Ok so here's the deal. I've been wanting to come here forever. I follow them on IG and I'm constantly salivating at their combo plates. Their food is 5 stars. The fact that their combo (chicken, steak and shrimp) plate is $40, $25 extra then a regular plate is INSANE and I knocked off a couple of stars. I didn't know the prices but figured they were around $15/20. I thought it might be an additional $5 or $10 for a combo, not $25 extra when it's not even that much more food. My little girl was sleeping in the car so my husband ordered and paid and thought it was a lot but assumed I knew how much it was and unfortunately I didn't. That's my fault. Now I would have checked with whoever wanted it to make sure if they're okay paying $40 for a combo plate or just want to pay $15 for a regular plate, but he didn't and it sucked because I didn't know until it was too late and it's not like I could change it. Lesson learned. I would gladly come back and pay $15 for a regular plate. It's good and it's worth it. $40 for the combo is not worth it. I'd rather go to Benihana for that price. read more

Their dishes are comparable to eating at a Benihaha style teppanyaki spot. Their fried rice with the garlic butter is something I actually have cravings for that demand that specific flavor pairing lol. Their quality of meat for the filet and lobster seafood is on the better side. It can all taste a bit on the salty greasier side, but that's kind of what you crave. Especially if you medicate before you enjoy a bowl, it's outstanding haha. The chefs have been doing a pretty solid job of keeping it "medium rare" as I had requested all the times I've gone. So shouts to them! The service is always friendly & efficient. Super nice staff in the truck that handle the turn around fairly well. I've had to wait like 30-40min for my order before on busy nights. Be sure to call ahead to place the pick up order to get an ETA on when to be there and see if it's a packed night or you caught a lucky slow period heh. This truck has become a fan favorite of mine that whenever I remember it exists, I have to go and order some within the next couple of days. I crave their flavoring that much! read more

Very expensive , food is not great for the price, to expensive for what it is , ordered yakisoba with lobster and got very small pieces of lobster almost nothing at all , definitley not going back . Today is the 2nd time I go and order food and while I was waiting on my order these messed up on an order put in the back where they bag the food. I was watching them for a lil over 30 mins and when It was turn to get my food made they used the one that they had messed up on and was sitting there for over 5 mins so it was cold. Who are these deprived people that obviously never had good food growing up and not cultured enough to even recognize this food falls even below mall food court's Japanese teriyaki level. This is the WORST truck food I ever had, not to mention DISORGANIZED and the portions are pathetic (but after tasting the trash they call food, that's enough). I waited over 45min. Meanwhile a lady came back to tell them they got her order wrong (got 1 plate when she ordered 2). Then #68 got his food before me (#56)!! I even asked one of the owners if my food was almost ready & without even checking he told me it was on the way. After #68 got his food, I asked again at which point I saw about 6 people confused in the truck, from the cashier to the girl to the 2 brothers (owners) and the cooks, looking for my ticket and my food. Then I see them transferring food from one dish to another (about 6 dishes) because they're SO DISORGANIZED & messed up on multiple orders. They also fill the plate (divided in 3 sections, 1 large section for main dish & 2 small section for sides) in a very SHADY way. Instead of filling the large section w/ rice & meat, they use small section and part of the large section for rice so that they can give you less portion with the divider in the middle. What in the world!?! Barely any chicken & the food was just NASTY!!! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, MONEY & PATIENCE!! If you eat here, clearly you know NOTHING about food. I'll never go here again something has changed management or staff the last two times I ordered with they tell you how long it gona take and it's always off by a lot this last time I had people waiting I ordered they told me 30 mins I got their 40 min after they said I have to wait another 25 min lol I asked for a refund and will never go back and will tell all my friend the same who ever I recommend their. Ok look this place is Bomb.com!!!!!! Every time I go it's soo great and super packed, but worth it. You can even order in advance to save you some time. Besttttttt Benihana's truck I've tried but the prices have chnaged drastically over the months. Usually go with my boyfriend and pay around almost 50$ but this time I paid 65$ and I was sort of confused but oh well. Ummm... SOOOO GOOD! Wow. Just lower your windows and smell the deliciousness from their food truck! Excellent service. Great food and great prices. I loved the food so much, fried rice was so amazing, everything was so tasty. Too much broccoli for me but other than that, amazing! It takes a while if you're ordering when you get there, so I would suggest people phone in their order so they don't have to wait so long (20min if not too busy)! I love this place, food is great. However, although prices are fair, they need to figure out how to provide the customer the option of adding additional proteins without charging for a full plate. For example, I got a filet mignon plate and wanted to add scallops...total came out to $32 ($15 filet plate + $2 for fried rice + $15 for the scallops) So in order to get an additional entree, I would need to pay for a full plate but only will receive the protein and not the extra rice and veggies....how does that make sense...idk....definitely need to change this. Also just because its 30 mins before closing, food should be the same consistency and quality as if I was ordering mid hours...didn't like that my veggies were undercooked. Aside from that, I am pleased and will definetely be back, however you want me to spend more, fix the pricing lol. Every time my girl and I don't know what to eat we always end up coming here, it has never disappointed, I will say if you're in a hurry make sure you order in advance. If you like Benihana, then you are most likely to enjoy 405. Especially with the prices being so low,( compared to other places) and I always recommend to get some fried rice ‼ read more

OVERRATED, OVERPRICED. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Waited 5 minutes in line when there was no one in line . The guys inside were having a convo so they couldn't take my order ? 15$ for a chicken bowl? Food was okay nothing special for 15$(could of got yoshinoya for half the price) . By the way I was told my food was going to be ready in around 30 min after I paid even though no other customers were there. Cool I understand it's made "fresh". So I asked for my money back right away, Since I was in a rush and didn't know it was going to take that long. Not a good first time experience. They do not take the orders on time and they skipped my order and had finished the other orders ahead of time before I had received mine. Not only that order was taken wrong. Took over an hour to get the correct order. Very unfair on how they make the food here. I don't understand why the lady started to give attitude when she made the mistake. Overall food was good but customer service sucked!! I see lots of reviews about pricing, protein portions, etc., which are pretty spot on because this food truck has been hyped up. My concern after trying this food truck for the first time has to do with hygiene and flying insects. I did a mobile order, considering that would speed up the process, then I arrived at the location, found my way to the correct truck to inform them I had arrived and I looked around at what I would consider a 'gnat infestation', which grossed me out immediately and I wanted to run right then and there. Then as I waited the 20 or so additional minutes for my order, I looked inside the truck at the chefs and I am not sure If many people think this way, but as the chef was cooking the proteins, I noticed his arms were drenched in sweat and he was not wearing any gloves. No gloves, not even attempting to dry off his arms, all I could imagine is someone's sweat dripping into my food. I probably won't be trying this food truck again read more
