What a great dinner! Started with some apps - yes we tried the Twinkie. It was amazing! Great entrees as well. Highly recommend this place and we will be back.

    Wrong menu prices

Pretty spot, right off the T. Main complaint are the price difference between their online and in real life menu... I would understand old Yelp pics but their website is wrong. Secondly, is how long any attention took for a bar with only 4 sat at completely empty restaurant. We only realized price differences as we didn't get a *menu* for 10 mins, after being sat, until we asked for it, twice.

Hadn't been to 753 in a while but always enjoy my time here, which is usually on the patio even pre Covid. I got the bargains of the nite, a $9 glass of Gruner Veltliner and the $17 fried chicken breast dinner w green beans, mashed and gravy. The order is huge looking like a schnitzel. I started by cutting it in half but decided screw it, I'm eating the whole meal. So good. Friends got the same plus a nice big arugula salad and well made cocktails. Had a bite of the bread pudding for dessert, just the way it should be on the light puffy side. Great patio, awesome service, nice time. They've got heat lamps ready to go when it gets cooler.

Fried chicken was awful, mashed potatoes weren't hot, green beans drenched in butter. Wait staff pretty bad. Last time here.

Which items are FULLY gluten free on the menu for people with celiac disease? (This means that they are cooked in their own pots/oils /water and the counters are sanitized before mixing gluten & non-gluten, and there is no cross contamination)?

So, many are fully gluten free. I have a very good friend that can eat only gluten free (we go at least once a week, maybe even more) and she orders plenty of things from their menu. Amazing food! Hope this helps

Eugene O'Neill's is NOT that precious, piped in Irish Rovers (don't get me wrong....I love a good unicorn tale) music, with a smattering of apostrophe'd food selection names on the O'Menu. This is a solid, finely vetted menu with amazingly good food, even better Bloody Mary's, and staff who are lovely. And I use that word intentionally. Fish and chips were light, fries AMAZING (simple and crunchy and with malt vinegar? Kooky delicious). The buffalo tenders were on the small side-which I prefer- not too spicy and cooked perfectly. The house salad super fresh and it deducted any calories from the tenders, obviously. The Reuben was grilled, and I mean GRILLED! Look at it! My husband is a borderline reuben snob and he breathed it in. He ordered sweet potato fries, but it accidentally came out w regular. Because the fries are so delicious as is, it was no problem. But then the plate of sweet potato fries appeared and they were glorious. Ridged, fried crisp and perfectly. Just lovely people at EO's. We were there on a Friday at 12:30pm, very quiet, dark wood (I mean, Irish pub) and cozy. I saw a flyer for a monthly book club that happens, and other neat events, as well. Def check out this wonderful place....I promise that you'll feel as if you've been there a thousand times before!

Very well balanced - I especially liked the stracciatella. Taleggio Capeletti (7/10): A bit too rich and too salty for my tastes. I think this dish just needed something to cut through the richness. Still really good nonetheless. Lumache (8/10): The chew on the pasta is impeccable!! The chew on those mushrooms is also insane. Texture-wise, this dish was a home run. For some reason, I kept getting hints of something resembling boar taint in the sauce flavor itself. Not sure why... I don't think there was meat? I feel like I would've given this dish a 10/10 had it not been for the hint of that flavor. Service was very friendly and fast. The restaurant is small, but the seating didn't feel too tight. Even though I gave it a 5/5, I actually don't know if I would come again. The pasta was very steeply priced for not that much food. Although the capeletti was surprisingly filling, I'd rather feel full on carbs than full on pure butter and cheese.

The table was a bit tight, but we made it work. Our server was kind. We started with chorizo and cheese. The chorizo was similar to meat from A charcuterie board, so for the price, we would definitely skip ordering the cheese and chorizo. Other than those 2 dishes, we would order everything again! The potatoes, carrots and mushrooms were bomb! They were each so good. I'd order all 3 again. The chicken was also really good. The potatoes tapas is the same as the potatoes that come with the chicken, so no need to order both, unless you love potatoes. that being said, the potatoes were so good that we couldn't stop eating them. We'll definitely come back since this is in the neighborhood. I recommend giving it a try.

Unfortunately, haggis isn't available every day, so when we visited on a Sunday evening, it was not on the menu. That was definitely disappointing to find out. Instead, we ordered the Scotch egg, sliders, and the deep-fried Mars bar. The Scotch egg was good, but at $13 for a single egg, it felt a bit overpriced. It came with a small side salad, though I think serving two eggs instead would have made it a better value. The sliders were a pleasant surprise. The beef was clearly high quality, and they were the perfect size if you want to enjoy a great burger without committing to a full one. To finish, we shared the deep-fried Mars bar, and it was absolutely delicious. It's definitely a rich dessert, so it's perfect for sharing between two people. I personally would have preferred it with vanilla ice cream instead of whipped cream, but it was still a great way to end the meal. Overall, I'd love to come back and finally try the haggis, but based on this visit, I'd definitely recommend the sliders and the deep-fried Mars bar.
