The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice. Love the decor. Service was adequate. The food was not great, ordered a club sandwich that was mostly just lettuce, tomato with a little bit of turkey and barely any bacon. The burger had an off taste to it. The cheese they serve taste like processed bulk cheese We ordered avocado and it was mostly brown. Overall it's not horrible, but it seems like they were trying to cut cost, and it affects the quality of the food. We didn't even finish our meals just wasn't appetizing.

Smoked salmon Benedict. Huge amount of food!

Quieter than I expected for a Sunday morning. We'd planned to eat at Huckleberries but their doors were chained. Service seems to be fast today, server is super friendly and helpful. I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict. Huge amount of food (at least for me). Pretty tasty! Smoked salmon, red onions, tomato, capers. I ordered the country potatoes side. Orange juice is fresh squeezed. Mark ordered California (loaded) scramble & hashbrowns (which could've been a little crispier) & side biscuits & gravy, which was a thin white gravy without sausage . Overall, food was fresh & tasty.

Breakfast. Chicken and waffle plate, Peanut butter and banana pancakes.

I've been meaning to leave a review. On the way back from my sisters house (who lives in San Leandro) we stopped at this spot for some breakfast. I was craving the chicken and waffles. My bf got the peanut butter and banana pancakes. Everything was delicious and freshly made. Presentation of food was immaculate. The servers were absolutely wonderful. I loved the way the inside of the cafe looked too. The only thing I would say is I wish the portion sizes were a bit bigger. Definitely would recommend this place for some yummy food!

I love this place! A great find on Yelp!! (1) Good food, reasonable prices, (2) friendly and prompt service; and a (3) nice, roomy and clean environment will keep me coming back! I'm not a big fan of American breakfasts as the food is typically heavy on the oil and butter, and almost always too salty. BUT NOT at 833 Brick Cafe!! We had a party of 2 and the DENVER Omelette came highly recommended. The server was quick and friendly, got us our water and coffee right away, then took our orders very quickly. Seamless great service! I ordered my omelette on the softer side and it came just that. The ingredients were fresh and tasty (seasoned just enough and not too salty; which is one of my biggest complaints of dining out). And the part that impressed me most is the hash brown--- browned perfectly with a slight crisp, and yet it is not greasy at all! What a delight! We stayed; enjoyed our cups of coffee (free refills!), and sat for a bit while dining... all relaxed in a nice in-rushed environment. Really enjoyed the food, service and ambience here. 5 STARS!

Love love loved it here! It was our anniversary and we decided to check out 833 brick cafe, because you know, yelp said so! Haha We wanted to try a fee things so we got: Meat lovers omelette-- PACKED with meat! Def worth it! Breakfast burrito- had a spinach tortilla and was yummy! Kids egg breakfast- this was honestly a lot for a kids meal and definitely worth the price! Strawberry banana Bwaffle-- ordered with no whip and no butter (though I'm sure it'd be delicious with it!) Biscuits and gravy- these came cut in half and perfect for sharing Overall, we had such a great experience with delicious food! AND ITS SUPER AFFORDABLE! We were shocked that our bill came out to around $55 for all that food. (That was like 2 entrees at another breakfast spot we tried recently )

I really liked the vegetarian omelet it was very good, the "hashbrowns" not so much and the biscuit was old and hard. The day I was there it was quiet the server/host/bartender and all around hardworking guy was cool. But I can't get passed those soggy potatoes they called hashbrowns. I will not be going back.

Although this was a tad off the freeway, it was easy to find with plenty of parking. There were beautiful trees & plants outside, which also surrounded the patio area. There was a good amount of seating inside as well as one gender neutral restroom. I thought the one seating counter with built-in phone chargers was awesome. The space was clean with a modern yet rustic feel. The employees were fairly friendly and made our drinks rather quickly. I got a matcha latte with oat milk & brown sugar vanilla syrup added. They had so many unique syrup options that I had a tough time ultimately deciding, but the brown sugar vanilla was honestly such a great choice. I'm an absolute matcha snob and make my own at home all the time; the one I had at Grounded was quite delicious and I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than most other coffee shops, which made me happy. My husband went simple with a cold brew coffee and said it had a good flavor with low acidity, which he very much enjoyed. Next time we have to drive to/from Oakland for work, we'll be stopping in again and my husband will likely be taking a bag of beans home too now that he knows the coffee quality was high. Great little gem in Livermore!

They sent us directions to pick up in the back, but we got a little lost. Leonard, the owner, came out to find us and introduced himself and shared a little about the food and their projects. He was such a nice guy with big plans for the food! Into the food itself - The tuna mayo onigiri was STUFFED. There was so much flavor in every bite. I was a little cranky you have to order in twos but afterwards that first bite, I'm glad I had a whole one to myself! We got the Portuguese sausage with musubi and chili oil. The chili oil had a lot of heat and flavor to it! I don't recommend the chili oil if you're picturing a light spice because it packs a punch. But if you like the fire, highly recommend! My partners favorite was the classic teriyaki spam with unagi and avocado. I really enjoyed the portion sizing of each item - created a really perfect bite. The unagi had an extra smokiness to it. I think it's probably prepared in house/not supermarket unagi - the taste was quite different from that! The chicken lumpia was crispy and perfectly seasoned - not too salty and savory. The Thai chili sauce wasn't too spicy at all either. We'd definitely be back to try more!

The quality honestly reminds me of the kind of musubi you'd get in Hawaii, similar to places like Iyasume. Ever since trying musubi in Hawaii years ago, I've been hooked, and Musubi Libre is one of the very few places here that really gives me that same feeling/experience I've had. While the musubi are absolutely amazing, and it is their namesake, the Mrs. And I really like the onigiri! It's surprisingly hard to find truly good onigiri here in the US that lives up to the quality of the ones you'd get in Japan. Leonard, the owner clearly puts a ton of effort into each. He's definitely perfected his craft. The Mrs. and I have ordered from here casually many times before on our days off. We've tried the tuna, mentaiko, and ume. Mentaiko is my personal fave. The tuna is excellent too, and the ume has a classic salty-tangy flavor that's unique and refreshing. It's a great option for vegetarians as well. Recently, we ordered from Leonard to have onigiri catered for our daughter's birthday party. We got those 3 flavors. Originally, we just wanted something unique for the adults alongside the chicken nuggets and pizza we got for the kids. Man, we are so glad we did. The onigiri was a massive hit! People absolutely loved it, including guests who weren't necessarily huge into Japanese food or culture. They disappeared FAST! Like so fast I didn't get to eat one myself! This place is seriously a hidden gem in the East Bay. Definitely stop by, try the musubi and onigiri, and say hi to Leonard, who is genuinely one of the nicest people/owners you'll meet.
