This place is good if you are looking for somewhere to just grab a quick bite to eat or if you want to eat a bagel. They have a wide selection of bagels available, spanning from jalapeño cheese to sun dried tomato. The workers are also really nice! My veggie omelette bagel was pretty good but I felt like I have had better bagels at other places. What really did it for me though was the freshly squeezed orange juice. They have different branches, but please come to this one. I went to the one in Buena Park and it's sooo different. This place toasts the bagel so thoroughly, and it's just good. The lox also tastes fresher and smells better than the other branch, for some reason it feels less frozen. Pickles tasted exactly the same though.. lol. I've been here twice this week now.. so imagine how annoyed I was when I accidentally routed myself to the Buena Park branch and it was disappointing. I always get a breakfast bagel with 2 eggs, 2 sausage and cheese on the works. It's bigger than Einstein's and cheaper too. Service is always fast and friendly, and they don't have that tablet that fishes for tips. I don't know about you but I have serious case of "tip fatigue" so this is really refreshing! read more

Place smells really smoky but okay - they toast a ton of stuff so that makes sense- The bagel sandwich is good but man, service is realllllyyyyy baaaaad! Two group after me had already received their orders and o was still there waiting. I followed up with the guy who was calling out prepped orders and he just looked at my number and went back in. A few minutes after I followed up with the guy who took my order and he said my order being prepared. I asked what happened since the people ahead of me had already left with their orders- and he said those were phone orders. No way! I was there the entire time and I heard them place their orders and saw him ring them up! I came here with my friend at 10:30 am on a Thursday. There was no crowd. I got the 5th Avenue bagel sandwich, with a generous amount of cream cheese, smoke salmon lox, red onion, tomato, and capers on a toasted Everything Bagel. It was fabulous!! So yummy, and a really reasonable price. Their coffee was great. I ordered just a small size, because there are free self-serve refills, so it was a really good deal. It was a little chilly outside, so we enjoyed our time at a nice table by the window inside. We plan to return! read more

If you do a combo you get a drink & chips for like under $8, a total deal!! My favorite is the breakfast bagel. I order an 8 grain bagel with sausage, egg & cheddar cheese. & it's real cheddar cheese, none of that plastic kraft cheese caca. I have never been more disrespected and discriminated by my own asian community. Im standing in line with my family and the counter asks the white man behind us and white woman with another party being already helped in front of us if they needed help and proceed to take the white mans order behind me. Now I had to address this directly at that moment because I was going to sit there and show my kids how soft we are. Im almost 300 lbs with my family i know they could not have missed me. The employee had apologized and recognized his mistake and thats why i had to give them 3 stars. The food was great, the service left a sour taste, but i will never disrespect my asian community. Time for an update. it's an easy place to hang out or get something To Go. The staff is friendly & usually quite efficient. I like that you can get your own refills of coffee. There's a variety of Bagels, most not too bread-y & a lots of Spreads to match. Their good-looking Bagel or Roll sandwiches are handmade on the spot & not too skimpy. Prices aren't exactly low but that's not a shocker these days. I went a little wild yesterday & had the open-faced 5th Ave Bagel Sandwich & small coffee. It came to over $10 but it was satisfying & made for a nice splurge. They are generous with the cream cheese & the not too salty lox covered the whole shebang like a cozy blanket. It came with 2 slices of tomato, a sprinkling of capers & thin ribbons of red onion. They have smoothies, coffee drinks & other tasty things. There's an ebb & flow to how busy they get but while the place is kind of small I've never had to wait for a table. Parking isn't usually an issue either. This place is hit or miss. I come here a couple times a month and in the past it's always been amazing but lately (my last 3 visits) have been not so great. I always order #1) Fifth Ave and #2) Heavenly Veggie Last time they forgot the sprouts and the avocado was mostly browns. Excellent breakfast spot. I've tried several different bagels here and I highly recommend the "Fifth Avenue", it's a bagel with lox, cream cheese, capers, onions, and tomato. I get mine double toasted and it always comes out perfect. While ordering can be difficult since there is no organized line and you don't order at a register but the service is great. read more

This place has become one of the Cypress cornerstones over the years. No matter what, I always see people here, having a good time. They have a large selection of bagels, and will warm them and give you cream cheese if you request. In addition, they have a sandwich menu that's always well portioned. Absolutely recommend this place. I can't get enough for f tier veggie deluxe bagel in a jalapeño cheese with bacon and of course coffee. I always call them and don't have to wait to head to work. Tried this place today because I love veggie bagels (avo, onion, cream cheese, tomato, lemon pepper) and this place was open at 5am. I was disappointed that their Yelp page didn't have clear up close pics of the menu and their site is down so I couldn't check the menu but I actually like their menu. Their menu has at least 10 different bagel entrees per breakfast/lunch and a decent coffee menu. Despite being their first customer and walking in @515am I was greeted by smiles and they already had a good half of their bagels selection made. I ordered the "veggie" bagel with bacon. I last minute ordered bacon with it and was charged an extra 1.75$ (for tiny slices of bacon) which I thought was ridiculous but assumed it could have been more because I bought the bacon after I paid for the bagel (and maybe I couldn't pay just 1$ add with my card or they charged me for a Drink). Now this bagel is perfect sized. Not too small not too big. They managed to pack my bagel with a decent amount of cream cheese which I love because I hate when people skimp on CC. They also pack the bagel with a lot of tomatoes and onions as well. The only downside I had to my bagel was that I wish they put more lemon pepper but I just piled it on when I got home. The bagel itself was about 6$ with tax and it was worth it. I chose to try this place out because my favorite bagel place is too far and charges 10$ for the same bagel and I wanted to replace them. Overall I will DEFINITELY come back here. I love that bagel and I love that they did not skimp. And that they slathered on the CC. The actual bagel itself was perfect too! It was warm and the right amount of chewy and it was not burnt. The inside of this bagel place was super clean and it looked like it was a place you could relax after eating breakfast.
