First time trying and I would recommend! My order arrived early and correct - bravo ! The medium spice level was as advertised and the portion size more than adequate . Ingredients tasted fresh and my request for silverware was honored !

Wow what a hidden gem! The quality, price and quickness is outstanding! You get to choose all the items you want from the bar then the guy cooks it on this stove for you!! So happy I found this place can't wait to come back!

I have one feeling after my experience here and it's regret. Clearly, this place has deteriorated A LOT. It's nothing like the juicy photos available on the page anymore. No teriyaki chicken, no burger, no Styrofoam containers and no smiles. It's costly for what you get and nothing like the reviews from a few months back (even back in Dec 2024). This page has been recommended to me for so many months, I finally decided to take some time and try it out. Pictures, reviews from last year and the concept seemed really great, so I thought I'd go. There were a few warning signs from the handful of 1 star reviews that this place had deteriorated, but I was just hoping they were based off individuals who had unlucky experiences. Poor decision on my end for trying this place out anyways. Pros, this place has a huge parking lot. It's shared with a strip mall, but you can park there and walk right up to the store. Cons, everything else. It's pretty messy and dirty inside, and I almost wanted to walk out the moment I walked in. Then there's a menu that's outdated. The cook at the time just said, make yourself a plate by making two bowls because there's no point in looking at the options in the menu... That should have been my red flag. They have handwritten instructions on what to do. One bowl for meat and veggies and another for noodles. By the way, I was confused when I went because there were no meats. Like that meat section was bare clean. I also saw some previous photos of some fried rice, but that also wasn't an option for me. When I brought up my two bowls, he said, don't you want meat? I said, there was none... can I get chicken? Man brings out the blandest, driest chicken slices I've seen in a while. It's not like the chicken teriyaki you see in the photos anymore. That sad plate I got after he finished cooking turned out to be $17. Just not worth it. The plate was a plastic container that lets heat escape. It's actually hard to hold onto the container because it's like you're touching something that's freshly off a grill with your bare hands. Imagine having boiling coffee in a plastic water cup. Similar concept. They moved away from Styrofoam which makes very little sense to me. And the mess this things makes. Yikes! I asked for a to-go bag because I was not about to finish this as is or at the restaurant and the guy's almost resistant about giving me a bag. By the time I get home, I tossed as soon as possible because it had a puddle of liquid at the bottom enough to fill up a bottle of honey. The food tasted bad. I realized just how much I had to elevate the flavors to make it palatable and just how small the portions were (I didn't risk overfilling the bowls because there was a whole thing about an unquantified surcharge on there). I still felt disgusting after eating it. This place just isn't worth it. Maybe it had its glory days, but those days are clearly over.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. It's my first time trying and I'll be back for sure! I mean it's in the name, it tastes so fresh and delicious

As usual the food and service here is still very good. The owner came out to refill the meat and was so kind. He boxed up all of our food and smiled while he did everything. The place is casual and has ample seating indoors and outdoors. There's also a parking lot.

Plastic take out container broken, broken plastic all over...

The to go delivery containers are of such poor quality that one of our orders came with the entire bottom broken out and plastic pieces everywhere... not even sure if plastic may have melted...

food is always really delicious and spicy love being able to build your own bowl sometimes can get busy during the week but usually pretty mellow. I always like to do a combo of different meats but I really like all the choices

When you order chicken and get tofu!
    Tori M.

Just had a horrible experience. Did not get the food I ordered and they didn't care. So ordered chicken and it came with tofu which I don't like. I asked for bean sprouts and then asked for extra and got none! I phoned to tell them and they were like "sorry" and hung up on me. Terrible experience.

I even drove a bit out of my way to come here, only to find a "closed" sign on the door. I truly hope everything is okay with the owners and staff, but it was disappointing that there wasn't any notice or backup plan for unexpected closures. The reviews were good and the place was close by so we decided to give it a shot. Parking is no problem as it shares the same lot as the swap meet. But dont let the outside fool you, this place is top notch. Amy was our server and bear in mind we had a group of 15 peeps so handling all our drink orders and other things was quite a feat. Which she handled awesomely, she refilled our drinks and even provided me a lighter and knife for the cake we brought. She was very friendly and we were glad to have her as our server. Now on to the food, they have a wonderful selection here, you got all types of chicken, im talking about orange, teriyaki, and bbq. They got sushi and sashimi, they got crab legs galore and lobster as well. U got shumai, egg rolls, and tempura shrimp. Pizza, garlic bread, I meant to take pics of it all but was too bz chowing down lol. But honestly everything was fresh and the place had ample room for our large group. Heck they got their own boba AND coffee self serve stations, it doesnt get better than that. And a chocolate fountain to boot! We didnt get to hit up everything there since we came later but definitely coming back to try everything else. Great place for to take the fam if yall are super hungry.

I tried the fruit the watermelon and cantaloupe wasn't sweet, however, the honeydew was really yummy. They have a boba drink station I tried the passion tea it was good. My boyfriend tried their desserts he liked the three layer mouse cake. I wasn't aware the Restaurant in LA charge a 10% service fee when I saw it on the bill I immediately was going to question it however, I googled first and basically the restaurants have to post it before charging you. When we walked in we didn't notice the signs on the wall if you don't pay attention you will miss the notice as you walk in. The 10% is to help the owner offset gratuity and healthcare for the employees so you have no choice but to pay it even if you didn't see the posting on the wall. They also have a sign to say a tip is not required because of the service fee.

They "close" at 10:30 (the place was still hopping at 10) and we arrived at a little past 9:00, figuring at that hour we wouldn't need a reservation. Think again, the place was just one click shy of a madhouse. The bar was lively and the tables were occupied mostly by 20-30 somethings in crocks and belly shirts, jabbing food in the mini fire pits and shoveling it in their mouths with the authority of hungry guard dogs. We had to wait 10 minutes or so, for a table and another 7 or so for our server to appear. It gave us a chance to peruse the menus. Yes, menus, plural. There are three laminated ones and a book with pages. Given how extensive the food menus are, the drink menu was a little unimpressive. The sake list had a few things listed, not including a Nigori. The white wine had two, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. We like Sauvignon Blancs but ordered the Pinot Grigio. Mezza Corona. That's what casinos comp pour at the slots in Vegas. It was fine, but not optimum. Overwhelmed by the menus and not particularly craving one thing, we decided to order the "Anniversary" dinner for two. It was a set combination of mostly proteins with the house salad and miso soup. The "poke" wasn't the usual gooey stuff seen in most raw places. It was perfect little cubes of ahi and marinated onions over a bed of pickled seaweed. The salad was large and simple, with a sesame dressing. Then... omg the proteins started to appear. Every single one was delicious. We found that putting the pork belly on the grill helped to keep the following proteins from sticking. The rice was beautifully steamed. The miso soup was even the best I've had in a long time, with lots of tofu and seaweed sinking to the bottom. I can see how this would be a great place for a group, and I can't wait to go with more friends; albeit my husband and I really enjoyed the respite. Our server, Cole, was cool and real. He didn't seem to need to pretend to be nice. He was just a sincere, caring young man. Their happy hour times are worth noting. They're happy throughout the day and night with the exception of 6:30 - 8:30 pm. There is a happy hour combination menu you might want to consider, especially if you've never been here and just want to see what's going on. There are AYCE choices which might come in handy if you're really into some favorites. There's also a big thing about Wagyu. Eh. Different strokes I guess. We'll definitely be back. We really enjoyed the experience. We reduced one star for the silly valet parking and the not-so-great wine list.

Not a fabulous place for nice dining. If you just want something casual, you don't care how it looks OK there's plenty of seeing but the restaurant looks like a storage room from the front door all the way to the back door. This is how it looks. 4. The three rice options were white rice, fried rice and brown rice. I opted for a fried rice and then when I saw it it looks like brown rice. Also looks like white rice did not look like what traditionally you think. Fried rice would be when I inquired about it. He said oh it's just white rice with egg you will see from my pictures.
