Amazing creative menu! Trendy atmosphere. Did I mention the great menu options? We started with the Fried Feta with drizzled honey and chili pepper. It has complex flavors that were perfectly balanced! This is not a dish you will find anywhere else. I ordered the daily special, lobster BLT. The lobster salad was delicious. The bacon was super great quality: thick cut, and savory. The fries were good. They were a little greasy while also crispy. Different fries would be the only way to improve. Paremsean or truffle fries that were would be perfect match!

Bavarian pretzel! Was delicious. I had the mustard seeds and like a beer cheese with bacon bits.

We again enjoyed ourselves very much! Food service drinks, all top-tier, to protect the innocent and guilty. I will not disclose that drinks we had and how many but yeah you'll just have to try it. The food was delicious.

3 1/2 stars. 7 South Bottle has a gastro pub like menu. We ordered wings and a raspberry ricotta to start. Both were very good. The wings were crispy and tasty. Husband and I ordered the roasted half chicken. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The sides, Brussel sprouts and butternut squash could use some work. They both need more seasoning and texture. The butternut squash was undercooked and the Brussel sprouts could be crispier. Not much atmosphere but the staff was very pleasant and our food came quickly.

They need to enhance the menu. It is very limited. Atmosphere is good. Prices are a little expensive. Service was very good.

I think the chef is one of those people, because I had the muscles today and it was so salt forward. I mean it was dangerously full salt, but I was so hungry that I ate it anyway and then I told the waitress I said I should not even complain because I ate the dish however they should watch out for the salt. She said it's one of the most popular dishes and people like it that way . The restaurant decided to be gracious enough and swap that off of my order and let me get something else instead, but I was already full, so I took home a salad. Hours later, I figured it would be nice to have something refreshing after all that salt. I'm eating the salad and something crunchy and it's not the normal crunch. So I decide to like look into the lettuce and I see dirt. Especially now with everything going on around lettuce I am beyond shocked. I tried to call the restaurant granted it was dinner time but no answer so I called the sister company in another city and they said they would have the manager reach out to me which never happened . What surprised me as well as the manager from the sister location said he finds this surprising because the lettuce comes in triple washed, and they wash it themselves. All I could say to that is maybe open up the lettuce leaves and rinse them or open your eyes. So I'm putting it out there, I would like my money back, but since you can't answer the phone or own up to any responsibility, I'm leaving this message for you because I get a lot of hits on my reviews and I'm gonna tell people do not eat at this place unless your taste buds are completely dead and you just need salt and dirt survive. PS the ambience is so dark. It's decorated nicely, but they definitely need more light can barely read the menu.. Update, Stewart the owner wouldn't take my call, but they did issue a refund .

Known locally as "The Chat," it's tucked away in a neighborhood overlooking Dudley Pond, in what began life as a private fishing lodge nearly a century ago before becoming a speakeasy and eventually the local institution it is today. It definitely shows its age--and I mean that affectionately. (The Dudley Chateau) The building is well worn, it gets packed, it can be loud, and yes, the restrooms have seen better days. None of that has stopped us from coming back several times a year. Why? Because the food is consistently excellent, and so is the service. The menu goes well beyond what you'd expect from a neighborhood pub, and we've yet to leave disappointed. The staff somehow manages to stay friendly, attentive, and efficient even when the place is buzzing. The Dudley Chateau isn't trying to be trendy or upscale, and that's part of its charm. It's comfortable in its own skin, and so are the people who keep coming back. If you're looking for spotless, quiet, and polished, this probably isn't your place. But if you're looking for great food, friendly service, and a genuine local institution with plenty of character, it's absolutely worth the visit.

The restaurant was also hosting a teacher appreciation event where teachers ate free which I thought was amazing of them even though I'm not a teacher. We had to wait a bit due to the demand that evening but it was not bad to stroll around a bit. They had pretty diverse staff and they were all very friendly and seemed committed to the restaurant and good service. They also seemed to know the menu quite well and proud that the restaurant makes everything from scratch! I got chimmichuri steak flat bread and my friend got a salad. We shared the seasoned fries. I would not think of these flat breads as pizza. Once you've mentally made that jump, the food is really good. I enjoyed it and it was a good amount as well. My friend also ordered food to go for her partner and our server was great to helping us time that order so it was ready for when we were leaving and still hot. Amazing service with great food and cute neighborhood. I think you can get dessert here but there's also a fun micro creamery across the street that was another delicious way to push deeper into food coma for the night!
