's the store manager but he's just employee. He asks you what you want then he will follow you outside and tell you that he can get you the parts and labor cheaper through his employee discount. He will tell you to send you the quote to his phone and then get your full name through caller id. After that he asked me for nudes and told me he'd pay for everything for me car. When I told him no he told me he sent all my stuff back but then kept texting me and telling me he's sorry and that he'll do my Jeep for me he just wants to help me. He wasted a whole month of mine and didn't care that I have children and was riding around in a unsafe car. Please ladies beware of the predator. Showed up about 2 mins before they opened and right on the site 9 AM the staff opened the door and created all of us with a smile. Although there was a "long line" due to social distancing, everyone got helped fast and the 4WP team helped everyone, everyone except us. Not their fault, turns out there was some miscommunication and the parts we ordered were on hold at one of their other facilities. Super irritated with this store. I bought tires a set of 4 tires. I called after placing order to confirm when they are set to show up. At first I was told Friday, perfect! I thought. I was moving that following Sunday. They are not able to put tires on also because of the PSI or something. Whatever, I scheduled it at another shop that Saturday. I called as it got closer to Friday and was told Saturday. On Friday I called they said they would be there on Saturday. I called latter that after noon and they said no delivery on Saturday and Monday they are closed so now Tuesday of the following week. On top of that each person had their own thoughts That they are coming from LA and then today I was told they are showing up from San Diego‍. Then I asked because they can't put tires on knowing that their directional tires to please mark them with an arrow for the correct way to put them on for the other shop that was not done either. I've always use four wheel parts out of Oregon and it's been very positive I can't believe the ball is dropped so bad for this shop I probably will never use them again. This costed me multiple extra nights for hotels accommodating their unknown, and having to reschedule multiple times with the other shop to put on. As I wait at 4 wheel parts for hours. I called the 800 number to see if they could track it. They said it's already there! So, they send me the information. At no point did anyone call from the store to tell, even though I have called at least 4 times today to check if they are in. read more

4WP did an excellent job with a complete axle-swap in my Jeep in November 2022. Tommy Shedore took care of me at the desk and Mike led the work in the shop. What I appreciate the most is that they let me bring many of the parts which I acquired on the used market and I also purchased many additional parts from them, so it was a mix. They installed and aligned all of it without confusion and it seems like they did a really high quality job on all the welds, torquing, and fit-up. It rides fantastic. The steering is amazingly solid even without a stabilizer (yet). I had them upgraded all the steering linkages. Absolutely zero bump-steer. I also had them do a little trimming of my body forward of the rear tires (pinch-seam-weld trim) and the cuts where really clean/straight. I appreciate them thinking to check the differential fluids and taking the initiative to change the oil in the rear diff only, since it needed it. They did not change the oil in the front diff since it looked good (they didn't know it, but it had been changed recently, so they do honest work). They charge a fair rate too without attempting to slide the original quote. The labor rate at the time of this writing (about $146 I believe) was better than ORW in San Diego ($200/hr). I'll certainly be coming back and recommended 4WP Sam Marcos to all my Jeep-buds. If you want to know the details: I trailered in two full axles housings with all internals already installed from a 2013 JKU Rubicon. They installed them into my 2012 JKU Sport which already had a Teraflex 1.5 inch coil-spring lift installed. They had to cut off the track-bar mount off the front axle and weld on a new one on since I'm going with a shorter lift (2.5") that the previous owner of the axles (4"). They also welded on some Teraflex rear shock-mounts for my Falcon 3.3 shocks at the rear axle. I bought a new HD drag link and track bar from them which they installed. They also replaced a bushing that needed it on the font axle. Without having to ask them, they checked the quality of the oil in both axles and only drained/filled the axle that needed new oil: the rear. While the axles were out, I had them swap in some different coil springs, bump-stops, and front lower control arms that I had bought on the used market. I was very pleased that they were willing to do this without any extra charge (it's only a little extra work). They also installed a Mopar Big Brake Kit that I have provided from the used market. They were thoughtful to keep the Teraflex Big Rotors that I had bought recently and were installed on my old axles because they looked a little newer than the rotors that I acquired in the used market with the Mopar BBK calipers. Basically, they were thoughtful in using the best of all the used parts that I had supplied to them. read more

The duel battery setup they installed looked like a child did it. We pick the jeep up and the tackometer and speedo didnt work and my light bar didnt and both my electricl lockers didnt work. They tried to take off 250$ off the bill to get me to leave, but i want it back with all my stuff working right like when i brought it in to them. After days of them trying to fix eveything it was kinda back to normal. The rest of the work i did on my own. IE zip tie the wire down and remount the switch and indircator lights on the dash. There should be a no or negative star rating. I placed an order in June for over $8,000 dollars of items they said were in stock. They charged my credit card and only shipped a small piece of the order, less than $900 and that was only after I called and waited on hold for over two hours after a month of waiting. I can't do anything with the parts they sent because they go to the larger item I ordered. I will not do any business with this company after the all of the aggravation. I have had to call 5 times over the past five months and each time I was promised a follow up call with an update and nothing. Each phone call was at least an hour of hold then having to explain my situation to the person on the phone. Each time I was told this was not right but there was nothing they could do. While I was on hold today I found a company online who said they have it in stock. I e-mailed them and they said yes, its in stock and if I'm willing to pay the extra shipping I can have it. Finally get a person on the phone after being put on hold again at four wheel parts and they said the person on the east coast is lying to me and they are going to refund my money. 5 months after they said they had it in stock. I don't know about you but I can't let companies like this take my money and put it in their bank account for five months and not even call me back with an update on where my parts are. Read the reviews and you will see more stories like mine!! BTW, I have a collection of Jeeps and have spent $15K here in the past two years. Came in and spent over $4,500 on a Bilstein lift and a new set of bfgs. Left the store with my suspension clacking and grinding. Came back in and they charged me another $500.00 to cut my frame to try and fit the tires that they assured me would not rub. Now my frame and fenders are cut and they still rub terribly. Called them and explained but they didn't seem to care. Got rear-ended a week later and ended up needing a new set of rims because one was cracked, drove to the store with a flat tire, they told me they wouldn't even come out and look at it even though I purchased the tires from them($500 ea). Had to have the truck towed from their lot to another shop and purchased a new set of rims that could have been there sale as well but they were so rude I decided and not even bother with them anymore. The customer service is seriously lacking (look at all the one star reviews) I don't know what's wrong with this shop everybody seems so happy with them but I've had a terrible time, feel ripped off and honestly wouldn't go back. So I did go back one more time(5th time), stupid me. Had my truck all day and gave it back to me clanking just the same. Tried to get me to pay another $400 for lower control arms which they had no idea why, but I have had enough. My wife ended up yelling at them at the counter, it was very uncomfortable. These guys are not experts in any way. I am taking my truck to Toyota to determine the damage and then will be suing them for the repairs and loss of time from work. Also they did confirm that the manager was sending nude photos on his phone to customers as stated in a previous review. These dudes are gross! read more

From the start, Tommy gave me great advice, an excellent price for work on our two trucks, and made sure the work was done within a week on both. We had a leveling kit, Method wheels and 33" tires installed on our Suburban, and another leveling kit with springs and shocks, Method wheels and 35" tires on our Ram truck. When there was a hang up with a set of the wheels, Tommy personally dealt with the situation, and drove to another location on the same day to get a better set of wheels, and the truck was still ready on the same day. I've been going to this shop for a few years now and I can't say enough good things. Mike and Jedidiah are awesome. They have always taken care of me. A few weeks ago I bent my front axle right after I upgraded my steering, ball joints and seals(installed by 4WP). I THOUGHT I WAS SCREWED. While my wife and I figured out what bank to rob. Mike was working on getting me an axle in my price range....cheap As things go with a Jeep before I knew it I had added gears and a rear locker. Got some love $$, since I had just bought the balls and seals. Through the whole process Mike was patient and kept me posted on the progress of my Jeep. The whole thing was done and over in less then a week. It was the parts I wanted at the price I NEEDED. I NEVER felt like these guys were anything other then honest and straight up with me. They have been competitive in their pricing and timely with the turnaround. Concerns, always addressed to my liking. Fraudulent over-billing for labor hours. Do not bring your vehicle here to get work done. Spoke to Store Manager Gabriel Toth and explained the situation to him, and he further purported the fraud by explaining that they "work fast" thats why their labor rate is high. Yes the labor rate is high. Thats not the problem. They billed me for 2 hours of labor when my Jeep was only there for 1.5 hours. I have a tracker installed in the Jeep. The Jeep was only at their facility for 1 hour and 29 minutes exactly. They charged me for 2 hours of labor. When I brought this to Gabriels attention he told me they don't charge for half hours of work so they rounded up to 2 hours. Thats a lie and i called him on it. Yes, they do charge for a half hour of labor. Just like every other shop in the world does. Then he offered to refund 16 minutes of labor but also accused me of ridiculing his technicians and tried to justify the over charge because the "work fast" and "spot problems" as favors. Super dishonest situation. Again, my Jeep was only there for 1 hour 29 minutes so theres no reason in the world to charge me for 2 hours of labor. Brilliant way to handle this. Instead of just refunding the extra $40, you're willing to have this blow up into a bad review and a report of fraud to your superiors and the local authorities. read more

Called again 2 weeks later, they were finally ready. Said they we're waiting for black lug nuts. Went to pick up the car, and they didn't have black lug nuts on.... Which I paid extra for. Drove home (20 min away), then got on the highway and steering wheel was shaking at 65mpr... DON'T GET YOUR TRUCK WORKED ON HERE! Where do I start. I got a lift installed here a few years ago. Loved it, thought it was great, decided to upgrade my truck and get a bigger 6.5 inch lift put on. When they were installing the new lift they noticed that the bolts on the upper control arms were completely damaged and not safe to reinstall onto the truck,and whatever shop installed it over torqued them causing them to be completely unusable. Once I had informed them that they were the shop that had installed the lift, (they even posted pictures of my truck on their facebook page when they installed the original lift), they immediately changed their story and said the damage was caused due to wear and tear. In order to get my truck back, I had to pay for new upper control arms, which I was fine with paying that fee because I needed my truck back and didn't want it sitting on their lift for at least a week and a half waiting on those bolts. On top of that they wanted to charge me the installation fee due to an error that was caused by them. I tried to reason with them and communicate how I do not feel like I should have covered the cost of a bad installation done by their shop. They offered me a small discount but that was the most they were willing to do. To top it off, I had brought some wheel spacer for them to install on the rear wheels in order to even out the front and rear tires due to the new lift, and they never installed them! They kept them! The only reason I had got them back was because I noticed they were missing. When I called them about it they said you can come by the shop and pick them up. I didn't even get an apology for not installing them or keeping them, and now i had to waist more of my time to go pick up something they never installed THE BEST PART.... NO PUN INTENDED. When I asked why the spacers weren't installed, the experienced mechanic, that "didn't" over torque my original bolts, said it was because the truck didn't look like they needed it, and the fronts were wide enough. THESE SPACERS WERE FOR THE BACK OF THE TRUCK. (my wheels are only 10 wides..) ANYWAYS, this was a great 4wheelparts experience. I'll never be back. read more

They told me they are aligned and balanced my truck I took it to another shop to check and the other shop told me that the tires could not be balanced because they were defective and the alignment was out. They said their solution was that I purchase another set of tires from them that there is no warranty on them. read more
