Review long time coming but dis IS the date spot. Would if I still dated but for all the yougins out dere, come around sunset, yall can see the bridge :) Service always the best (can get quite busy). Haven't had the lil finger foods but i don't doubt. Tell me otherwise :)

Omg! What isn't there not to love about the Clayton club? Great vibes, great views and fantastic cocktails and food. To get to the Clayton club you have to enter through Hyatt Centric and catch an elevator to the top of the building. There you will enter doors to the most relaxing place to get drinks. You can sit either inside or sit out at the roof top. The server will come and take your order. The cocktails are on the pricey side, yet creative and delicious. I love coming here when I don't want to be in a loud bar and Just want to relax and enjoy drinks.

First time out here for a girls night. This spot is inside the Hyatt hotel in downtown. In which you gotta go up to the 6th floor to the lounge. This spot is trendy and comfortable and visually appealing. We got her around 8:30 pm on a Saturday and was not busy. We sat inside for a few before exploring the outdoor area. We ordered the sharable hummus plate, the pork belly bites and I order the CC old fashion drink as my friend ordered the crows nest. Both drinks eye bourbon and pretty strong. The outdoor rooftop was nice and cozy but we couldn't really see much of anything besides some tall buildings. Maybe we're too short or just where the rooftop is located. Anywho our was nice to relax with few bites and drinks. Service was quick and didn't have any issues! By around 10ish there are more people but still not super crowded.

This is a Sexy rooftop with delicious craft cocktail. I love the fireplace and being able to see the Friday night fireworks

Looking for a speakeasy...on a roof? Clayton Club has that covered with its elegant yet approachable craft cocktails and mixologists. My advice for the best value is to start HH downstairs at 7th St. Standard on a Wednesday before moving up to CC at 5 for its Sunset Sips promotion, where they offer $5, $7 and $9 drinks till 7 p.m. Great service and drinks!

This is located on the 6th floor. The inside is fancy and i love the vibes of the bar. The chairs are so royalty here. . The patio was modern and has a nice view of downtown. It was hot on a 95 degree day. Sit in the shade but when sun goes down it is perfect to stay up here and drink up. . The server was thoughtful with giving us ice water without asking so we are hydrated and don't pass out. . They have a summer sunset beer for 5 dollars going on every wed from 5 to 7 pm. Which is a great deal to take advantage. . Overall I had a wonderful time with some friends and night out. It's a vibe here with great service and I can't wait to come back for more and try the food items. Hope this helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.

I am so ecstatic that I finally visited Clayton Club. It is on the 6th floor of the hotel. I love the view of the city from above. We sat outside on the patio during the perfect summer night. Drinks contained a good amount of alcohol content and it tasted great. A great place for summer nights. I will definitely visit again.

We started our girls birthday outing upstairs at the Clayton Club Lounge. The lounge offers a modern, minimalist aesthetic--clean lines, and a sleek finish--but the ambiance falls short on comfort. Seating feels more for aesthetic statement than an invitation to relax, with impractical layouts that make lingering less enjoyable. There was one other group there when we arrived but it was too loud for us all to hear our conversations. It does have indoor and outdoor seating (but it was too warm to be outside) while we there. The food and drinks were delicious. The female server was kind and had great recommendations. She went on break after our order was placed. It took too long for us to receive our food and drinks. We went downstairs for food and we throughly enjoyed the food, ambiance and service was significantly faster downstairs.

Clayton Club is a vibe! Also a bit of a hidden gem as it is on the 6th floor of the Hyatt Hotel. They serve food, drinks, and beautiful views of downtown sacramento via the rooftop. Clayton does have a crafty collection of cocktails and wine. Their list isn't overwhelming with options but they do have a full bar so you can craft drinks to your liking - service is amazing for that. The food is yummy as well, my favorite dish I tried were the pork belly bites. If you're in the area, would highly recommend this spot for happy hour or for a wine down.

The vibe was great. Fire pit, lounge seating, trendy music and beautiful city views. Service was very attentive and professional.

After having a delightful time at nearby bar Legend Has It (feel free to reference my review if interested), my friend and I made the short walk over to the Hyatt Centric hotel which houses the Clayton Club rooftop cocktail lounge. Upon arriving at the sixth floor lounge, we were greeted by a gentleman at a podium whom instructed us that there was open seating. Although there was indoor seating, we wanted to sit outside so that we could take in the beautiful backdrop of the well-lit downtown high-rise buildings. Since it was a chilly night, we were grateful to find fireside seating. Roughly five minutes after being seating, a friendly employee by the name of Gabriella greeted and provided us with menus. Even though the bar can make any cocktail, I opted to order the flavorful and holiday season-appropriate Spiced Cider. Less than 10 minutes later Gabriella delivered our drinks as my friend and I were engaged in conversation. Since there was a country concert at the nearby Golden 1 Center, I was anticipating folks rushing the lounge to enjoy a quick drink before attending the concert; however, it appeared that the Clayton Club may be a hidden gem at the moment. I enjoyed my time at Clayton Club and look forward to making a return visit with a couple of friends!

The Clayton Club is a hidden gem. Located on the sixth floor of the Hyatt Centric, it's a rooftop bar- but not on the very top of the building. I've stopped in a few times for a drink and had their Chicken Tandoori Lollipops and Flatbread, which are both very tasty. I prefer to come during off times when it's not as crowded, and it will get packed so be prepared if you have a group. There is an indoor area and outdoor area. Both are comfortable and welcoming and have their own moods. Inside is kind of dark and romantic and outside is open and airy, with a bit of whimsy. It gets a bit of a breeze outside but take note of the weather because when it's hot or super sunny you'll feel it out there. This is a great spot for after work or after dinner drinks, date nights or just a chill spot for a cocktail.

Ask the Community - Clayton Club

    Is there music?

Best to call them for schedule. Mostly piped-in music. Sometimes live DJ, supposedly live jazz too on occasion.

Not quite sure if I missed it, but is there happy hour?

I do not believe so. They are not open every day, and I believe they do not open until 5 pm on evenings they open. The bar/restaurant on first floor of the hotel has happy hour 2 to 5 pm every day I believe.…

Planning on having my 30th here, can family member 20 years of age attend?

Everyone in the Clayton Club must be 21 years of age or older. Thanks for checking!

Are you able to order drinks that aren't on the menu (full bar?)? And is there an indoor area or is it only the rooftop area?

Yes you can. There is an indoor lounge area as well as an outdoor rooftop area.

The interior is dark and light simultaneously, with its rich textiles and colors, high ceilings and the large south-facing window on the long exterior wall. Really nicely done and quite inviting. Travis mixed up what could very well have been the best Old Fashioned we've ever had. It's not my preferred cocktail, but if more were like this one, that may be another story. I opted for the Kumquat Kiss, which was delicious and different. Besides that Old Fashioned, the Hash Brown Lyonnaise really stole the show. Pillow-light hash brown sticks (how did they do that?!) with a scrumptious onion dip with crispy shallots and finely chopped chives. This is one of my top happy hour dishes of the year. Just wow! Try it yourself and tell me you don't agree. The Grilled Prawns missed the mark for me a bit, although the husband liked them. Tasty, but just not as much of a star as the other dish. Only suggestion is to have a happy hour menu for bites as well as beverages, as is found on the website. This would help avoid the need for staff to present a dinner menu (which admittedly, I was confused by) and acknowledge that the first course options are all available but at no happy hour discount (which felt a bit awkward for all involved). Overall, a delightful discovery!

This spot is going to become THE place to be on K street once people know about it…read more I was in the area and happened to remember they recently opened this brand new spot so I decided to check it out. I remember seeing it mentioned on the news too. I got there when it opened at 7pm so it was pretty quiet, but I got a good feel and vibe from the place. The manager also interacted with me and told me that just last night, the place had some popular DJ and packed the place in. He showed me a video of what the scene looked like and all I can say is wow (in a good way). The best way I think I could describe this spot would be a more intimate Las Vegas night club on the strip while not compromising the quality of cocktails and providing a multi-sensory experience of lights, sounds and energy. I left when things started to get busy but I am confident in saying that you won't be disappointed and feel like you got your money's worth for sure.... especially when they will be having events there. If you get there shortly after it opens, I think you can count on more of a lounge sort of vibe. When it starts getting later or there's a DJ spinning (especially a well known one), then the place turns into an upscale nightclub. Circling back to my experience, I tried their "Plot Twist" cocktail which consists of things like bourbon, lemon, honey, fig jam and walnut and it was one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. Nicely balanced, smooth, inviting and little to no bite. Just a damn good cocktail that I really enjoyed. There were three bartenders there which were Karla (who made my drink), Ian (who made my second drink that I can't remember what the name was), and Danny. They were all really nice, fun and outgoing bartenders that made me feel welcomed while also maintaining a fun demeanor. I asked if it was ok with them to take their pic since some people don't like that and they were cool with it. The bar seats being a little small were surprisingly comfy and tested out the lounge seating which is also comfy and provides perfect views of everything going on (in case you ever want to reserve a spot). There is no bad seat in the house, the music system is very clear with high end audio, and overall you can tell that a lot of thought and effort was put into this place by people who know what they are doing. A couple of other things to note is that the menu they have on their counter does not display all of the cocktails. There are more on their website which you can look up by going onto their website. When they are in their busy hours, you can reserve spots and get bottle and I think that if you know it's going to be a busy night, it will be worth it to do with a group. There will probably be a door charge later in the night so be prepared for that, however I did see on their website that they do have a guestlist so take advantage of that! They do have a dress code so when in doubt, just dress to impress and you should have no trouble getting in. The average cocktail is around $15 and think it's reasonable for the kind of cocktail you will be able to get. Archive is open on certain days so be sure to double check that they are open before going. Ultimately, if you haven't been yet, this is one place you should definitely check out at least once. If you're more into the lounge vibe, get there early. If you're more into the clubbing vibe, get there a little later or check out their events for the ultimate experience. I will definitely be back and this place is raising the bar on K Street and whole area. Oh yeah, and lastly, they do accept tap to pay including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay as well as credit/debit cards and cash. Thanks for the great time guys!
