    Chicken and shrimp Alfredo

The bar tender was unfriendly. She was an older lady and it seemed like a problem because I had to ask for silverware and napkins. I paid for extra sauce and didn't receive it. My meal was dry and my orders totaled $61.00. I just left there. Not going back again.

To save time for togo call and place your order, I have also ordered through the website. When I want some good red snapper this my go to restaurant. It's one huge piece of fish and cooked to perfection. I have also went here for a girls night out, we had drinks only at that time and everything is so good here. The drinks are amazing.

Unless you're eating in, and maybe then you should still probably call ahead. The wait my friends and I had for our food was long. But the wait was worth it. The prices are reasonable. For the amount of food served, the price is worth it. The food was amazing, highly recommend. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the pasta was not overly cooked, and there was just the right amount of cheese to go with it. I was able to easily break apart the chicken with a fork and pair it up with the pasta. There is a bar too and the bartenders are friendly and attentive for the most part. It's a large bar and I believe they were playing music on the side opposite from us.

I order my food over the phone always and the lady who answers is always very nice. I've ordered chicken Alfredo 2 times in a row back to back(in 24 hours) and It was so good ! My Alfredo was more saucy the first time though. Maybe need to be a little more consistent on how saucy the orders are , but I'm still not complaining both were delicious! This time i ordered the salmon Alfredo and It was none the less amazing as well.

We went here after church for Father's day. I have mixed reviews about this place.... So it took a very long time to get menus, then to order our drinks/food, as well as getting our food. The reason being that there was only one waitress and she was also the bartender. She was very nice and friendly but everything we requested took so long for us to receive. Even though we had an extremely long wait the music was playing was awesome! I even said to my family that I need their playlist for my Spotify. OH and we also ran into Wayne Dawson while we were there! The food took so long to get to our table, that I was so hungry and started eating right away before I could even take pictures!!!! I am so bummed by this. When we finally received our food, everything was so good!!!! My mom order some turkey ribs and she kept commenting of how good they were. Since I don't eat meat, I had to order all sides. I had asparagus, fried mushrooms, some of my mom's sweet potato fries, and a side salad. The sides filled me up and were very tasty. After we order our food and right before it came out, my sister and I order some adult beverages thinking it would come at the same time as our food... Nope.... We had to cancel our drink order because we were getting ready to leave. Even though we had to wait a LONG time for our food- everyone who were in my party enjoyed every bite of it. I highly suggest if you are going to eat at this place is to call ahead, watch a movie or do some shopping before you come and pick up your food. Oh and it is pretty pricey as well.

After browsing a few places on Yelp to go to the night before Memorial Day I actually found a spot that was open. There wasnt many people inside when i got inside so i sat at the bar and ordered a bourbon on the rocks. Not sure what kinda bourbon it was but it was 9 Dollars. I probably shouldve specified I wanted well liquor. The drink was good tho so I cant complain. While I was there I decided to get something to eat and kept it simple and got the wings and fries . It didnt take long for the food to come out but when it did mannnn it looked good. A mountain of fries and some real chicken wings, no wingettes. I couldn't even eat them all, had to ask for a To-go tray. I had a nice experience here. Would check it out again when in town.

They always take extremely too long to produce the food! I don't like that so I really don't eat here!

Great food! I had the Tilapia and Chicken Alfredo. Not stingy with the portions of food. Took a little long but was worth the wait.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the teriyaki wings and they were really good ( just ask for sauce in the side cause it's thin and you will need more). I ordered a side of kimchi as I never had it and wanted to try it...delicious. It through me off being cold, but I guess that's how it's supposed to be served. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at Golden Tavern…read more My coworkers and I have patronized both Golden Tavern and the China Sea restaurant/bar owned by the same owner on multiple occasions. We have even hosted at least two company events there in the past. Despite consistently slow service and other issues, we continued to support the business. Unfortunately, this latest experience has ensured that we will not be returning. The issue began when I noticed I was being charged $8 for a margarita, an additional $6 for an extra shot, and a further $3 upcharge for top-shelf liquor. The alcohol I ordered was 1800 Tequila, which is generally considered a lower-tier tequila, so I questioned the upcharge. When I spoke with the owner, she initially responded by saying, "This is a business," but then indicated that she would adjust the bill. However, after I walked away, she sent her daughter to inform me that she had changed her mind and would not be adjusting the bill after all. Had she simply been upfront and honest from the beginning, we likely would have accepted the decision and continued our evening. Instead, she chose to avoid the conversation entirely. When I asked to speak with her again, she remained in the back and would not come out to address the issue directly. To make matters worse, I later overheard her speaking negatively about me to an employee, apparently believing I could not hear the conversation. This situation was never really about the $3. It was about honesty, professionalism, and customer service. The way this was handled was disrespectful and disappointing, especially considering the amount of business our group has brought to these establishments over the years. Customer loyalty is earned through transparency and respect. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated a complete lack of both. As a result, neither I nor my coworkers will be returning, and future company gatherings will be held elsewhere.

My bartender Antonio was incredibly knowledgeable and had amazing recommendations before I even had to ask. I started with the fried lobster ravioli, and he suggested dipping it in the Tuscan sauce. That recommendation alone deserves five stars because... wow. It was absolutely incredible. For my entrée, I had the strawberry steak salad and it was cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I'm also very picky about my lemon drops because I make a pretty great one myself, but they absolutely nailed it. Then I ordered an espresso martini simply because I trusted the bartender's recommendations by that point. I'm usually not a fan of the creamier style, but this one came with a chocolate-covered pretzel rim and I was sold. It ended up being one of the best espresso martinis I've had. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I found out they have live music on Wednesdays and a $25 T-bone special on Thursdays. Safe to say I'll be back... probably sooner rather than later!

Off the top maybe 5-6 tables and a bar that holds 10-12 people if I was guessing. Multiple TVs playing all sports. Keno, Jukebox also available. Nice neighborhood bar. Staff were very friendly even though they were busy. As for the food, I ordered mozzarella sticks, a hot Italian sub with tater tots. The cheese sticks were bad. Tiny, lukewarm and not much flavoring. Marinara dipping sauce was bland as well. Now for the sub. Unreal Italian Sub. The tots were crispy and salted. The sub was AMAZING... repeat AMAZING. Served with Italian dressing, on a toasted roll. Banana peppers, onion, tomato, with multiple meats and cheeses. Definitely a bar favorite as I saw many people eating the same dish. It's worth a visit or a try if you're in the area. The big positive of this place was the prices. $2.50 a beer and $10 for that sub. My tab was low so that's always a good thing. I would go back to this place however it might be tough sometimes if the bar gets pizza. In the plaza it sits next to a pizza place that I was told you can order the pizza from the bar and they have a window to slide the food through. I didn't try the pizza so I won't review that place. Overall, a 7.1 out of 10 with everything included.
