This is now my 2nd visit and I'm dissatisfied with my order because it was not prepared accurately. *Accuracy is posted on a sign in this restaurant . While placing my order I simply asked that my side be substituted for shrimp fried rice the cashier confirmed that was fine, but added fries to the order. When I received it and told her the issue she stated I'm unable to get shrimp fried rice only cajun rice with no proteins (ie. Shrimp, sausage, crawfish). I reminded her that she confirmed my order just moments ago. The decide to take the fries off, give me premade cajun rice (white rice fried with eggs and onions) and put the shrimp I order on top. This is a new restaurant and my first time here. I noticed it when I was driving down the freeway. It is easy to get to even from the Kroger's parking lot. Lol I couldn't find it on Yelp so I added it so I can have the phone number readily available for next time. The interior is small with about 8 tables so I guess it's mostly for to go orders which is fine with me. The order taking process was a little chaotic. They have a couple of teenagers working the registers and it seemed like they were learning as they go but they were very friendly. It took a good 20 minutes to get my order because they were so busy. People were constantly pouring in, but it was the dinner hour when I was there. Now on to the food, I ordered 2 fried catfish dinners with shrimp and they were so good. The catfish were huge and very delicious. They had a Cajun seasoned cornbread batter on them and we're fried to perfection. The fish was meaty and flaky just like I like it. The shrimp had a light batter on them and were also fried to perfection. They were a good size and plump and juicy. I gave 4 stars just because of the order process and the long wait for the food but it is worth it. I will be back. They have a huge menu so I have lots to try. The prices were reasonable. I've been to most of the 7 Spice locations and I'd say this one needs the most improvement. I've had a couple of issues with my orders but most recently I ordered a simple, boiled seafood combo with potatoes and corn. I get to my car and there was no corn or potatoes (thank God I checked before I left). I immediately went back in and told some guy that I was missing corn and potatoes so he got it, came back and then asked me if I had already paid for it. I thought, "Duh! How else would I have the food in my hand?" Anyways, the wait is always long, the shrimp is overcooked sometimes, and you're bound to have issues with your order. To 7 Spice: Step your game up! Tried 7Spice yesterday 7/6. We ordered to go 3 piece Chicken Tender Combo for my son, 2 piece Catfish 6 Shrimp with fries for my husband and Catfish Poboy with fries for myself. The food was piping hot when we picked it up. We live 15 minutes away so by the time we got home the poboy bread was soggy with a rubber consistency. They also dress it up with sauce,lettuce and tomatoes so they of course were warm. The fries are nothing to brag about. I would recommend trying other sides. Hubby said the fish and shrimp were seasoned okay. We would definitely try it again, but stay and enjoy it. read more

This was my first time at 7Spice, the crawfish and boudin were really good. The Service was horrible and the cashiers weren't being professional, when we first walked in both cashiers never greeted us and we're talking really loud among each other. Both cashiers were on there phone when I was ordering and had to repeat my order 3 times! When we sat down to wait on our food and was called to get our food the lady from the kitchen called out my name and would say it wrong and when corrected she kept proceeding to say it wrong and with an attitude, and She would also call other people different names. When we were eating we saw that one of the cashiers were on break and the other cashier would come up to the girl on break and pick at her food and then go attend the people that would come in without washing her hands!! I ordered the blackened Cajun catfish with a garlic infused Texas toast and fried rice. They threw in the cocktail and tarter sauces, adding some extra bit of flavor to the food. The portion size of the two fillets I received was great for the $9.99 price but overall, the dish won't manage to stand out in my memory thanks to the so-so flavoring. I would recommend eating your food there while it's piping hot because bringing it home to go can take away from the freshness. Ambience is not bad but service can surely use improvement as the staff looked overwhelmed with the Saturday night busy period and weren't helpful in facilitating the ordering process. Radiance took our order at the counter and she was amazing she made great suggestions and I loved my food. The spicy boiled combo had my nose running and eyes tearing up the entire up. They had the games on which is good for football fans. I'm giving them three stars because over all they're Cajun rice is so good ! The butter sauce is yummy! If you're familiar with lotus crack sauce it's very similar. I've only had the 7 spice flavor ez peel shrimp here and that's really good too . The down side to this location is the service ! I am officially hooked to this 7Spice location! I've been a totally of 4 times within the last 2 months and each time has been great tasting each and every time! Their butter sauce is definitely for the win! It taste amazing and I love how they have different combos that includes with 1/2 snow crab & shrimp with corn and potatoes or you can get the full 1lb snow crab & shrimp with corn and potatoes! I would suggest if you get the (King Combo) which is the full 1lb. You can for sure share it with someone. It comes with more than enough for just one person. I ordered the Duo Delight, which consists of a 1/2 lb of Snow Crabs, Boiled Shrimp, 4 potatoes and a corn. Your choices are mild, hot, and spicy with a garlic butter flavor or 7Spice flavor. Check your order before you leave. If they short you, and apparently they will, they will not refund your credit card for missing items over the phone. You will be required to go back to get a refund, or you are just out of luck. The fact that a mistake was made is acceptable. It happens. Food is ok but the employees need training in the front. The point of a call in order is to not wait in the "to order" line when there is a sign that says "pick up". I'm in the back of the line. I notice the "pick up" line is empty so I'm thinking great. I called in so I should be able to grab and go. I walk to the front and the young lady tells me it doesn't matter if it's to go or pick up. Now everyone is looking at me like I skipped the line lol. Can you just look at your own sign or speak up and take control of the situation. Very dirty. Staffs are very unprofessional. Tables are sticky. Staffs do not use gloves when picking and handling food. Me and my sister went here a few weeks ago and I will NEVER GO BACK. 1st off it's a bunch of children running the place. They had someone bday inside the place so when I called to place my order the girl couldn't hear me. I went in and of course the phone order was wrong. There are kids running in and out, loud as hell!. The girls behind the counter were supposed to be taking orders but instead trying to flirt and talk to boys outside the restaurant.
