    Lobster Fried Rice
    Lisa S.

We ate here in celebration of a birthday and it was perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is light and colorful. The stained glass art near the bar was beautiful. Loved the giant fish art and glass coral-lIke lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated at a booth for private conversation. Very cozy and lovely[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was wonderful. Never rushed us. Walked us through the menu. His suggestions were right on. We started with the crab cake and shrimp cocktail. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. The cocktail sauce with the shrimp had a kick to it. Very fresh. For my entree, I chose Barramundi. It was served with spinach and white beans. The nice crisp on the outside of the fish combined with the rest of the plate provided a lovely mix of tastes and textures. Very good. All others enjoyed their entrees very much. We shared a side of lobster fried rice but my meal was enough and I didn't try it but all others loved it. The sides are perfect for sharing. We finished with two desserts. The chocolate one was described by our server as 'count chocula-like' and he was right on. The marshmallows and crispy chocolate coating on the mousse was decadent. We also had the praline puff which was huge. Very light and tasty. They offer valet parking but we found street parking right across the street on a Sunday night. It's definitely a higher end restaurant. Our bill for 4 was over $500 but it was an exceptional experience in atmosphere, service, and especially the quality and taste of food. We will definitely be back. Loved it.

So far it's been pretty amazing New England 100% cream chowder is one of the best things I've ever tasted. Definitely going get that again! The king crab ravioli is outstanding in a subtle and understated way. Delicious Swordfish was a large size portion and paired well with fresh grilled baguette bread. This fish was more than adequate...pretty good, but I wish I had tried something different. I think I was most satisfied with the crunchy crisp outside texture. I think it grew on me as I worked my way to the more crispy edges at the tip of the cut. The crew in the kitchen are fun and helpful. The servers are spunky, real, humble and proficient. They work well together as a team. Not snobby French waiters here! All in all, I really can't wait to come back and try out some more delicious items on their expansive menu. Good dining!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great food, great service and a beautiful location!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So pretty. The bartender is great with her pours. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I needed a nice way to relax and this was perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wish I lived near here lol. Until next time. Perfect tacos and perfect wine.

Ambiance and decor 10/10 Service 10/10 Now on to what I ate: Grilled oysters 8/10- could of use more flavor but I loved the crispy chorizo Mussels 9/10- loved the curry broth Lobster bisque 10/10- SO MUCH flavor and the croutons were crisp and garlicky Whole snapper 7/10- lacked flavor but cooked to perfection We went on NYE and they were out of quite a few items so I would definitely like to return when it's not as busy. There was a mishap with the waiter and he offered us free food and wine to make up for it, great service always gets me!

They have valet parking for $15 or else metered street parking. Once you walk in you're welcome with a great ambiance and a display of fresh seafood at the bar. Went there for a birthday celebration on a Wednesday evening and it was a little busy but our waitress was always there when needed. Everything on the menu was delicious which I expected since the seafood is fresh! They do have a few steak options for those that don't eat seafood! I would go back again and try other dishes. The red snapper was so big it could easily feed 3 people!

I've been here twice and the service is always amazing. They go out of their way to talk you through everything, and I left with extra knowledge every time. The Oysters are amazing, and the lobster bisque was so fresh I was instantly wowed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a great date night vibe on the inside and the decor is top notch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great meal! Lots of variety. Server was friendly and knowledgeable. It's beautiful inside with under the sea inspired decor. Lots of seating and private seating if needed.

Awesome food! I'm usually not a big seafood eater but all the food I tried was excellent. We had the grilled octopus as an appetizer. The grill flavor made the octopus excellent. For the entree I had the swordfish and a side of the lobster rice. I usually am deterred from seafood due to the "fishy" taste but the swordfish didn't have any of that weird taste. Finally, got some pineapple upside down cake which was also excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Was pretty empty for a Friday night but not sure why as this was the best seafood I've had.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked the layout of the restaurant and the bar area was pretty cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The parking was standard valet service or parking in a parking garage and walking vibe.

The best salmon I ever ate! My second favorite item was the grilled octopus, it was not chewy and melts in your mouth! Our server was very friendly and attentive! Couldn't remember what kind of oysters we had but they were very fresh and delicious! Definitely coming back!

A lovely restaurant with excellent seafood and fish dishes and stellar service. Definitely a place to go to treat yourself or celebrate a special occasion! I went here with a group for an anniversary dinner. There was not one bad dish. We basically tried one of everything and there were only rave reviews. What stood out to me the most was the frito misto, whole snapper, and caramel ice cream. Others in my group loved the oysters, octopus, crab ravioli, Bouillabaisse, and sea bass. We were informed the pastry chef could do a cake, so we took our chances and were so amazed! Chef Jeremy took carrot cake and almond poppy cake and harmonized them with a luscious cream cheese frosting. Our server was attentive and friendly. She was upbeat and helped create a fun and relaxing atmosphere for us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous. The decorations and lighting are unique and fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you for everyone at 801 Fish for amazing food and amazing service. You made the 50th anniversary dinner a special one for my group!

Food 5/5 - I came here middle of the week for the lunch date and had a great meal. The Sesame Chicken Salad was packed full of flavor and very filling. The Lemon Cheesecake was just the right size for a mid day sweet tooth. Excited to go back and try other menu items Service / Ambiance 5/5- The ambiance in the inside is beautiful and very top notch for a seafood restaurant. Our server Sam was wonderful and friendly. Food came out within a timely manner. Will definitely be returning.

Went here for an early dinner before the Billie Eillish concert Sunday night and everything was fabulous! The service was top notch, all the seafood we had was fresh and the drinks were yummy! They stuff their own olives with blue cheese so you know the dirty martinis are amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very fancy vibes, would be great for a celebration![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Mussels
    Tim R.

Yeah, I had such high hopes for this place. The Clam Chowder had a over-powering bacon flavor to it. The mussels were good but the sauce/broth served with them had a very vague and generic flavor. I thought it was pumpkin but it turned out to be thai coconut curry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is attractive and the service is excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The mussel starter in coconut broth. Delicious

The general manager even came over to personally greet each table. We really felt like esteemed guests while dining here. The meal comes with bread and butter and a pickle/olive plate - Nothing to write home about. I wish the bread had been a little bit more elevated maybe like a grilled focaccia with whipped ricotta. I had been eyeing the "Louie" crab cappellini. It came out piping hot and it was so buttery and full of goodness. I do wish there was a little bit more spice to the dish as the butteriness was quite overwhelming. The crab portion was very generous. The crab was 10/10 succulent, juicy, and sweet. The sushi roll was $26 but the portion was quite big and I had a nice lobster flavor. The Filet mignon was cooked to medium rare perfection, and had a nice crust. Overall, a great choice for a fancy meal for celebrating a special occasion. Beware of prices that do add up $75-100/person but the experience was well worth the trip.

The place was very busy and had a good energy about it. I had the Jambalaya, which had chicken, sausage, and shrimp. It was pretty good and had a nice spicy kick. A good portion as well. Girlfriend had the shrimp etouffee with grits. It was nicely blackened and on a big bed of grits. Also spicy. Friend had the original lobster roll. He was surprised it came on Texas toast and not a roll. But he really enjoyed it. The dessert was a sinlme but delicious Cookit with ice cream. I recommend for restaurant week. And if you like seafood in the form of things like the lobster roll or shrimp etouffee that you don't get other places. I thought the jambalaya was fine but unremarkable. Not pictured here was the lobster mac and cheese. Which was only a small appetizer and I thought underwhelming (also, I don't like corn).

I'm usually a fan of seafood boils that have a thicker sauce consistency (like King Cajun), so if you're the same, you might want to skip. Their sauce is a bit on the more liquid side. I would say if you're gonna eat here, place your order online and pick up your food and head out.
