The folks working here are just really friendly, so this is one of those places that I love supporting. Also, there's a good variety of fresh bagels every day as well as different flavored or type of schmears. There's also some breakfast sandwiches for the folks that are more hungry and want all the fixins of a more elaborate meal.

However, when I received my order and checked it before leaving, I discovered that I had only been given two sesame bagels and one everything bagel. When I politely asked about the missing everything bagel, the employee insisted that I had only ordered one. She also refused to provide her name when asked. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, I was required to pay again for the missing bagel. The dismissive attitude and lack of customer service were disappointing. As a former New Yorker, I was equally disappointed with the bagels themselves. The restaurant promotes a New York-style bagel experience, but these bagels did not resemble the authentic New York bagels I grew up eating. They lacked the characteristic chew, texture, and flavor that make New York bagels famous. The bagels were also barely toasted. Rather than having a crisp exterior and warm center, they seemed only lightly warmed. A properly toasted bagel should have some crunch and color, and these simply did not. Mistakes happen in every restaurant, but how those mistakes are handled is what matters. My recommendation to future customers is to carefully inspect their order before leaving the counter. Unfortunately, based on this experience, both the customer service and product quality fell well below expectations.

Just tried 5th Ave Bagelry and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese on a jalapeño cheese bagel, while Coley had the Fifth Avenue Bagel, and we both grabbed Vietnamese coffees. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The bacon, egg, and cheese was delicious, and the jalapeño cheese bagel added the perfect amount of flavor and kick. The Fifth Avenue Bagel was outstanding, loaded with fresh ingredients and packed with flavor. The Vietnamese coffees were amazing and paired perfectly with breakfast. While the prices might be a little higher than some breakfast spots, the quality of the food and drinks makes it completely worth it. You can tell they care about what they're serving. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot in Upland with fresh food, great coffee, and quality ingredients, 5th Ave Bagelry is definitely worth a visit. We'll definitely be coming back. read more

Before i ever tried this place, i knew it was ganna be a 5 star place. i went the first time it was very good but it felt 4 star i got the rainbow bagel with my usual sausage and cheese but im like i know theres great, second time same order but with garlic bagel, good but im like i know theres the potential. i got the sourdough today and then i found the key. they key to my bagel breakfast tastebuds. the sourdough with the sausage and cheese mix in so well and now i know my usual order always. the mocha too is fire. i knew it was a 5 star place i just had to figure out my 5 star meal! read more
