The guy behind the desk told me to wait while he took the car around back saying they would take a look at it. Ten minutes later he was back with the bolt tightened. When I asked what I owed he said nothing. I am not suggesting that people go to Denver Auto Body and Paint because they do free work. Instead I am suggesting that people go there because they are fast and fair.

The repairs themselves seem fine. I would never use them again because of my experience with the front office. I scheduled the repairs so I would have the truck back when we needed to move things over Memorial Day. "No problem," they said, and also said they had no problems working with State Farm. The truck was not ready when promised. When they finally said it was ready a week later, and I went to pick it up, they told me I couldn't have it because State Farm hadn't paid the supplement they had just submitted to the insurer. The only way I could get our vehicle was to pay the full amount of their demand, in cash, that day. I was coerced into fronting more money while they supposedly worked things out with the insurer. We needed our truck. Needless to say that claims process didn't go well either. I picked up the truck in early June. They submitted two or three more supplements to State Farm in June and July and then August--I'm a little hazy on the timing because I had to call State Farm each time and help them find the supplements because the shop could never manage to submit them properly. (State Farm has been very helpful through all this, by the way.) State Farm did process the supplements submitted long after the work was done--they even paid for one even though Denver Auto only did the work AFTER they had billed us, and after I had paid the full bill. (I had to take the truck back for paint work they didn't disclose at the time.) Our insurer refused to pay the final shop supplement, only processed in August, because their expert says that body panel didn't need to be removed in the first place. I'm apparently out that extra cost, above our deductible. I assume most of these billing issues and disputes come from incompetence, though who knows what games these people play. I do NOT recommend Denver Auto Body.

I cannot overstate how much you should NOT consider CDM for repair jobs. I came in with a dent in a…read morerear quarter panel. The dent was decent in size, but I knew for a fact that it was a PDR job. I knew this because I'd taken the car in to other body shops for estimates and was shopping around for the best deal. CDM sent an ABSURDLY inflated quote of almost $3,500 including blending the read door, blending the aperture panel, overhauling and/or removing unrelated trim and bumper components, etc. Look, I get it. Repair work isn't cheap and it's not unusual for shops to pad estimates if insurance is paying (it wasn't in this case and I was paying out of pocket). I wrote back giving them an opportunity to provide a revised, honest estimate given that I already knew this was a PDR job. They sent back a laughable revision, only decreasing the price by $500 to a whopping $3,000. Here's the kicker. I had my lease financing company do a pre-return inspection and estimate. This is the entity with the biggest motivation for a like-new repair job. Their estimate for ALL excess wear and tear including the dent and some other dings and scratches was $550 total. Bottom line: CDM tried to overcharge me by $3,000. They're predatory and should avoided at all costs.

Well if you have a black car they're on the judgmental side. I'll get back to that…read more First off, there's nowhere to park. You circle around confused. Where do I put this vehicle? Once you find something, you're probably late for your appointment. Then, you will get greeted by an attractive female who... I can't say, but something's definitely off, guys. My car evidently was an issue for being black. She kept saying "your car is black so I can't see the hail damage" whilst she uses tools right in front of me for being able to see the actual hail damage. Then, after being rude about the color of my car she says that she will not send me a quote in writing, which is what I needed. Listen, if it ain't in writing it never happened, yet as a business she refused. Definite no-go and shady from my personal experience.

If the accident didn't lower your car's value, taking it to Caliber Collision will make sure of it…read more - I wouldn't trust Caliber Park Hill to repair a rental car. The quality control at Caliber is horrible to non-existent. Nobody seems to check anyone else's work and all they do is deny and deflect when you point out an error. After 3+ weeks at Caliber the vehicle was returned with the bumper installed incorrectly. It was lopsided-hanging an inch lower on one side and skewed to the left so bad that it stuck out about an inch beyond the fender on one side while being recessed on the other. It was very clear that no one had even bothered to check the vehicle after it was reassembled. When the mistakes were pointed out, both the Estimator and General Manager (ParkHill, CO Location) tried to claim that that was the way the truck is. They kept talking about how old the truck is "It is 25 years old." After refusing to accept the vehicle as is was, they were eventually able to get the bumper set properly. So maybe, it wasn't the truck's age after all. After the accident, there was no visible damage to the body paint of the 4Runner. The only visible damage was to the front bumper with no damage to driver side fender or door. Yet Caliber decided to paint the fender. After that I was told they needed to paint / clear coat the door so that it matched / blended correctly. - Never mind the fact that we were chared extra for a specific paint match that obviously didn't. No one bothered to prep the door properly and now the paint on the door has pits in it. They also removed the driver's side mirror to paint the door and when they reinstalled the mirror, it no longer adjusts correctly. The mirror worked fine before Caliber ever laid hands on it. When asked to correct the mirror the General Manager, Jared Mossner stated that they won't fix it because the motor inside is old. If you break it, you fix it. My mistake was ever bringing this vehicle to them in the first place. I had always been told by neighbors that Caliber Collision was way overpriced. What I didn't know is that the expense doesn't seem to pay for quality control. If you bring a vehicle here to be repaired, especially if it's more than 15 years old, you will only have yourself to blame.
