Tried the regular and margherita slices. Prices seemed steep for what the slices were. Margherita slice was pretty good. Big glops of cheese, which I didn't like as much. But the bites of sauce and cheese together were pleasant. 4/5 there. Basil was really just garnish and didn't have a real presence on the slice, which was a bummer. Plain slice was pretty good as well. Just your standard slice. Bread/crust for both lacked flavor. We have friends who have been raving about Broadway Pizza on North Broadway but thought that it seemed pretty crazy to drive a few miles for a pizza. Well, guess what? The pizzas we had at Broadway Pizza was so exceptional that we plan on making it our absolutely FAVORITE PIZZA place! We visited their restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and they had a constant crowd of customers picking up pies and ordering slices. Story time - After moving to white plains two years ago we tried most of the pizza places around the area and decided that Broadway Pizza was the top place in this area. We keep our order pretty simple- a couple pepperoni square slices and Penne alla vodka "No prosciutto". We also order pies or trays of pasta for almost every small family function. Today we ordered our regular. After we finished our slices (that tasted great) we moved on to the pasta. After we started to eat the pasta we found a foreign item in our food that does not belong there. I rinsed it off to get a better look without if being covered in sauce and I hadn't the slightest idea of what this could be. I called Broadway and the talk to the owner who initially tried to offer me a credit for pasta in the future (As if I would ever get pasta from here again). I went back to the location to see if the owner or chef could figure out what this is. They both had no idea what it was so I simply requested my money back only for the pasta. Moral of the story - only get pizza from pizza places. I can't say I won't ever go there again because again this is the best PIZZA place in THIS area. But I will keep it limited to slices. Those are made upfront where the customer can see step by step. Who knows what goes on in the back of the house at this place . read more

Because how well they execute that is a measure of how good the food will be across the board. And this wedge did not disappoint at all. The hero roll was perfectly crisp and lightly toasted outside. There was a generous layer of melted mozzarella covering all the contents underneath. Then, when biting into it, large chunks of breaded chicken cutlet were mixed with a very well balanced sauce that was not too sweet or too salty, nicely seasoned with no flavor sanding out, but highlighting the tomato. Getting the flavor combo of the chicken, sauce cheese and toasted roll together - this wedge is as good as a chicken parm wedge can be. It's the neighborhood joint up in North White Plains serving good entrees- nothing over the top, just decent. On evenings that I don't want to cook and want something straightforward, Broadway Pizza has been my other emergency go-to. Shrimp Scampi is my favorite pick and their chunky cup or bowl Cream Of Broccoli, is dynamite. Mr. Man either goes for their Chicken Marsala or Parm, with garlicky Broccoli Rabe or Broccoli- as sides. And they threw in two orders of garlic knots for free because they were closing (4 for $1). Garlic knots are great, not overly large or dried and tasteless like other places. It is served cold, and came with salad dressing. My office and I devoured it within minutes. Even a coworker who does not like tuna enjoyed it as well. I always have my staple places when I'm in the White Plains area, but my sister let me know about this spot that she tried when taking my nephew to the Kumon next door. It's a small place, but there is indoor seating and street parking. They have a large selection of ready to go slices so it's perfect to stop in and grab something if you're in a hurry. They have a salad pizza and a rigatoni pizza by the slice as well. Since it was my first time I decided to try a bunch of different options by the slice. I had the margherita, classic cheese, salad, white, and rigatoni slice. They were all delicious! The crust is perfectly thin but has the tender crunch all the way to the crust. The sauce is so light and savory with a hint of sweetness and the slices were a good size. My favorites were the rigatoni and margherita. The rigatoni has just the right amount of pasta on top with a light sauce and didn't eat down the crust. This is a must try place with fast and friendly staff. Every time I call on the phone to order they are putting me on hold multiple times and rushing me off the phone. This is the 4th time I give them my business over the phone and the same exact scenario. Their attitude was go somewhere else if you want, gee was just trying to leave a tip on the card before he was going to hang up.
