It's good but they put enough meat

They are rationing and all meat and they charge me $60 for a a plate of rice and the 10 pieces of meat

Salmon with fried rice and veggies.

Not sure what happened, but this place used to be a lot better. Today, not so good. The fried rice and veggies were good, but the almost paper-thin slice of salmon tasted old and not fresh. I won't be ordering from here again.

If I can give 0 stars I would, LAST time I order from here. I stopped by around 11:30 they had a few customers waiting & as I was also waiting I noticed a customer complained about a missing plate the staffed looked very confused & were saying to one another "I'm working on this" I realized there was another man waiting for his order & his order # was way ahead of what was being served & the server herself looked confused on why his order wasn't out yet when he asked. When I got home & was ready to feed my kids I realized the plate I was given was NOT what I paid for. $40 for a wrong meal? I get it, it's late night but customer service is key TO ANY BUSINESS. I called multiple times & then I realized they were declining my call due to the fact that they were already closed. THANKFULLY I live near by so I was able to catch them & when I got there they were confused but knew what was wrong because they had "an extra plate" left over. & ofc they would offer but why offer something the customer NEVER asked for? & one of the staff members had the audacity to say "that was you" sarcastically laughing when I mentioned I kept calling & no one answered!!! & look about the portion of chicken & rice given for $40 INSANE!

I can't believe all of the bad reviews.. I live right down the street & always order over the phone it's ready in about 15 mins at the most. For everyone complaining about the wait, pick your phone up and call ahead? Food here is bomb. It's always still hot when you take it to go. Veggies are my favorite along with the rice. This is one of the best food trucks I've ever been to hands down. Pricy sure but this isn't something I eat everyday so I don't mind. Good spot (:

Is old lobster salty and disgusting

We order from 405 Teppanyaki all the time, but this time we had a horrible experience and will never order from them again. Here is what happen!! We ordered 10 plates and payed almost $ 400, five of the plates had lobster in them, the lobster was horribly salty old and looked like throw up. I called to let them know, the supervisor was very rude, he did not even want to here me out,did not even sound like he cared that a customer is upset that they gave her old seafood, which can be very harmful for a person. Beware their seafood is old and harmful !!!

2 trucks in one spot! You know they're hustling!

Over priced. Long wait. Not worth $30. The plates they show on Instagram are not the same as what they actually serve you.

Our server, Katrina, was incredibly kind, attentive, and on top of everything. My Diet Coke was never empty, which is always a sign of great service. Food Highlights Garlic Noodles with Lobster This was my favorite dish of the night. The noodles were rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. They were sweeter than I expected, but still really, really good. The lobster was tender and added a great contrast to the sauce. Seabass A small plate but a standout. The fish was cooked perfectly and had a clean, delicate flavor. It paired well with everything else we ordered. Lobster Wagyu A fun, indulgent dish. The wagyu was rich and melt‑in‑your‑mouth, and the lobster added a nice texture contrast. Definitely a premium bite. Tuna Crispy Rice Crispy rice is always a crowd favorite, and Taisho's version is excellent. The rice had the perfect crunch and the tuna was fresh and flavorful. Nigiri Chef's Choice (2 orders) These were beautifully prepared and a great way to sample a variety of fish. Clean cuts, fresh flavor, and well‑seasoned rice. A solid choice if you want variety. Overall Taisho delivered a great meal with standout service. Katrina made the experience feel easy and enjoyable, and every dish we tried had something memorable about it. We'll definitely be back.

Great find here, nice little sushi restaurant right off Sepulveda, just North of Ventura…read more The sushi here is tasty, tasted fresh, lots of variety. Sushi, Bentos, appetizers, etc. The place is not large inside, but you can sit at one of their tables or at the sushi bar as well. They are open from 12-2:30 for the lunch crowd and then again later for dinner. We got a ton of things, my receipt was too long, had to fold it over for the picture. Started with some spicy edamame's and shishito peppers, cooked perfectly. Miso soup, salmon, spicy tuna, spicy scallop, white fish, veggie tempura, a BSC roll, unagi, baked crab and California rolls. Enjoyed everything very much except for the baked crab roll, it was ok, but not my favorite and I would not order again. Everything else I would get again. There are a few spaces in front on Sepulveda, but you should park in the back in the large parking lot that they have. The lot is not free, just an FYI. Staff was really nice and took care of us well. Their prices are not bad for sushi, more reasonable than others, but the sushi is still high grade and very good. Keep the prices reasonable, provide great service and provide high quality tasty food is a recipe to keep your customers coming back. Each plate looked like a piece of art--everything was neatly arranged, balanced in color, and visually inviting. The sushi itself was beautifully plated. The fish had a fresh, vibrant shine, and the cuts were clean and precise. Garnishes like such as microgreens, and wasabi were placed thoughtfully, not just for decoration but to complement the dish. Even the simplest rolls looked elegant, with tight, uniform shapes and a nice contrast between ingredients. Overall, Sushi Zen Toro delivers both in flavor and presentation. The Yuzu Hirame was too creamy & weird for me, but again, my hubby liked it. I grew up with boring plain sashimi so I guess my palate is old LOL. Chicken teri lunch was a good portion & my husband enjoyed his sashimi lunch. The one downside was the miso soup. Guys, if this is an upscale restaurant you gotta COOK your miso soup. As a Japanese raised in Japan I was shocked to get re-heated soup with cold tofu & instant seaweed. I mean, what? Come on. Let's COOK all the ingredients. And no "grow-in-the-water" seaweed. Let's get the real stuff.

I arrived ahead of everyone to secure a table, and even on a weekday the wait is 30 minutes - I guess no matter what day and time you come, there is always a wait. Since it was my first time here, my daughter took the lead and ordered the Trust Me for me. And trust me, it lives up to the name. The fish was fresh, flavors were very good, and I was so full I even handed off my last roll to my daughter. The only downside - inside is loud, you can't have a nice conversation, and I just wish the tables were spaced out more for comfort. So selfish of me to wish huh. It was a good dinner experience. The sashimi looked like it was the remnants of the sushi and rolls and had scales in it! YUCK!The cut rolls were tasteless and almost had a fishy smell, not a good thing. The actual sushi pieces were put together sloppily and just didn't taste 'right'. We kind of started feeling a little sick, all three of us, before even saying anything to each other and then all stopped eating since we all had the same experience.
