Come here once a year from Colorado. We make sure to come here. Great food and the ice cream shop next door is an amazing treat too.

We sat outside with a great view of the sun setting (not a direct view of the sunset or the ocean). It's walking distance to the beach for a stroll before or after. Pay for parking is across the street and not too expensive. We had 4 specialty rolls and all were really good, the heartbreaker and red face were our favorites. read more

Very small place, easy to over look but maybe a locals secret. The service was amazing. Everyone was so kind and speedy as well. We over order, a dish of chicken fried rice, pai thai noodles, 5 different sushi rolls. There were like 10 to 12 pieces to each roll which is not the normal in Texas. Usually 6 to 8. The fried rice may have been the best I ever had and the sushi was delicious! Glad we didn't judge this book by its cover! read more

I've eaten A LOT of sushi and this was the BEST I've ever had. We wound up ordering a second of this roll because it was that damn good but I can't remember the name of it. All ingredients, especially the fish, were extremely fresh. The only downside is how small the restaurant is on the inside and the tables are very close together but it was worth it. I liked this place. The location is great, right off the ocean on Atlantic. The service was good, friendly and efficient. What didn't thrill me was it's limited variety of sushi. The hot food, Japanese or Thai or whatever other cuisine, seemed much more extensive, which I found odd since it's supposed to specialize in Sushi, as the name suggests. Definitely the best sushi restaurant in the area. It is absolutely very small, so expect that when you go. We sat outside. The street isn't too busy but there is a fair amount of foot traffic because it is between the beach and parking. The food quality was excellent presentation was perfect we have a lobster roll. Awesome food, great waitress! We had two noodle soups dishes both we're flavorful and the am egg pan was awesome. The flavors we're on point you won't be disappointed! Well this is my new happy place. We sat under a palm tree between the sunset and the beach having our icy, oversized Sapporos. Sirius XM Chill station kept us company until our perfectly ponzued gyoza and garlicky wonton soup arrived. Around us we saw food we wish we had room for arrive plate after plate. Next we had our perfect shrimp yakisoba which my boyfriend dubbed "the best noodles" he's had. Before we started licking up the sauce, our towering, 10 piece spicy scallop dynamite roll arrived. Definitely try the Pomoano Tower, but I stand by my original review to simply tell the chef what you don't like and then let his creativity tantalize your palate. I really enjoyed eating at this establishment a couple nights ago. A friend and I arrived there at 10:10pm. They close at 10:30pm and yet still sat us. The service was lightning fast. For an appetizer we order seaweed salad and spring rolls. The spring rolls tasted fresh and never frozen. For dinner I order the house Sake, which was great, and two sushi rolls. The rainbow and the red face roll. Both were amazing. The fish was fresh and tasty. She ordered chicken Pai Tai. She said it was tasty but a little mild. Probably mild because they didn't use a lot of salt, which is a great thing. I would go there again. I didn't give this spot five stars because I felt like it might have been just a little expensive for what we ate. read more

Ok so the sushi here is great. My husband and I are from NY and have not been able to find any sushi places we like until this one. The atmosphere is very cool and chill. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the service. The waitress wasn't very friendly or helpful. She gave us drinks without straws and was more concerned about getting the guy next to us more drinks. This was our first time here some suggestions would have been helpful which she heir giving the guy next to us. We also waited forever for our rolls. At the end she did warm up a bit and we will be returning since the food was very good. read more

I drove from boca to have dinner with and meet four local clients of mine. Someone had reccomended this place for sushi/ Japanese etc. I arrived first and told them I needed a table for 5 or 6 people. They put me at a two top and said when they arrive, a larger table would be put together. A little bit of a turnoff right at the start but what the heck, I went with it. I found the staff and manager to be pushy, fast and non romantic. If you are in a haste to close up, you should say something to the patron that is bringing people TO you Most large parties want to sit and relax! My wife and I live on the beach a short walk from this gem of a restaurant. We do not eat sushi even though our friends love to order it. We love their shrimp tempura and stir fry dishes and many others. We always sit out doors when nice out and enjoy our dinner and watch all the people strolling along the boulevard and along the beach. Honestly some of the best sushi I've ever had! I went with a group of 4 and all of us are major sushi lovers, every one of us LOVED IT! The pompano tower to start was so fresh and The flavor was delicious!! We also ordered a chicken pad Thai to share and we devoured it! Our favorite rolls were the spicy scallop dynamite roll and the soulmate roll. Sooooo good! The other rolls (blue dream roll on special and phat boy roll) were also both fantastic but the other two really stood out. Make sure you save room for dessert because the tempura ice cream is amaaaaazing! The service was also on point! And it was 8 on a Saturday. Couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you yelpers!
