Stopped by this location coming back from Disneyland. The drive thru was very slow, but the wait inside was quick. I ordered the sea foam jasmine tea while my husband got the thai milk tea. We also ordered the garlic fries and popcorn chicken. These items were so delicious! I loved the saltiness and sweetness of the jasmine tea and I personally loved the popcorn chicken. For the price I think it was a fair portion. Definitely not a meal, but a good appetizer/snack to share between two people. My husband enjoyed his thai tea and also loved the popcorn chicken. The fries were okay. They were honestly just fries, but for $3 it is pretty worth it. They paired well with the popcorn chicken as you get to try a different flavor. I love 7 Leaves Cafe!! For starters they have a drive thru. You don't see this with Milk Tea places, and it's a game changer lol. I got a Thai Tea with Sea Cream. The Thai Tea was made perfectly. One of the best ,if not the best, Thai Tea's I've ever had. The Sea Cream just makes it that much more creamy and delicious. Very friendly staff. LOOOOVE that this is a drive thru. Minimal seating areas for studying if you like personal space (they have one person study seating area for two inside, then a giant community dining table and a long bar facing the window with high (uncomfortable seats) and just a few outlets to plug in your study/work material). We made our way over around 11:30 AM. Since I haven't visited a 7 Leaves in a while, I wasn't sure what I wanted so it took a few minutes for me to decide--especially since I have given up coffee. The young girl who helped us was very friendly and patient. She offered as some samples before we decided on our drinks. I tried the mung bean milk tea and really liked the flavor & it smelled really nice as well so I ended up getting a large with grass jelly. My son and niece decided on the sea salted jasmine tea. They both said they liked their drink. I got an order of the popcorn chicken for my son since he was hungry, which was just ok. It didn't have as much flavor as I expected. I wrote a review back in January (screenshot included here) about my negative experience at this location. I submitted it and didn't think nothing of it, it was done. Butttt! 7 Leaves decided they weren't done with it! They decided to message me an apology and offer me 2 free drinks! I've included a screenshot of THAT message as well. When I got their message I was ecstatic! Wow, they actually read reviews and here they are trying to remedy this situation! Good shit man! But, NOPE NOPE NOPE. A day after sending me the message and offer, they DELETED IT! Yup! No traces of it! Zero! Zilch! Nada! It was gone from my inbox. They had the audacity to take back their apology! However, one thing 7 Leaves did not account for. my level of pettiness! Yup, my pettiness is unrivaled, it reaches heights that put Everest and Kilimanjaro to shame! They probably thought I didn't read it and deleted it just in time to take back their generosity! Luckily, I took a screenshot of that mfer! I decided to play ball THIS time. I sent their corporate an email through their website, I even went on IG and sent them a message (I've included that screenshot here as well ) I played stupid, asking if my offer was still valid. Love this location for its drive thru but there have been at least 3 occasions now where we will arrive home and find that our drinks are incorrect. Today my boyfriend's milk tea had no boba in it despite him ordering it / the honey boba add-on was printed on the sticker. I'm a frequent at this location and it has been this way for years.  This location DOES NOT disappoint.  The staff always delivers friendly, prompt and efficient service.  For the most part, my app orders are always ready by the time I arrive.  By that time I walk in that door or do a quick drive-thru visit, I'm in and out of there in less than a 2 minute time.  Know that I do have a closer 7 Leaves from home, but I rather visit this location because of the Service they provide. This is one of the newer 7 leaves located on Ball rd across from Zankou Chicken. They open at 7:00am with a double drive thru. Service is friendly. Prices are reasonable. First of all, if I could leave zero stars I would. I have been to countless 7 Leaves locations but after multiple visits to this one and being disappointed every time, I needed to leave a review. When I showed up this time, I saw that there was some people in the seating area so I went inside to place my order. However, once I was inside I was told that only employees were allowed in and they were only taking mobile orders. After looking around I saw the only signage they had was behind a table on the side of the store, now sure how I was suppose to see that. We ended up going through the drive thru instead, the employee had repeated our order to us multiple times. But when we got our order we made the BIG mistake to not look at our drinks until we got home. We ordered a house coffee with no sea cream, but got it with sea cream. We order 2 Love Cream, one with grass jelly and the other with boba. We ended up getting both with boba and one came with a broken seal. The set up of the store to confine with covid regulations was super confusing and the drinks they made were super poor. I wish this was a one time occurrence but after dealing with this so many times. I felt like it was needed to leave a review. There are many other 7 Leaves location in the OC area, do yourself a favor and go there instead. read more

Seriously... how hard is it to understand Easy Ice? It's like this place is purposely giving too much ice to cut costs. This isn't how you want to start off your new location. Having a reputation as the boba place that gives too much ice will cause people to go elsewhere. I'd rather drive down to Cypress because they don't go crazy on ice Update: Decided to give this location one more chance Ordered a large house special coffee easy ice. I don't like watered down drinks. This place proceeds to give me a cup filled 80% with ice. I tell them that this isn't what I ordered because I asked for easy ice. The douchebag worker proceeds to tell the person helping me to give me a new drink but don't fill it up because it's only allowed to have so much coffee in it. I call him out on this because I've been to several different 7 leaves and I always order the same drink with easy ice and it is always filled to the top. I love 7 Leaves! I've been to most of their locations so far & it's consistently amazing! I get the house coffee, extra shots if needed (they're free!) with less ice & less sweet. This location is brand new, and funnily enough across the street from Ding Tea (which I love too. If you find a better place for milk tea iced/hot, lmk!) There is a small parking lot & a drive through at this location which is convenient, and only makes me wish I lived closer to one. The interior was clean with the standard bar table top with high chairs, a large shared table with chairs & outlets & a printer! Perfect for studying. It's a small space though so don't come with a huge group to study or expect to find seats for everyone! Service was great, everyone was very nice & didnt make me feel bad about adjusting my order a few times. The only downside is that since the chairs are metal, it is FREEZING to sit inside!! We left early to sit in the heated car because we couldn't handle shivering in here. Overall it's a standard 7 leaves, with a drive through & a nice little study spot as long as it doesn't get too crowded or busy. read more

Thank you 7Leaves for opening one on this side of OC! This location is closer to my place and school. Plus, I don't have to worry about traffic to get my coffee. It's definitely more spacious compared to the other locations and isn't as crowded. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating if you'd like to study. Plus, there's a drive thru (Always a bonus when you're in a hurry). I'm a fan of all their drinks but I always ask for EZ ice bc sometimes it feels like I get more ice than I do my drink. House special coffee: rich and nutty taste. If you're not a fan of the creaminess, get it without sea cream Sea cream black coffee: get this if you prefer a stronger coffee taste. Sea cream jasmine tea: so good! Light and refreshing. Strong jasmine taste, which I love. Herbal tea: I always have a hard time describing how it tastes but it's super refreshing. Also very light and not super sweet. Mung bean milk tea: can be really sweet (not sure if any adjustments can be made by consumer) but it will taste a bit grainy since it's made with real mung beans. I love this place! I first tried 7 Leaves in Garden Grove, but it's a little ways from where I live (especially with all the traffic in that area.) I was so excited when they opened a new shop that I could drive to in less than 10 minutes. I love the boba and the flavors here; there's not a lot of selection of flavors, but they have all my favorites. Taro, oolong milk tea, all of it is amazing. I enjoy the boba too; they're much softer than in other boba places. Every time I come here, the people are nice to me and they're very fast at filling out orders. The interior is also decorated plainly but nicely. It has a nice vibe to it. The only downside is they don't currently sell food. But that doesn't take my love away from this place. read more

This location is just popping up on the radar in my area and it has a drive thru too!!! If you're walking in, be careful when you enter because you might have to cross the drive-thru to get to their entrance. It was slow when I went so I ordered quick and got mine drink quick. The crew was super nice and enthusiastic when I was there.the place was clean and tidy and there's plenty of seating. They also have a printer for people to use. I want to give this place a chance because it's close to my house and I love their coffee, but service here needs to improve. I ordered a strawberry hibiscus extra sweet and my drink came out with very little ice and a lot of boba, so I came back to ask them to adjust my drink with a little bit more ice to easy out the sweetness ... and they ended up giving me this. I don't usually leave reviews for boba shops but my experience today was rather unpleasant. This location is by my house and I always stop by it before going to school/work. I've never had an issue with any of my orders but when I ordered a Matcha Soy today, none of the powders were properly mixed. Matcha powder is reasonable if you see small clumps but even the milk powder was not mixed and you can clearly see large clumps of them. i just hope this issue will be addressed with the staff. read more

Went with the family as this place was highly recommended by coworkers. I had the jasmine milk tea. It was good, exactly how I like it. The rest of the family loved their drinks too. The staff was extremely friendly, and answered all our questions. We were even offered a samples when we asked about the difference between the different teas. This is my local 7Leaves and it's always a pleasure coming here. The staff is very friendly and always do an excellent job. Throughout the pandemic I saw them place the safety of customers and employees first and found that to be quite admirable. My favorite thing to get here is a Japanese matcha tea since I'm not a big coffee drinker. If there's one thing I wish I could see from 7Leaves are matcha lattes (especially with a coconut milk option). Other than thought this is a great place to grab something good. read more

I just drove through here about 45 minutes ago- germaphobes beware The cashier has had the same pair of gloves on for the 3 cars ahead of us (and I'm sure more before that.) I've watched him handle cash with these gloves. So I hand my husband my phone with Apple Pay so he can just hold it near the reader. He grabbed my phone with these dirty gloves. Thank god I have spray in my car and profusely wipe it down. After that, we saw him drop a cup on the floor, pick it up with the same gloves, throw it in the trash, pick up straws and napkins with the same gloves, then put lids on our drinks. ALL WITH THE SAME GLOVES. Touching all around the lids and the straw holes For those of you who don't understand how cross contamination works. There are now germs from cash, the dirty ground, whatever germs were on my phone, and now on the straws, napkins and drinks. Everything is contaminated. And everything he just touched with my interaction will end up on your drinks. I'll never come back here. Being in quarantine had been driving me crazy and i haven't been out in over 20 days. Today seeing how stupid this was is confirmation that nobody knows how to be clean and I'm (and you) are better off staying at home. First off their drive thru was a boba addicts life saver during quarantine and the employees here seem to do well with wearing masks and gloves etc. I've also done mobile ordering thru their new app which is very convenient. My only gripe is that you can't order food here. Can't order hot foods at their drive thru (unless its their croissants or macarons) and the mobile app does not let you order food either . And there's no in store ordering so its a bummer. But still, they're super close to my house and their drinks are consistent so I'll continue to frequent this location knowing I can't get my popcorn chicken fix here. read more

Don't give in to the hype Brian... don't do it.. well I can't help the fact that the drinks here are tasty and the price is affordable! I typically order an oolong milk tea, mung bean milk tea, or jasmine, and 90% of the time it always tastes good! There are random moments when it's not super consistent and one day is overly sweet whereas another day is lacking sweetness, overall it's a solid choice for boba. Quite frankly, nowadays it's pretty much one of my favorite spots (can't believe I said that!) Great wifi surprisingly compared to other locations, and the big table in the middle is nice to work on. Probably the worst 7 Leaves location out of all of them. I don't even hate 7 Leaves, but I every time I come here (because it's the closest to home), there's always something annoying that happens. Either there's an employee who is just terrible at listening at the drive-thru causing us to keep repeating ourselves, there's still an unnecessary wait even though I've arrived well AFTER the app says my drink is ready, or that they're just out of something. I mean, what are the chances? That's just too much. Also, apparently their steamer is always broken, so I almost could never get a hot drink.
