Perfect family meal! Cozy restaurant with a great staff and menu. Delicious warm bread and butter served and a creative diverse menu to order from.

Atmosphere and food. Perfect wintery evening. Quiet, cozy, sophisticated, beacon hill spot. We'll be back.

Had the most delightful dinner at 75 Chestnut. This neighborhood spot never disappoints and you always treated like a special guest. The food is always on point. Love the Meyer lemon chicken. And the drinks are always excellent.

Really quaint place to grab brunch. Service was friendly and food came out very quickly. The avocado eggs Benedict was delicious and as a surprise it actually came with a side of sausage which I wasn't expecting.

We stopped in for brunch and were happy with our meal. Service was prompt and professional while the food tasted great. My spouse got the Weekend Breakfast, which was about average for a regular breakfast plate. I got the Steak & Avocado Bowl which was more like a steak salad but absolutely delicious. All the flavors came together quite well, and I actually enjoyed a salad for once.

Small cute lil restaurant we made a reservation but definitely didn't need one on a Thursday night the restaurant wasn't empty but had plenty of tables. Service was great didn't really need to wait for anything. We started with the clam chowder and it was great had lots of flavor but wished it was a little bit thicker. We had that with bread and it was very good bread. My quinoa salad was good with lots of flavors great if you're vegetarian. And my partner said his sandwich was very good but the fry's lacked some flavor. We had the option to have their dine out Boston menu but we were seeing a show after and didn't have time for a 3 course meal. Overall it was very good and we will definitely be returning.

Came here after a show in the opera house theatre and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The burger was very unique with sliced pears inside which was delicious! The service was great and the restaurant itself has a nice cozy feel to it. Other menu items were a bit more expensive when compared to other places but I still enjoyed my food!

Glad our friends recommended 75 Chestnut for a birthday celebration brunch. We found the restaurant to be cozy with friendly and efficient service. Cocktails were quite good, and I would recommend the fig martini. Steak tips, as well as the fish and chips were also very good. A very nice touch, and completely unexpected, they brought out a delicious chocolate lava cake with a candle for dessert. We would definitely return here to try more of the menu

Service was fantastic! Friendly staff overheard it was my sister's birthday, so we were surprised with dessert. Gerardo was very pleasant, and the food was on point.

Food: Crab Cakes ($24) - solid quality, nice that there were not any shell bits in there, roasted red pepper coulis and chipotle aioli sauce on the side was a nice combo of savory and spicy to complement the crab cakes, cucumber salad on the side was a refreshing way to complement the crab cakes as well Stuffed French Toast with raspberry preserves ($20)- pretty good, good amount of tasty raspberry preserves in there along with the mascarpone cheese, toast could've been a bit fluffier though, bacon on the side was normal but a bit too crispy for me Atmosphere: Classic American restaurant vibes with a bar area and decent amount of other table seating, pretty nice space Service: Okay service speed, pretty friendly waiter, no wait for a weekend brunch Overall: Pretty good American brunch spot, slightly on the pricier side but not bad

PATTY MELT REVIEW…read more Iconic diner on the edge of Chinatown, a couple blocks east of the Expressway. It's been around for decades and it's open 24/7. More of an authentic this-place-has-aged feel than the typical diner attempt to evoke an earlier era. Went in the morning and went for a patty melt-- because I could. It's too elusive these days, so being able to not only find one but have it at breakfast, a double win. Double patty is standard, not an add-on, and fries (probably frozen, but lengthy, crisp and fluffy) are included. No onions, no rye, but lettuce and tomato-- a non-traditional configuration. Nicely browned patties that had juiciness. The ingredients weren't anything to write home about, but the execution was great all around and so was the cheerful service from a seasoned veteran. Sure, I've had better with the proper rye, griddled onions, and higher quality beef, but an easy 4 stars for the execution, value, vibe, and being able to even order a patty melt before 10 in the morning. Bonus points for a plastic ketchup squeeze bottle that was slightly warm. Breakfast items (eggs, crispy home fries, and pancakes) on a neighboring table looked good.

We didnt mind. Our sever, Marie was extremely attentive and nice. South Street Diner is a small but not too small venue which serves breakfast all day. With my meal, I chose a mimosa, not just the regular prosecco and orange juice, but an apple pie mimosa made with swirls of caramel and topped with cinnamon. It was good. The food came out fast, portions were huge to where I could not eat it all, and it was delicious. I'm sure if in Boston again, I'll return.

I got the smash burger with fries (so good) and the blood orange spritz which was super refreshing and fruity (just how I like it). The smash burger comes with a special sauce, American cheese, and shredded lettuce with a side of either fries or greens. I love a special sauce, and theirs is delicious. At this Fenway location, they have the layout of the space planned out/sectioned off nicely. By the bar you're seated either directly at the bar or at hightop tables in an area with bright lights and there's tv's on playing sports (basically picture your classic bar scene), but then they also have normal low-top seating near the bar (which is more like your regular restaurant experience), as well as a whole section that is dimly lit and has a date night vibe to it. Pretty cool how they can pull off the different vibes within the one space and it all works.

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. However, it's close to Boston Common and the public garden so there's things to do to while you wait. The owner and staff are super nice and friendly. They're cognizant that people wait a long time to eat at their establishment and treat you with kindness when you're inside. It is very cramped and the tables are close together, but the rustic feeling makes it a great place to catch up with 1 or 2 friends. There's a wide variety of breakfast/brunch items, so there's something on the menu for everyone. The kitchen also is good about substitutions. Additionally, the portions are reasonable for the price, especially for the area. Most entrees come with a salad, which was a fun surprise. I got the Signature Scramble and liked the variety in the dish. The eggs did have caramelized onions, which I picked out, but there was a good amount of sauce and flavor on the plate. This place has been on my Boston brunch bucket list, so I'm glad that I've gone. I'd recommend this place to people who appreciate a good meal, but wouldn't take people who are impatient or claustrophobic.

Salty Pig Pizza: A pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Who was the genius who came up with the idea of salted pig and beer caramel? It's brilliant! The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor. Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out. The almond biscuits had an overpowering almond flavor, and the flavor of plant-based protein was terrible! (Oh, this should have been a plus...)
