You should screen your groomers. My fluffy sweet maltipoo was "groomed" by one of your groomers and was returned bald and bleeding all over her white body. Her ear was bleeding all over my lobby and sweater. When I called to complain I was offered a discount for her next grooming. Next grooming??? No way. I wanted a full refund. I was sent $27 and a cold "sorry". I took her to her vet and they felt so bad they didn't charge me. Otherwise, they would have been billed. My dog is shaking and not herself at all. Horrible cold "groomer" should not be allowed to be in business. I want the full refund not $27. He should not have been tipped. Posting before and after photos of my doll. She is so depressed and has not stopped crying and hiding. I am so upset and really do not anyone else to use these groomers and go through what my sweet dog and I have suffered through. EVER! I had to pick a star and ZERO was not an option. Horrible!!! My main concern is not the refund but to let everyone know to choose any other grooming business. The $60 is just the principle of it all. This is always a dilemma when you want the small business to grow & want to pay them for their services. But I highly recommend that this business invest some time in training their staff to not injure the animals!!! I paid for the Puppy cut, Nails & Anal gland cleanup. I have a clipped ear, & two of her paws have bled after too close of a nail clipping. Not saying that mistakes don't happen. But come out clean & let me know what happened instead of just brushing it away. The animal cannot talk but it's wounds are speaking - she is licking them since we got her back. I asked him did he read my notes before coming via Siri? shook his head no. Asked if he could just follow the previous cut and make it shorter. this is what I got! very unhappy customer. be aware that if this company sends you someone random they are not skilled groomers. We've used their services a few times and had good experiences, until recently. I reached out to schedule appointments and they wouldn't get back to me and waited 3 days before giving me an appointment. When they finally did, they didn't show up. No text or call to let us know they weren't going to show up. Our pup has some anxiety getting groomed so he is sedated to make it easier for the groomer and we've expressed this many times, yet they never showed up and our pup ended up getting sedated for nothing. I can't comment on the grooming yet because the groomer hasn't shown up yet for hour 10am appointment (it is now 11:15 and she said she's 10 minutes away). I cannot tell you how frustrated I am especially because I texted the owner and the groomer yesterday letting them know that we had planned engagements today and needed the dog to be finished by noon. The groomer texted me this morning 30 minutes before my appointment time letting me know that she would be late because the appointment she's leaving was far away. If I would've known the arrival would be almost an hour and a half away I would have just rescheduled. So..... I'm updating my review since we were finally able to get our little guy groomed. Jhoana ended up being amazing and extremely apologetic because they were so late. Although they did a wonderful job, I still can't reconcile the fact that they were almost an hour and a half late. I was not going to write this review had Emelio, the groomer, not texted me telling me it was "normal" for groomers to be delayed an hour and a half without notifying the customer and that he would appreciate if I were "patient." This morning I booked a grooming for 12:15 P.M, I read the reviews and noticed there were a lot of reviews regarding no-shows however the good reviews seemed good enough that if they did decide to show up at least the job would be decent. 12:45 P.M. rolls around and I have heard nothing from the groomer. Not a problem, I didn't think much of it and just went about my day which included numerous other appointments that worked out. 1:30 P.M. The groomer decides to call me and tell me he's outside the building. My appointment was at 12:15 P.M. so I responded and said exactly that, and that it is 1:30 P.M. and I had not heard from him until that moment. He then continued on about how he was outside and they had a mandatory 48 hour policy. The audacity he had to even share the policy after showing up an hour and 15 minutes late. I then hung up, and he sent me the text message stating how I should have responded to such an experience. Terrible customer service. read more

Having been a pet owner of both dogs and cats, I've only once had a cat groomed, and was not very optimistic trying to book a grooming appointment for my long haired cat who'd surprisingly developed large mats on both sides of his body. I received replies from only two groomers who could accommodate me, and $60 Bucks was the one who could do so within a short time frame. Even better, they were a mobile service which eliminated the need for me to have to catch and transport my big baby alone. The process of selection, and distinction between networking companies was a little confusing but Carlos replied to my e-mails, guiding me to Mauricio with Alpha Grooming. On the day of the appointment I received a text indicating that they could arrive earlier if I was available. Unfortunately, I wasn't and they were understanding. ( I wasn't aware of how far they were driving from). The only glitch was trying to direct them to my exact location via phone conversation once they were in the vicinity, as both groomers had very limited English, and I only very limited Spanish. :) We did, however, finally get together and the rest was easy breezy. Mauricio's wide-eyed smile (he was wearing a mask but I could still see and feel his smile) and love for the animals he cares for seemed evident He helped me to get my boy in the carrier and took him to the mobile van. Upon booking my appointment I got a confirmation that they would be at my location for the time I requested. Shortly after I received a text that they (Juaquim) needed to reschedule for the next day. I was very confused and asked for clarification, he responded that the next day would work better for his schedule, but I informed him that that the next day would not work for my schedule being as I work. Juaquim then informed that he would he see if someone else could do it or see if he could earlier. He later informed me he could come earlier and that is when I asked what time, but got no response. I waited 30 minutes for a reply as to what time I should be expecting him and never got a response. I decided to call the number on the yelp page and inform them of the situation and that is when I was given the "our employees can't text and drive" and "our employees can't text and groom" excuses. The gentleman then became very rude when I pointed out how unprofessional this initial service is as a new customer. He couldn't take the criticism and got very sensitive and decided he wanted to cancel my appointment instead of handling it professionally. If you decide to go here be aware they aren't very professional and can't take critique at all. [UPDATE] Generally, companies reach out to you to via direct message or email, but instead I got a comment on my review on yelp. Also, the commenter Cleo states my situation was an "exception" but I was never told that by Juaquim or by rude person on the phone otherwise I would've instantly rescheduled. Super disappointed with this company. When pandemic started I looked for mobile grooming for my puppy he is a German Shepard. Initially when I scheduled the appointment I was worried at first, because I didn't know how it'll all work out. Everything went fine first time, second time, and third rime oh boy it was something. I don't think they have all professional dog groomers. Of course there are certain ones who were great with our puppy. So this guys comes and let me tell you he couldn't control the dog, he couldn't calm him down, and he tried to tell him my dog scratched him! Well he ended up not grooming my dog and stressing him out! So after that I had another grooming appointment and it was a success! So after this I tried to schedule an appointment and finally I did online the groomer sends me a text message that he can't make it because his van broke down, and I have to reschedule. Like any other pet owner of course I was upset that my dog won't get groomed and last minute cancellation. I go ahead and reschedule the appointment, abs guess what! I get a text message at the day of the appointment 30 min before my appointment begins groomer sends me a texts saying his car had logistics problem and he can not make it at 5, he will come at 8:30pm. I am really upset. i hired this Company to groom both of my dogs. the groomers showed up two hours ahead of the appointment. One of the groomers did an OK job on one dog but the other dog looked terrible. the company contacted me after I gave them a poor review on my dog and promised to come out today at 3 o'clock to fix the haircut at no charge. instead the same groomer who screwed her up the first time showed up again and hour and a half early and intended to groom my dog once again and charge me another $85!!
