I bought a pair of Banana Republic pants online, and when I tried them on I looked like a DORK. I looked like a 10 year old wearing his dads pants. They fit in the waist but were about 6 inches too long on the bottom. I brought them into BR but they told me that as of last week, they charge for hemming. This actually pissed me off so much since I bought the pants before that rule went into effect, but whatever. I have been a LOYAL Banana customer too... There was NO chance I was giving BR anymore of my money, purely out of spite. I ended up taking them here, as it was the closest tailor to me. I walked into this hole in the wall tailor shop and immediately felt like I time traveled to the 1980s. Two guys just sitting there going HAM with their old school 2 sewing machines, the lines walled with clothes in plastic bags ready to be picked up and rolls of cloth for repairs. I was in here less than 3 minutes all together. I tried the pants on, he laughed, rolled them up and asked me "dis good?" YURP! I walked back and picked them up a day later, $25 cash. These guys saved the day!! Had a dress snafu 2 days before an event. Pivoted and managed to find a beautiful jumpsuit that needed tightening on top. Walked in, was told it'd be a lot of work because of the fabric etc but that he'd be able to have it for me in a few days. Told him I needed it done ASAP. My event was the next day. Not only did he get it done the next day, he had it ready for me to pick up hours before he initially told me. The jumpsuit fit perfectly and I absolutely cannot tell it has been altered.
