The car wash itself is decent, but they charge extra for trucks and SUVs without justification since this is a machine wash!!!!! They don't dry the roof so there's no extra effort involved with trucks. It's simple greed. Since I have an Xterra it's not worth $8 for me. Quick and efficient about the price of a regular car wash this one is 100% hand dried and hand washed. If you're in the area and you're in a hurry and your car is dirty this is a great place to go. The prices are 699 899 or 1099 but they do give you a discount on gas when you get your fuel about two dollars so that really keeps the price very similar to a regular machine wash. read more

Guys work hard and leave your car nice and shinny!!! Kind of a combination of a drive thru wash/hand wash and dry. Not expensive either.

My family and I have been going to this 76 Station and drive through Carwash for several years. All the guys who work the Carwash are so nice and friendly and they do a great job. The convenience store section is nice too and the bathrooms are always clean. The only service I wish they would offer is free vacuuming as you have to use quarters. read more

Very easy to get in and out of and for $6 you really can't complain, especially with the great customer service they deliver. If you're looking for an immaculate job at $6 you've lost your mind and should most definitely find a full service car wash but expect to pay $20+, and not $6. read more

Just left there after trying the carwash for the 1st Time. 6.99 and does a better job than the other drive thru car washes. There's a few guys ready to pre soak it as well as hand dry it. Horrible car was. At first glance it looks like a machine operating car was. Boy was i wrong. Turn the cormer and i c 2 guys with long wooden brooms??....i guess. The 2 guys spash a lil water on the car nd go at it. While in the car u can hear the wood hit your car. And its kinda loud, denting. loud. Then the machine pulls u through the wash, rinse, then dry. On the way out there is yet another guy who hand dries ur car. I was about to let him to, untill i saw the dirty raggedy rags he was holding. I mean these things were black. So i told him "NO." And i drove off. Got home, looked at the car. Geez. What a mess. Still have bird poo all over the front. Huge spot. Then theres dirt from where they didnt brush with their home depo floor brushes. And where they did "clean" jus looks like scratches. Dont go here. To the owner, i will be bringing u a repair bill. Have a nice day. read more

My girlfriend and I are frequent customers at this 76 location in Costa Mesa where Newport Blvd meets the 55 North Ramp. Most of the employees at this location go above and beyond, Greeting you as you walk through the door, and thanking you as you leave.. I went into this gas station to buy some snacks and pay for some gas. So i picked up 2 rice puddings, and noticed my shoes had been untied.. So i set them down back inside of the fridge area. Mind you, the whole time i was in visible range of the register, so the younger Hispanic male employee, who works Saturday afternoon/evening (didn't happen to catch his name, because he had no nametag.) Anyways he could see me the whole time(i wasn't hiding or anything). So i bend over to tie my shoes and next thing i know I notice someone standing about a foot away from me. He proceeded to tell me to pull up my pantleg of my right leg, so i do so, then he asks me to do the same with my left leg, during this time, no one was watching the cash register, because the only employee at the time was this guy. So he's doing this Infront of a store full of customers, my girlfriend being one of the customers.. and humiliated myself and my girlfriend in the process. He continued to ask me what i stole (i guess having me lift my pantleg a up and giving him a complete 360 view of myself wasn't enough for him. now remember, this is a gas station where i know this guy's seen my girl and i spend anywhere from $50-$100 a day at for the last 6 months or so. Even after he was wrong about me stealing and had completely humiliated me, HE STILL CONTINUED TO HAVE AN ATTITUDE WITH ME. luckily my girlfriend was there to keep me a little more level headed. So we decided to just leave. I will probably NEVER return to this location atleast when he is working. I hope anyone who goes there doesn't have to deal with the unprofessionalism of this guy. He is a Hispanic male in his probably early 20s and about 5ft7in tall. Works Saturday afternoon/evening. So i would hope anyone who goes there doesn't tie there shoes in the store or you might have to go thru a TSA security check by a 76 gas station employee.lol I hope before he accuses someone again, that he ACTUALLY SEES THE PERSON STEAL SOMETHING. NOT JUST ASSUMES.. ALSO, WE WERE DRESSED NICELY, and drive a pretty nice car, it is not like we looked homeless. But this person treated us as if we were. read more

I go here pretty regularly when I grab gas every week on my way to work. It's not a bad car wash and very convenient and quick. Today was the first time I went at night, and what a difference. The two guys working to an excellent job with my car, and I was surprised at how much effort they put into it. Joe and Farez did an amazing job, definitely was a hand car wash! I've been coming to this car wash for 12 yrs. Staff is friendly and happy. My husband and I have gotten to know the Rodrigues brothers, Oscar and Johnathan they've been here for 15 yrs. I've gotten to interact with the managers several times b/c when short handed they come and help. They do a good job for a drive through car wash, they brush tires and windows and what ever needs a little extra work. At the end they dry your car for you, which other drive through gas station car washes don't! Just thought I'd share the love. Friendliness, kindness and smiles go a long way. We've all dealt with angry employees with egos and attitudes. We gotta praise those who are humble and happy! read more
