My brother who lives in the area told us to try this place for a change. We ordered and took it home. We had requested our burgers well done but to our surprise they weren't cooked very well. I was so hungry and looking forward to my burger. I decided to call because the staff should know when their grill men prepare meat incorrectly. I reported the problem and the management was quick to replace and deliver me a new burger. It came pretty fast and it was good. I would definitely give this place another chance. Waited almost 2 hours for them to deliver 2 bacon egg & cheeses. I called after waiting an hour and again at an hour and a half and they were nasty on the phone both times. The food finally showed up and it was ice cold. I will never be ordering from them again. read more

Ok so my girl ordered a salad for me and when she bought the "salad" home it was missing something very important, the lettuce and when I called the guy to tell him he answered the phone "57 all american grill we're closed" . So about $10 for a salad and no lettuce and the food nothing special about it. read more

I wish there was a 3.5 star because i would've definitely chosen that. This place over average and its food is great but... well lets get into it. Food The food is good but only if you choose right. Their Oreo milkshake is the best and its not even really food. Its creamy and thick and just amazin. Now, an American diner is supposed to make great burgers right? Well this place scores. Their burgers are big and juicy(thats what she said) and they are delicious. Be sure to expect a crapload of grease though. Also, they put way too much onions to my liking. If you order the 57s they put a whole circle of onions. Its got a diameter of 3 inches so they definitely don't skimp on onions. May i say that their fries are frozen, packaged and probably from stores? Yes, they are and I know because i say them open a bag of fries and dump it in the fryer. Their nachos are also not too good because if you order it with just cheese it makes a crust on the top. Its also not melted fully if you order cheese fries so aske more mozzerella. I also doubt its very fresh, as their gravy is more of a solid than liquid. The Inside The decor is amazing. There are booths with bright colors and guitars and posters of food and products from the 50s era. There are also seats in front of the kitchen so you can watch them make your food. In the front next to the door theres a garage door that they open in the summer. In the winter they close it up. Theres also great rock music if you're into that. Customer Service While its pretty good there has been an asshole waiter once. If you want to avoid him(and you probably can't) he looks 19 and has spiked hair, not with gel though. You might want to ask for another waiter if you're a 12 year old asian because thats where he attacks you. I was with my friends after school in this diner and he started telling my friend greek words that translated to "asian/chink" and "theres and asian sitting next to you". He also tried to make it better by saying "my girlfriend is asian". Yeah, fuck you asshole. I'm sure she just wants the $6 an hour you're making. I didn't see him anymore though and hes been replaced by very nice people. You should know that they get pissed if you ask for split checks. Price Its expensive if you're a student from the school across the street because cheese fries are about $4 before tax. They also add a 15% tip beforehand to me and my friends checks. This means cheese fries and a small portion of Coke would come down to $6.50-$7. Bottom line, its a lot. Well, if you want good burgers and shakes this is the place. Try their sandwiches and chili nachos if you've got good money. If you want an authentic 50s fell go there to get some food, you'll be surprised by how not so fresh can be so good. read more

Place was dead and the waitress was busy making sure one of the smart ass guys there was spending the night with her. Ordered Cobb Salad - came out on a plate, chicken was gross and looked like it had blood on it, had a dab of lettuce and was basically a mess. My girlfriend ordered a turkey burger and it was frozen. When waitress asked me if I liked I said no she didn't understand why - no one offered something else in it's place or to make it right. We have been ordering from them for 5 years. Has taken over and hour and 20 minutes for an order of pancakes and an egg wrap. Called up to see if they misplaced our order and they advised that they fill "their" orders first before grub hubs. For an establishment that is always empty when we walk past they were extraordinarily rude. If you want similar quality food and prices order from blazin burger instead. I have lived and worked in this area for over 20 years. When 57s first opened we were very excited to try it out--the decor was awesome and the food had great reviews. I must say, in the beginning things seemed good, but once business started getting low--it seems the morale went right out the door. I (my business) orders from this place anywhere from 2-3 times a week (breakfast/lunch...weve had it all). I have experienced MANY incorrect orders..and when they are correct, they don't seem up to par. The vegetables arent cooked well, fries have been cold and soggy, eggs dry, etc... For a struggling business, great management and dedication to your quality of food can always make things better. I have been rushed off the phone when placing orders (for delivery or pick up) only to receive an incorrect order and have to call and complain ! Come on 57s, if you want your company to continue being a part of this community as well as having us and others as returning and dedicated customers--u need to pick it up!!!! I must say that the food here is great. The first thing I ordered from here is the egg,sausage, home fries and toast platter, which was really good. Me and my husband enjoyed it especially the home fries. Today I also tried there fish sandwich. I must say that was delicious. I ordered it with fries and I must say the fries are really good because they are not salty or greasy! The only reason why I am not giving them five stars is because when I ordered my breakfast last time it had said on seamless.com that the breakfast meals comes with orange juice but when my order came there was no orange juice with it. Also when I ordered my fish sandwich today I asked them if they have a burger bun without the seeds on it and the guy said yes they do. But when I got my sanwhich they had put it on a hero that had seeds on it. But other than that the food was great and I will continue to order from there. read more

I've been ordering from here for a very long time, and i've almost always been disappointed, they always seem to forget something. I remember the first time i ordered with about 6 of my friends and they forgot half of our order, so half of us got to eat and the other half had to wait for the food, and when i called and told them they forgot part of my order the manager was being the biggest DICK in the world to me, being such a smartass on the phone and it was just such a terrible way to talk to a customer. I am a forgiving person so I continued to order and it was jsut terrible, constantly forgetting things like drinks, sides, forgetting to bring syrup when I order pancakes, they just constantly forget to the point where me and my friends say "well it's 57's" whenever they forget something, we don't even bother calling anymore because none of us want to deal with the dick head manager, honestly this place needs to step their game up, feels like they just think they are better than their customers, you are running a business so act like it. read more
