Great steaks, great service, and I love the atmosphere. We come here once a month. However, I come here for a steak and a cold beer, and when I raise my mug to take a sip, all I smell is barnyard. The mugs and margarita chalices smell awful. A cold Modelo out of a stinky cup is not pleasant. This is not the first time, which is why I'm leaving a review. I brought it to the attention of the bartender last time, and this time the cups smell the same. I told the bartender and she pulled a fresh cup out of the washer, and it was also stinky. They are very efficient from when you walk in the door until you check out. It's genius that they grab your basket of hot rolls as they're seating you, so gives the waiters a minute to get over to you...win-win! The waiter, Jorge, was very attentive. A manager seated us and a different manager checked in on our experience. Very impressive, guys! We both enjoyed our meals. I got the steak kabobs, which are served on a bed of seasoned rice. We shared the buffalo wings as an appetizer. They were ok, kinda soggy. Also, we shared a country vegetable plate with salad, corn, chili and fries. All those were solid! Waited for the drinks and rolls after being asked 3 times, they were finally brought to the table. After the main course. We ordered the prime rib, and was told it couldn't be medium rare. Odd. Oh well, medium is fine. It arrived more like medium well. A little more salty than usual, and not nearly as tender as I would expect from Prime Rib. Overall it was a decent meal, but the worst we've had from this location. Disappointing that the quality this particular visit was so far below the usual standard. Hoping it was an off night, otherwise, we will be looking for a new place to eat in the future. Rating a 4 star because as many times as we have come here it's usually really good. If I was rating just this particular visit I'd be giving it a 2.5, as in, it was ok but I probably wouldn't come again. read more

One of the best dining experiences we have had in a very long time. Our waiter, Josh, was amazing and was very attentive. Anything we needed was brought to us before we could even think to ask for it. I was on a girls trip in San Antonio with 3 of my Travcon friends & Ashley had a friend who we had plans to meet up here & have dinner with her. First, I must say our waitress was the BOMB!! Haley was her name & she was AWESOME & fun!! Super friendly with a great personality. She definitely loves working here & enjoys her job. We came in on 05/20/2024 around 8pm. I usually get the filet when I'm @ a Texas Roadhouse but went with the chicken critter dinner instead. It was very tasty. The chicken was nice & moist and not dried out which can happen @ restaurants. I got a loaded baked potato (a favorite) along with a soda water & tito's and vodka. As a large chain, the food and service is ALWAYS consistently delicious and friendly. My son has a severe peanut allergy and we always came when he was away for the weekend. When the manager came up to check on how everything was, we told him how we come without him. He stated that if we came during the weekday when they opened for an early dinner, they would be able to wipe down the benches and table for him. They removed the peanuts and can. We as a family was able to enjoy prime rib and he a nice ribeye for dinner with the unlimited bread. Coming with your nut allergy child is all based upon your comfort level. read more

Well howdy buckaroos! I'm here to tell you about the Texas Roadhouse! I see that it's booming there! I'm happy for the jobs, economy etc. Leon Springs needed it and Boerne really needs it! Any who, our waiter, Sterling was friendly and brought everything we could want or need! I had the Cobb salad with fried tenders and honey mustard that tasted homemade! I really enjoyed it ! Atmosphere was country hillbilly but I can definitely celebrate my love for Texas there! Music is loud and the kids gossip. Ignore that part! This review is for a carryout order. The convenience of ordering to-go just made this meal all the more better. My steak was well-prepared and the rice seasoned just right. However, the salad was a little limp. Although I don't eat a lot of bread, the rolls and butter here are totally worth the splurge. I love Texas Roadhouse in Nevada. It has amazing steak and service. We visited here in San Antonio for my birthday since I knew we could count on good food. I was wrong. we got our food to go, so maybe this is the reason? All three steaks were so tough we could not even finish them. My son's steak looked like it had been mauled. The biscuits were still the bomb, as well as the green beans and mac. But the steaks....wow. I just couldn't believe it. I am a Texas roadhouse fan and visit often went on travel for business. This was my first time at this location and it is one of the best I have seen. The staff is very enthusiastic, I said at the bar and the bartenders were great. The weight line moved quickly and the food was all cooked to my liking. I got the 16 ounce prime rib which was delicious. The rattlesnake bites are my favorite appetizer and these were done right. Beer was cold. This is the newer Texas Roadhouse in the Metroplex in the area of Dominion going towards Boerne. Great location! As is it is newer, the inside is very clean. The service was exclellent. We had 0 minutes wait time when we arrived at around 4pm. The food, excellent as always. The service was also excellent. The area we were seated was to our liking (we do not like to sit in the bar area or near the restroom entrance). Our area was quieter which afforded us ample opportunity to enjoy our conversation over dinner. I am sure that meat costs have driven even credible places to lower grades of beef, and I realize that it's a $30 steak! but there are times when it is outstanding, and then times(more than just yesterday) where its not chewable...so its a crap shoot. I went to texas roadhouse on a friday night and boy was it busy. It was about a 45min wait but the staff were all nice and they even had lil samples to tease your tastebuds once you got "on deck" meaning you were closer to getting your table. The environment of texas roadhouse is always something to look forward to and the decor of the place is 10/10. Now to the main part, the food. the appetizers we got were fried pickles, the cactus blossom, and tater skins. the fried pickles were only a 7/10 they were really salty and not all the way fried through. Cactus blossom initially i gave a 10/10 but it goes cold pretty quickly and the colder it gets the nastier it becomes. it's just sooooo salty but i do think everyone should get it atleast once. Tater skins were 10/10. they were delicious and perfectly crisped up and were loaded. For my enteee i had gotten the porterhouse t-bone with my sides being mac n cheese and a ceaser salad. the salad was pretty good, tasted like any other salad and the mac n cheese was giving Kraft but it was still pretty good. The t-bone was a 10/10. the meat was cooked exactly how i wanted and it was just so juicy and flavorful. Smothering it in mushrooms and onions was a wonderful decision and worth every penny on the upgrade. the mushrooms really elevated the flavor of the t-bone. Overall i give texas roadhouse a 8/10. Definitely will be back again for some more tater skins and another steak all with excellent service. But to be so completely honest, just those rolls and that butter is enough to leave me craving roadhouse all the time. read more

it's always something with this location... if your party is 2 people the, "hosts" everytime want to put you either in the back of the restaurant in the smallest little booth, or they want to tuck you away by the restroom. if you politely ask to maybe have a different seat, these children look at you like you just asked to borrow $50,000 til next Friday. it boils down to this location having a bunch of kids there and they treat the job like it's a high school. u can hear these children gossip and complain, it's very unprofessional. they might as well bring out bread and undercooked steak on roller skates, and start selling slushes like a Sonic. The line i drew was last night. of course we get sat in the little 2 person booth by the rest room, whatever...we are in good spirits. But some fat kid who had been gossiping ALL night, talking next to us to all the other staff, laughing and giggling LOUDLY, comes and starts sweeping the booth across from us. this bum is hunched over next to us, on the FLOOR "sweeping" under the table, but he's using the broom like a claw AND HE STARTS KICKING ALL THE DUST AND JUNK FROM THE BOOTH ACROSS DAMN NEAR DIRECTLY ON MY FOOT IN OUR DIRECTION INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE FLOOR. THE BROOM IS ALMOST ON MY FOOT, ALMOST LIKE A BACKSWING IN BASEBALL. ZERO COMMON SENSE. THIS IS DISRESPECTFUL AND INCREDIBLY IGNORANT. YOU CAN SWEEP, NO PROBLEM. BUT YOU CANT SWEEP TRASH ON TO PEOPLE'S FEET ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY'RE WEARING EXPENSIVE SHOES. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE MID MEAL EATING A MEDIOCRE STEAK THAT COSTS $20+. I love, love, love Texas Roadhouse, we're never disappointed in this chain. This restaurant has been our go-to when we moved to SA, and although it is very loud in there, the ambiance is very nice! Everyone is very "chill" and down-to-earth, including the staff! Our servers have always been very friendly and attentive, as well as the manager who comes around and asks everyone if the orders and food are good!
