I've really come to love this cafe. I've studied here, met family and friends here, and it's become…read morea staple when running errands or going on day trips All of the sandwiches are made to order, but my favorite is a classic bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel or English muffin. As for coffees, I love their seasonal drinks and cold brews! The staff is extremely nice and ensure all details of your order. The atmosphere is very chill with merchandise stands, coffees and teas, and syrups for sale. We love the Black Raven blend! Highly recommend for your next meetup, study sesh, or pre-errand pick-me-up :)

I was hoping for a more local vibe. There didn't appear to be any technical coffee making, no house made syrups, no really construction of drinks per se which is what I love about coffee shops. They also had a wide variety of blends and teas. Not my vibe at all. It seemed as though there was a mixture of locals and travelers. The cashier was nice enough and patient while we decided what to get to eat and drink. I played it safe and just got a hot vanilla latte. It was average. We also got a plain bagel with cream cheese, banana, and chicken salad sandwhich. No complaints but also not impressive. Not a great location either but again, was only passing through, seems to work for them.

I ordered a latte and some beignets for the road with white chocolate sauce, and OMG - so so yummy! I loved my little piece of NOLA in MD. & my next time in the area, I will for sure be returning. This location is super fitting too, with a lot of customers coming with their laptop or workbooks to not only eat and be served, but to use the space for their own personal development.

This review is about service and class and who I will and will not trust to prepare what I consume…read more I ordered a Velvet ice with oat milk. The woman taking my order added "no whip" because she assumed I didn't want dairy at all. When I asked for the whip they, with a nasty attitude, told me I had to pay extra. That didn't make sense to me considering the photo shows whip cream included. They started having a conversation in the back about me for making this simple request pointing out what their menu shows. I then pulled up the menu, waited in line again, and I showed them the menu and the mobile app which both show whip included and which you actually have to deselect it and neither has an additional fee. The woman preparing my order acknowledged that she deselected it on my behalf since I asked for oat milk. At this point - this is absolutely not about the whip cream or the upcharge, it is the abhorrent service, the aggressive demeanor, and the unexplained disdain I was shown when I treated both women with nothing but respect from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out of the establishment. ATP the woman who took my order saw the issue and was going to resolve it by, of course, adding the included whip cream! However, the manager, DJ returned and interfered refusing to allow her to do so & going on a rant directed at me when I was not at all in communication with her. Then, as she was returning my order (which included a tip btw!!) she proceeded to attempt to insult me by saying, "if you don't have 70 cents to pay for this, just say so." For the record, the tip I left was more than the 70 cents so that obviously did not land well. Throughout this dumbfounding experience, I was standing there, my voice calm, not raised, in a store full of my customers (after I patiently waited in line a second time) at 10 months pregnant. We all have bad days, but on so many levels, this cannot be acceptable at any point. To insult someone to try to win a "debate" over a non-issue in an industry where some of us remember "the customer is always right," is despicable at best. I hope someone finds a training opportunity in this, but I will not return to ever find out.
