My only complaint about this place is that it's halfway across the country from me…read more My wife and I were visiting from Michigan, and I was craving a cinnamon roll, so we stopped in. Suffice it to say, this place has ruined all other bakeries for us. The staff was extremely helpful in giving recommendations, and they did not disappoint. I got the cinnamon roll (of course), and a cheese danish, and my wife got their lemon & almond pastries. The price was extremely reasonable for what we were about to experience. Dear reader, these delectable delights were unlike anything we've ever tasted before. Perfectly buttery, flaky, warm, and full of flavor. It was all we could do not to make a scene at our table out of sheer culinary delight. We actually ended up going back to the counter for seconds. Now, days later, we're back in Michigan, sitting down with cinnamon rolls from our local bakery, and it's just... okay? "It's not Taste of Denmark..." I say, the light fading from my eyes. "Yeah..." my wife responds, despondent. So thank you, Taste of Denmark. You have set the bar too high, and now none shall ever compare. I hope you're happy. (We miss you, and promise to stop in every morning when we're back in Colorado)

It was such a turn off to see these little flies all over, they still have a long way to go on the cleanliness. I would suggest cleaning the cases out with some peppermint oil to help prevent the flies without chemicals. I would really love to see them back to the point of winning awards.

The Ruben and fries I ordered, along with a honeycrisp cider, was an absolute treat. The only real criticism I would give is that, at leas in my experience with the Ruben sandwich, there was quite a lot of oil left on it that made it rather greasy. That said, it was still a good meal at a place with friendly staff and overall fun vibes.

I stopped in for a quick takeout lunch. The place is at least twice the size of a typical cafe, with lots of seating, including patio seating for when it's warmer. I ordered a harvest salad which had apples, candied walnuts, blue cheese, and cranberries. There were many enticing options and I had a hard time choosing! At around 12.75 before tax & tip, I found those prices pretty reasonable. In fact, quite a steal compared to other meals I ate in this district on this trip. I didn't have to wait long for my to-go even though they were busy. I didn't take a pic because I figured the takeout container isn't ideal plating. Salad was pretty decent quality and portion was just right for lunch. I think I was expecting something a little fancier but in retrospect I think it was just right for the price. I'd stop in again, and maybe try their breakfast in the future.
