They remodeled a few years ago and the white tiled dining room is pretty spacious and comfortable now. When we recently ordered several large pies for the office, they delivered a 1/2 hr earlier than expected and the pies were still pretty hot. There were 3 large cheese pies, 1 pepperoni and 1 veggie, but the clear favorite was the chicken bacon ranch pie drizzled with ranch dressing because that disappeared quickly. C'mon, who can refuse bacon? Plus they do a slightly thicker crust than other pizzerias in the neighborhood, they generously pile on the cheese almost as thick as the crust and the number of pepperoni per slice was a lot. The wedge/hero sandwiches are alright, but nothing spectacular. I do want to try the pasta meals though, when we order-in during late night shifts at the office.

I happened to be in Harrison for a celebration of life, and was happy to see this place located right across the street from the funeral home. My husband and I went in hoping to find a quick slice before heading back to Boston, and this spot did not disappoint! The slices were varied and heated to perfection (code for piping hot) and the crust crispy and oh so delish. The spot was clean, had plenty of seating, and the staff could not have been nicer. Even my husband was thrilled and kept going back to sample a new flavor. For $5 a slice, it couldn't be beat. If I find myself back in the area, I would definitely return.

When my food arrived, however, my requested utensils were nowhere to be found. (The UberEats driver also just left everything outside when I had specified that he call. I realize this part isn't the restaurant's fault, but the delivery app isn't doing them any favors. I did complain on UberEats, but they are useless.) So if we hadn't scrounged and found a spoon and knife--best we could do--I'd have had no way at all to eat my meal. The chicken parm itself was solid, as was the broccoli rabe. Sadly, the tiramisu was partly frozen. I'm assuming they'd taken it out earlier in the day and it hadn't entirely thawed. I had some of it, but once I clocked the freeze, I didn't want to waste my carbs. I'm sure this would have been a better experience if I'd eaten in, as at least I'd have been assured of utensils, and I could have sent back the dessert and perhaps gotten something else.
