These guys are awesome!!! I called the day before thanksgiving to see if they had any availability for that same weekend. The woman I spoke to Krystal I think, was super nice and friendly and was able to fit us in last minute. She even gave us a discount because she was on the phone with another customer and had to call us back and she didn't call us back right away. The movers arrived in the time frame they said they would come between 8-9am. They came at 8:30am. Super efficient, friendly, thorough, and careful with our belongings. Our movers Danny, Miguel, and Enrique were amazing gentlemen and would definitely use them if we move again. I let Danny know when he first arrived that we would like to get the job done in the 3 hour minimum that they require due to financial restrictions and he said he would do his best to reach that. Overrated and Expensive. They charged me much more for a smaller move within Dublin area as compared to a larger move that I did from Walnut Creek to Dublin. Unfortunately, I did not hire the movers that moved my stuff from Walnut Creek to Dublin and instead hired these clowns. And of course it went much higher than the original quote on the phone. And BTW, I have hardly any stuff since I live alone. And then they show up late which I can live with. I ask them not to walk around in their shoes without a shoe cover around my brand new apartment. But my repeated requests had little effect. Their pace of work is slightly slower than a snail. Horrible Experience!!! I have done many moves in my life with multiple movers. I spoke to Crystal on 11/08/16 to book my move scheduled for 12/03/16 in Walnut Creek. Initially I thought this would be the company I was going to use for my move until I saw their rating on BBB. I called and spoke to Crystal twice and also emailed her twice on 11/14/16 and 11/17/16 to cancel my move with this company and request my $100 deposit refunded back to me (they require a 7 day cancellation notice before my move date of 12/03/16). Crystal assured me she would contact Finance department to refund the deposit. The day before I was scheduled to move surprise surprise I get a phone call from Crystal - confirming my move with 680 movers. I told her umm NO!! - & I reminded her that I spoke to her twice and emailed her twice to cancel and am still waiting for my deposit back. She apologized but to this day 12/06/16 I am still waiting for my deposit back. At this point I'm about to call my credit card company to file a dispute / fraud claim to get my $100 deposit back. Im not sure what is up with this company, Crystal, or their "finance department" but it doesn't seem like they have their stuff together and won't return my deposit. read more

I am surrounded by boxes but have to take 5 minutes to write this review. I have moved MANY times. I've had great movers, bad movers and ok movers. These guys were PHENOMENAL. JC and his crew were completely professional and are REAL movers. They properly pack, wrap and move furniture. They were conscientious and clean. I also had them help me pack the day before the move. Finding great movers can be hard to find. I am thankful I found 680 movers. My move was a bit unique. I was moving my 4 bedroom house into a 40' storage container. I am building a home and planned to stay in my RV for a month or so until construction was complete. My biggest concern was how are they going to fit all my possessions and get them into one container? The supervisor kept telling me, don't worry, it will all fit. And he was right. They meticulously packed that container and in the end it was packed to the top. but it all made it. Yes, they spend more hours than I anticipated, so the cost was higher than I thought it would be, but they were pushing it all the way and sometimes it just takes the time it does to get the job done. And they certainly did that - they got the job done efficiently and professionally. in fact when my house is ready, they will the the only moving company I will call. read more

This review is long overdue because they helped me move back in December 2014. I must say that they were on time, fast moving yet very careful with my stuff. Not a scratch or nick on anything. They were friendly and didn't complain when I asked them to move a very large awkward couch upstairs. The crew worked hard. I had a hiccup on the moving date, when I had to call only a few days ahead of the date to change it, the girl answering the phones was super nice and understanding about it (I think I e-mailed, but remember talking to her on the phone at one point). So I read all the reviews and said wow! Is this real or what. I registered online first and waited for the call. After 24 he's nothing. So I called and got Crystal, she found my stuff confirmed date, time and price. All good thus far. I'm moving from an apt to a house but I have some big heavy stuff. One of them a big glass dinning table. That sucker is heavy and never wanted to move it again. That in itself was worthy of the movers! So Danny, Miguel and Juan arrive and super nice. I had everything all boxed but they took apart my king size bed and 2nd bed. They went to work right away moving stuff. Asked questions once in awhile but loaded the truck in record time. Got to the house and placed everything where I wanted. Nothing damaged or broken. The sellers were telling about their movers... I had to smile and say well should have used 680 movers. WOW! So many great things to share about this company. We moved during the Memorial Day weekend. I contacted the company 3 weeks prior and Crystal was excellent and professional in handling my questions and concerns to get an idea of their company. After my phone conversation I knew that I didn't want to "shop around" Cirilo came to our home to do an estimated walk through, again so much information that was truly helpful in getting us prepared. He even gave me tips on packing certain pieces that he saw in our home. He also provided a rough estimate so I had an idea of what to expect. His movers are veterans at this and they are FAST. Our 5 crew team, with JC as lead, amazed us from start to finish. I realized that in me trying to help them only slowed them down, they were managed so well and so very helpful. I quickly got out of their way. On moving day every expectation that I was told about was fulfilled and there were no catches. If anything, my husband and I were blown away by the professionalism, organization, and work ethic. We thought many times during the morning, why didn't we do this before?! Turned out we ended below the estimate because of the information provided in our walk though to prepare. Truly working with 680 is money well spent! Lastly, I had made a mistake in the final check that I wrote, I contacted Crystal immediately to rectify the situation. Even after the move, they maintained integrity and professionalism and helped me work through my mistake! This situation was resolved and we arevery thankful to find such an honest company. Had a great experience prior. Tried to give them another chance. On moving day the movers were 3 hours late. Stated they needed 3 guys instead of two for $20 more per hour. I called Crystal and she threw in the 3rd person pro bono, due to them being late. (Crystal was great) They got there at 5pm. Left at 8:10. Moved across the parking lot from a 1 bedroom to 2. which took a little over 3 hours. Didn't leave me a breakdown of the final bill, which i requested via email to Crystal about two weeks ago and have not heard back. I recommended 680 to 2 friends that used them, so it's a shame that they have let me down the last two moves. Will not be using them again. read more

If I could click more stars I would! This was my 2nd move using 680 Movers. The first time was a few years back, and I read many reviews before choosing them ... and it was done quickly and smoothly that I remembered them this time 12/2016 for my mother's move out of an elder care and into my brother's home. In 2014, I was totally alone, no one to help and yet it all happened without a hitch. This experience was just as great! Crystal on the phone was professional, clear and gave me a discount for being a return customer. Daniel and Telmon were cheerful, diligent and fast workers ... my brother was very impressed (and he's hard to please since he's an attorney!). The move started at my mother's assisted living apartment, then to Los Gatos to my brother's and the rest of the furniture to my home in Rio Vista by the Sac Delta ... all furniture packed, moved and delivered to the different destinations and in 10 hours!!! The men were so cheerful even at the end of the day having traveled through several hours of holiday traffic. Daniel and Telmon were cheerful and handled the move quickly and made sure everything was placed where I wanted. So impressed was my family, we were txting back and forth after the move raving about their good work. GREAT JOB guys! This is the second time we have used this company, they are great! They arrived right on time and after taking a look around, quickly began to work. They laid runners down the stairs and hallways, and wrapped the banisters. Each piece of furniture was wrapped, there wasn't any damage to our furnishings when we arrived at our new home. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I called 680 Movers. The price was reasonable and the person on the phone was very professional. In addition, I had to move on a Holiday weekend and they were able to accommodate me. However, I have to say I was less than impressed with the actual move. I just moved from So Cal to the Bay Area less than a year ago so I have had some recent experience with what to expect. The three people who showed up did an OK job but I certainly would not use them again. Each seemed to do the work on his own rather than working as a team and using the other's help when needed. Two were good. The third seemed to really be struggling. He left a large deep scratch on my wall, bent my file cabinet (because he used straps rather than asking for help) to the point that I can't open it without a screwdriver, forgot a plant I asked them to move, and even left to go from my old place to the new place without telling me. Relatively minor complaints but I did not have very much to move and I am just not very happy with them. You can find better for not much more. I would not use them again. read more

With all the companies available on the web, I was so fortunate to contact 680 Movers. Crystal was able to accommodate my schedule at a competitive price. The team arrived at the house right on time. The foreman/crew leader, Michael, was fantastic. His hardworking assistant, Gerardo, was as well. These guys were polite and professional. They were very careful with all of my things. They worked fast and efficiently. On arriving at my house, Michael saved the day by being able to place a tall, 2 piece antique secretary in one our bedrooms. It appeared to be too tall, but Michael measured it and the ceiling height and said "Let's give it another try!' They got it in. Fits like a glove. Overall a terrific moving experience. I was completely satisfied with 680 movers. The guys were courteous and professional. They took special care moving some fragile and antique furniture. The big test was getting their truck up my very steep driveway without gouging it and previous movers had done. They were amazing. I don't know how they did it. Backing up a big truck on a steep, narrow and curved driveway, they skillfully maneuvered their truck without issues. I was concerned that because of the challenges my home presented they might ask for more money but they stayed with their reasonable quote. I'll use them again. read more

these movers were great - our Ikea furniture never had it so good! they came with their blankets and giant rubber bands, a few wardrobe boxes and they moved fast! our only complaint was that they took longer than we thought - 7 hours for a whopping $922. we had a 3 bedroom condo, and i think we were used to movers that didn't wrap so many items. they even wrapped the couch! but the payoff was that nothing was broken or missing so i could justify the cost that way. i would highly recommend this company. read more

680 Movers earned 5 stars without a second thought! Hiring them was the best decision we made when purchasing our new home!!! We were moving from a condo (technically on the 3rd story with 6 flights of stairs) into a home a few miles away. The crew of three, led by JC and workers Eduardo and Jose, are the hardest working men out there. They were fast, never took breaks and were incredible - they were friendly, efficient, careful and did I mention FAST? They carried out boxes and appliances like they were Atlas - this was not their first time. Nothing was broken except for a stray glass that I failed to pack properly. They rolled out the "red carpet" that protected the floors when moving out/and in. And I LOVED the free wardrobe boxes...they saved so much time and energy both during transport and unpacking (did I mention I'm 39 weeks pregnant?). My husband and I recommend them to anyone we encounter and would hire them again instantly! Reasonably priced, flexible timing, etc. Cannot forget to mention Lindsay, who was super friendly, scheduled the appointment and was very accurate with the costs as well as the follow-ups and confirmations (even though 680 movers was in the process of moving themselves!). No complaints at all about the moving team. The back office was very professional and customer-service oriented in addition to being super responsive. They did have a hard time estimating the length of time (and therefore the money it would cost me) for my move....coming in at 6 hours for a move that was twice that long. Be sure to be very specific about any tricky things about your furniture/move so that they (and you) can adequately plan for moving day. Otherwise, everything was super.
