I stayed next door at the Strat. I saw the $5 sign there at this restaurant. There is a mini casino here and bar with cheap drinks. Cust. Service from my Asian waitress was great. She came around right away after I moved tables. Then she came back a few mins later during my meal. They were not that packed. The bus/ Waiter did not say nothing. He could be a recent immigrant , no personality. But he gave me menu before I sat down. I always wanted to check out this restaurant. Before Cvid, they offered more Menu items for $5. Now only the basic two eggs, one meat choice like ham, sausage or fried hash brown pattie (might be frozen type, I don't know). If you wanted fried home potatoes, waffle, pancakes or extra ham, it's extra. The ham was salty but had griddle marks on it. So it was great. I don't like too salty. They are generous with giving me two grape jams and 3 pat of butters. I will take the butter with me for my next breakfast at my next stay in Nola. I asked for foil and mayo to make a ham sando with the one piece I did not eat. The cashier, mgr (maybe) came by to take my money but I was not ready. Others just paid at the cashier. I think mainly locals play and drink here. The slots are basic old machines. No fancy video slots. You can go next door. Don't expect a fancy venue here. It's a small restaurant and not good for groups more than 6. No wait time too! This place is really basic and they serve food on plastic plates and plastic forks. It's good if you are concerned with Cvid. But then there is not much room to social distance. There was a fly flying around. But you will see that at any patio restaurant too. The front doors are left open. The music here is loud too . If you like a lively atmosphere, come here. There were no babies or young kids here too since it's a casino. Happy Hr prices all the time too. $3 Draft beer, $5 Well drinks. I don't drink so too bad. They don't comp drinks if you play slots. But I don't know since I did not bother to play. This location as far as food went, was a let down for me. When I think and picture Pho. This was not what my taste buds had in store. Nothing at all about this soup was authentic or even close to. But because it was something warm to eat for a cold Las Vegas night. I think I ate less than half of my order and just left the rest. Our server was sweet. This is a little small spot located in one of the smallest casinos on the strip and was open pretty late. There were some other food options as well and they serve breakfast. This place is open during covid19 and I love it! I have frequented this "restaurant" for years and the food is OUTSTANDING. I always order from the Thai menu. I get the Thai salad, green curry, and basil chili and mint with rice. The prices are cheap. This restaurant is in an old vegas hotel called the Aztec next door to the stratosphere. It looks like a seedy dumpy home in the wall. I am sure it was fun back in the day as it is in the part of Vegas known as old Vegas. Its actually small and quaint and quite adorable. The food is the best you will find in Vegas at a good price. The food is better than most of the hot high end casinos food. I love this place. So happy its open during covid19. You won't be disappointed. Right now the menu is slightly limited but still many good choices. They take cash or debit card only. NO CREDIT CARDS! I decided I wanted to have a cheap breakfast and ended up at this restaurant. One of the reviews said the chicken and waffles were great and that couldn't be the furthest from the truth. The waffle was good but the chicken wings were disgusting, I tried dipping them in the hot sauce to see if that would help but NOPE! I'm not sure if it was the blandness that made them taste so bad but it was definitely a NO for me. All their food is served on paper plates which I wasn't upset about but it was still weird. The place also looks really sketchy. When someone says a hole in the wall restaurant they are talking about this place. Food was excellent! We ordered breakfast only. The spinach and feta omelet was delicious! I requested bacon to be added to the omelet. It came out fluffy, the spinach was fresh, the feta cheese was extraordinary. The Philly Cheese Omelet was creamy, perfect "Philly steak", and again a truly fluffy omelet. The potatoes for breakfast are made with tasty olive oil and seasoned perfectly. The reason this is all amazing is the place is in the lower end Aztec Casino, food served on paper plates, and the really sweet staff keeps moving about to assure you are taken care of.
