Shopping at Del Amo Mall is nice and stopping here for the first time was just ok. This Bakery has soft sweet bread and cakes and some good drinks. Having said that, the place is small inside and has outdoor seating. I don't know if having younger people working here is any reason for bad service, should never be the case. They appear not to have people skills and lack communication skills. Yes, I'm just as young and communicate much better than they did. The Mall when you come here.

This location was busy on a Saturday afternoon. The bread is always so soft & flavorful! The line went by fairly quick & if there's no tables available, they have standing tables which is nice The only sad thing is that their hotdog bread is half the size now 4 items for $10

Disappointed at their tiramisu cake. It's not even dipped in coffee. Not a true tiramisu

Mango Coconut Smoothie with added lychee jelly and boba. Ube Coconut Smoothie with added boba. Ham & Cheese and Pork sung bun.

Ordered Ube Coconut with boba, Mango Coconut with lychee jelly and boba. Ham & cheese and Porksung bun. I'm happy was able to get the breads today they sell fast. You know your at the right spot when the line is long and the food items sell out fast, people know where to go to get good food and affordable prices. The drinks reminds me of halo halo brought back memories that made me smile while drinking it. Ordered online the food was delivered with care and arrived fast.

Quick service, great Asian fusion pasties and coffee/tea drinks. Quick service. Clean bakery! There are several locations near me which makes it very convenient.

Stopped by for some quick pastries pick up and was slightly disappointed that they were already sold out of the coffee buns! I asked one of the bakers and were told they won't be making more for the day. Bummer! I grabbed the pork sung bun and egg tarts instead, which taste pretty similar to other locations.

I visited 85°C Bakery Cafe in Torrance for the first time today and fell in love w their desserts. Their ube mochi bread is a delicious highlight--soft, flavorful, and unlike anything you find elsewhere. Everything I tried was fresh and affordable, from individual cakes to savory buns--you get a ton of variety without breaking the bank. I also had a milk tea, which was fine but nothing to write home about--I'd love to see more boba drinks or unique tea options to pair with their breads. The café can get busy, and seating is limited, but service is quick and there's convenient parking. Also, it wasn't super clean and seating area wasn't super inviting. Overall, it's my go‑to for fresh, tasty baked goods at great prices. Just wish the beverage menu was as exciting as the pastries! Can't wait to try the cheesecake soufflé next time.

This after we sucked down so much baba and little liquid. Too much baba too much cream...wasn't cold.

Barista is super slow..like lazy slow. A long lined formed. Fills Boba about 1/2 the cup and I not much liquid to drink. Disappointed. I ate Boba instead of drank anything. I bought 6 breads n 1 taro milk w/boba.

    Yum. All mine!!!

My favorite place for my favorite drink, sea salt jasmine green tea. Not as sweet as it usually is, and the selection of pastries was not as good as usual. Only one counter person today, but not too busy and she was friendly and competent.

Another year, another visit. We needed to find a quick breakfast, and 85 Degrees C won the race. We picked out the Ham and Cheese, the Egg Tart Box, the White Chocolate Strawberry pastry, and the Mango Custard Bun. Then the drinks (Mango Strawberry Smoothie) and 85C Coffee. Service was good, the products were stocked well, the restaurant was CLEAN (thankfully) and the food was tasty. Ambiance was 85C all the way - photos on the wall, plus the food displays waiting for you to select your favorites and heat them up if you like. We enjoyed our visit.

March 2025 is the Strawberry Festival "Berry Sweet" Delights celebration !!! Great selection of bakery items, Asian style... meaning, fresh ingredients with less sweet sugary flavor to American or European counterpart bakery items like cakes and uses fluffy whipped cream over thick icing.

There were only a few tables and benches inside a somewhat L-shaped shop with a very narrow hall and one all gender restroom available. To be honest, I don't know what the hype was about. I ordered a golden hour expresso tonic and the frozen matcha. Both were good, but nothing that was inherently unique from other coffeeshops. My matcha was smoothly blended but definitely more on the milky side. My husband's tonic was refreshing and slightly citrusy, but not different than tonics we've tried at other shops. Due to the small space and random amounts of people standing around and just chatting and hanging inside the shop, I wouldn't come again unless it's a quick grab and go. Even then, not sure if it's worth the line or wait, but I guess some people seem to really like this place.

The logo looks like Chagee, the pink is reminiscent of Molly Tea, the fake olive tree is very Cha Redefine, and if I think really hard, the white pampas grass is Toro Tea. Or maybe I'm just schizophrenic, but it was an observation that I made to everyone. I believe ages ago this used to be a Happy Lemon, so this is an insane shift and change in what they offer and the vibes. It's very chill and a great place to hang out, catch up, or study and get work done. Lots of outdoor seating and a good amount of tables and small seating inside too. Ordering is done through a touchscreen kiosk and the drinks come out decently quickly too. Very efficient and friendly service. I got the: 1) Jade Peach Oolong Milk Tea: -I got this with no additional sugar and it automatically comes with their matcha tofu. Super unique and yummy topping. -Delicious white peach flavor, creamy and strong finishing tea taste. Reminds me of all of the aforementioned tea franchise heavy hitters that I know and love. Mai can hold its own. Without additional sweetness, this drink didn't end up tasting watered down or bland, which is super impressive. 2) Double Matcha: -I got this with their organic milk and it's their matcha on top of a matcha cream foam. I got this with no additional sugar (not recommend LOL), but I wanted to really see the quality of their matcha seeing how they won best matcha award and they're somehow in the same vicinity as Yamari. -If anyone even reads my reviews, I use a scaling method to rank matcha. If it's good matcha it's either a Yamari type or an Airoma type, and this scales much closer to Airoma, but it is VERY strong matcha. -This was actually the first time my friend and I got poisoned (like nauseous) from the matcha, meaning it's super high quality and strong. Never had this happened before, so you know that this is the good stuff. It might have been since it was a long day without dinner, or we might have needed it to be sweeter, but I can see why they won their award. I took a sip of my friend's Phin Drip Black Coffee and the Bac Xiu Marble Drip Iced Latte. Delicious coffee flavor without that "sourness" that some coffees have and even without added sweetness, it's not gross and bitter. I got some coffee to go for my dad and brother and they loved it too. We need one of these in the 626. New fav for the area. Definitely want to come back to try more drinks and maybe some of their pastries too.

You can tell they put a lot of effort into their food and drinks. As for the ambiance, it's perfect for those who want to hang out and catch up with friends/family or to study. When I visited, there were easily 5 other groups and individuals studying here. I have a big soft spot for banana flavored items. A BIG SOFT SPOT. Banana Cream Pie Latte - this one carries the biggest punch for banana lovers. Banana cream the entire way from start to finish. Not too sweet. Awesome foam top too. I highly recommend drinking these without the straw. Foam top drinks are best appreciated when you get a nice 50:50 ratio of the foam and drink. Banana Matcha Latte - the name speaks for itself. It's a nice mixture of both. So if you're looking to feel a little healthier with the matcha element, then go for it. This was probably the prettiest drink of the 3 that we had. Americano - delicious and got the job done here. I naturally enjoy Ethiopian and Colombian beans. I brew them often at home. I was definitely wide awake after these drinks lol Strawberrynana Waffle - If you LOVE belgian-style waffles like me, then you'll find yourself ordering this again and again. It wasn't too sweet but sweet enough to easily go through 2 or 3 of these plates if you're crazy enough. Banana Walnut Honey Bread - the best for last! I really loved eating brick toast growing up. There were so many stores back in the day that sold them, and now I can't find them as easily. In fact, Caffe Bene is the only place in the South Bay that I know that sells them. This one brought me back to the past and put a gigantic smile on my face. Delicious, perfectly sweet, balanced, and finished wanting more. Highly recommend!

One thing to note is that the tea shop plays fairly loud background music so it is hard to have a conversation unless you are sitting right next to the person you are talking to. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items are Strawberry Matcha W/ Milk Foam, Strawberry Taro Milk Tea, and Caramel Cheese Latte. Other featured items include Popcorn Chicken, Biscoff Shake, and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. *** Strawberry Matcha Milk Tea (100% sweetness - $6.20): The drink was slightly too sweet for me, but the overall flavor was there. Chicken Teriyaki Bowl (Charbroiled Chicken Teriyaki + comes with white rice, chopped lettuce, macaroni salad and grilled fresh pineapple - $13.90): The bowl was surprisingly better than I had expected. The bowl had a slice of grilled pineapple and decent macaroni salad. I was actually able to split the bowl into two smaller meal portions. It was certainly a lot better than the teriyaki bowl from Flame Broiler. *** A solid 3.5-star for the drink and rice bowl. I personally slightly prefer their rice bowl over their drinks and overall this is a nice neighborhood tea shop to grab a quick meal or get a-okay drinks as there aren't too many tea shop options in this part of Torrance (closer to the city of Carson).
