I ordered the California Roll and the Crawfish Roll and even though the website says most can be made gluten free, I called to check. They were extremely kind and comforting to let me know that they take gluten allergies very seriously. I even ordered the dumpling sauce, soy sauce, and the teriyaki sauce to try. They have gluten free soy sauce and teriyaki sauce on hand, but since they didn't have gluten free dumpling sauce the owner hand made me a side of it from scratch just for my order!! He also threw in some spicy mayo for free because it is gluten free and they wanted me to try it. They confirmed upon arrival that I was picking up a gluten free order and had it marked on the receipt. Wonderful place and even more wonderful staff. Will definitely return.

Been wanting to try this place for a while & got to try it while I was in Cypress. When I went there were a variety of sushi options to choose from. I end up grabbing the Salmon Lover Combo, which had a spicy salmon roll, salmon maki roll, spicy salmon boat, & salmon nigiri. The salmon was fresh & not fishy. Even though it's refrigerated, the rice still remain soft & not too hard. Better than store bought sushi & reasonably priced.

Found a new place for vegan sushi! They have a TON of vegan menu items to choose from. We got the King Rangoon, vegan Gyoza, 50/50 vegan gyoza (half edamame, half regular), Benjamin V-roll, elote fuego V-roll, crunchy caterpillar, hurricane V-roll, shaggy dog V-roll, and tropical V-roll. There were more to choose from but I just didn't get the chance. Will definitely be back!

We drove about 40min to try this sushi and I must say that it was 100% worth it! The employees immediately came up and explained the layout/what is offered. The owner was also very kind and clearly passionate about his work! He gave many amazing recommendations and that they were also able to make it to order. They also offer catering for parties/events. The fish tasted fresh and their housemade sauces were absolute perfection. The 7Friday Poke and the Koi were our top favorite. We would be more than happy to drive up to visit again!

First and foremost, HOW HAVE I NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE?! Located right down the street from me on Barker Cypress, this Texas Family owned business is a yelpers Haven! Everything from Bao to fresh sushi poke bowls, this gem has it all. Also, just from being in there for 20 minutes I can tell the owner genuinely loves serving his guests. Super welcoming to all who enter. Whomever had a hand in making the menu is genius. Hearing all the raves online, I just had to come and find out what this place is about! While you may be waiting an extra 15+ minutes for your order, know that the food will come out chilled and fresh. 7Friday Sushi is definitely a small place more zoned in for pickup only, but does have a little sitting area. After glancing at the menu, I immediately saw their sushi taco. Ingredients: Crunchy panko nori, crab salad, avocado, tempura shrimp, spicy raw salmon, cream cheese, green onions, cilantro, fried onions, cucumber, spicy mayo, and teriyaki sauce. As a half Mexican, I just had to sweep in for it. When I brought it home and unboxed it, a PHATTY tear immediately started coming. It was just what I needed to end my week. Devoured the entire sushi taco within 5 minutes. While this Sushi Taco is robust, so am I. I could have had 2 more but had to stop. This taco could feed 1 normal human and they would be satisfied. Ya girl is built different. #BBF (BIG BACK FRIDAY) 7Friday Sushi is highly recommended and I'm sure this will be my weekly stop.

After going back a few times through tour the year... The customer service is still excellent, from New workers to the owners (seemed like it). I can definitely taste a better quality when I ask if they can make it fresh. The different types of sushi they have is awesome to have. I also think it's great how they can accommodate you on your order. Good stuff!

The quality of the food and the freshness of the food is AMAZING. All the sushi's we have ordered have always been delicious with lots of flavor. I always love the unique and creative selection. The owner always goes above and beyond for his clients. He definitely has exquisite customer service.

    - this spot is perfect for grabbing sushi on the go; they have a variety of boxes prepped and ready for a quick pick-up. however, if you prefer to dine in, there are a few seats available, which is what i did. - i went with the salmon lover combo, and it did not disappoint. the salmon nigiri was particularly impressive--each piece featured a generous slice of salmon atop perfectly seasoned rice. the fish was fresh and flavorful, complementing the rice's subtle sweetness and slight tang. - it was a delightful treat that made my quick lunch truly satisfying. highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

The servers are attentive and friendly, and they make sure that your water glass is filled. The garlic butter chicken wings are simply spectacular! The chicken wings are ginormous, the batter is light and crispy and the garlic butter sauce pairs so well with chicken. The salt and pepper squid was piping hot and the batter was also light and airy, and the calamari was cooked perfectly. The beef was pricey but absolutely worth it! The waiter asked how we wanted the cook on the beef, and the beef was a perfect medium rare. The meat was so tender and flavorful with an excellent char and the sauce was so flavorful. I really appreciate the abundance of vegetables that come with each dish and the portion sizes are quite generous. My diagnosis: come here for perfectly executed Vietnamese staples!

The food can be a bit pricey ($35 for bo luc lac, for example) but flavors are great overall and the service is also really good! It's not super high end in terms of decor but certainly well above average and pretty nice compared to the standard Vietnamese restaurant. (For example, yes to white table cloths, but they are layers of plastic.) My quick rapid fire recommendations: 1. Chicken wings - they are absolutely ginormous, amazing flavor, and totally worth the price though they seem expensive on the surface. 2. Fried calamari salt and pepper - delicious! I can't quite describe it ... a hint of funnel cake batter flavor? There's something quite special about this one and it's quite tasty. 3. Shaking beef (bo luc lac) - amazing! Ask for the beef to be medium rare as opposed to medium. Dip those beef chunks into the lime dipping sauce and oh my... you're in heaven. The service is also top notch and not your standard Asian restaurant level. Located off West Little York, close to 290 - it's a hidden gem in Northwest Houston not too far from the city. The space is bigger than you would expect so it's also great for large parties if you can reserve the space. Enjoy!

The menu was quite expansive but cohesive with Italian/ Asian fusion. I got seated and immediately was given a menu and cold water in a stainless steel cup. I ordered the sliced beef udon soup version (there's also an option for stirfy) but granted, today was cloudy and slightly windy so it called for soup. After placing my order, I was given the proper utensils and shortly after, a large piping bowl was placed in front of me! Flavor was good and the sliced beef was addicting.. the portion was a bit much for lunch to me so I had to ask for togo and the waitress came out and put it away for me in a custom togo bag that sealed so that was fun to leave with. The waitress was certainly very tentative and made sure other guests had their waters filled at all times so I'd love to come back to try out their other menu items like their omurice or their lobster creamy rice. I remembered it was nearby, so I told my boyfriend we might as well take advantage of the deal and try somewhere new while we were in the area. When we got there, the place looked renovated. There were a couple tables inside and the ordering counter was immediately on the left when you walked in. The workers at the counter were helpful while we ordered. We both ended up getting the kbbq chicken bowls. My boyfriend got the spicy version and I got the regular with added cabbage because I love the little crunch it gives. The food came out pretty quickly and we decided to eat inside. Honestly, the bowls were good and very filling for the size we ordered. It's a pretty simple meal , rice on the bottom and chicken on top ,but sometimes simple just works. While I was eating it, I kept telling my boyfriend the chicken tasted super familiar and I couldn't figure out why at first. Then it finally hit me, it tastes almost identical to the teriyaki chicken from Panda Express. And honestly, I didn't mind that at all because I actually like that flavor. So if you've had Panda Express teriyaki chicken before, that's probably the closest comparison I could give. One thing that definitely made the bowls even better was adding the soy sauce packets they had on the side. That extra flavor pulled everything together for me. Overall, I enjoyed it. It's not anything super fancy or life-changing, but it was a simple, tasty meal that didn't feel too heavy, which I personally liked. I told my boyfriend if we're ever back in the area, we'd definitely stop by again.

The K'Pop Chicken (cute pun) is a popcorn chicken version of Korean fried chicken with a sticky glaze that has a bit of a kick to it, while the Soy Glazed Chicken is (what I think is) their grilled option, which tastes exactly as it sounds.
