I normally get their lunch special popcorn chicken because it's such a great deal and their soy garlic sauce is so good. They also give a generous portion of meat and rice along with a side salad, and their popcorn chicken is not heavily battered either. I know the pictures do not serve this place's justice. I haven't been here since they were still Chicken Plus but I really their rebrand. The restaurant looks very clean and bright now. I was able to pick up my order within 15 mins on a Wednesday night. The original chicken was juicy and crispy. It tasted very fresh and not oily at all. The coating wasn't too thick and stayed crispy even though I had it 30 mins after. They gave us cabbage salads, 2 containers of pickled radish, and a container of canned fruits. I'm not one to dislike food, but this pizza was not it. The sweet potato was undercooked, not very sweet, and still had a very hard texture. There was barely any meat on the bulgogi half of the pizza. 1/10 for the pizza. I have never been so disappointed in a dish as I was with this pizza. We also ordered the honey garlic wings which were great but small in size. The flavoring was perfectly sweet and what you would expect for honey garlic. 8/10 for the wings. My boyfriend and I wanted to try this place because we use to come here a lot when it was Love Letter and then CrunchChicken. This was a long time favorite and go to spot for Korean fried chicken. I'm sad that 92 Chicken does not compare. A lot of the chicken was fatty and had many small bones. A few of our pieces were just fried bone with no meat, so that was disappointing. I felt bad for the young waiter because he was clearly new and had to handle a rush by himself - seating the customers, taking the orders, bringing the food out and then clearing the table!!! His manager needed to cut him some slack. His manager even had the audacity to yell at him "in the back" for a mistake he made; all of us could hear as there is no real border between the kitchen and where customers are seated. The redesign of the place is really nice. They need at least 2 waiters working for the service to be better. Food: 2/5 Service: 3/5, I'll give the waiter some grace truly seemed it was his first day. Chicken Plus popped into my mind, and Yelp said it was permanently closed, so I was a little sad. But I went to Mart, and 92 Chicken was at the same spot as Chicken Plus. So I decided to try this chicken. When I opened the door, the owner of Chicken Plus was there, and I wondered why she changed the restaurant's name. She wasn't able to manage this place because of personal health issues and let their friend run this place, and her friend changed it. Service was excellent, as usual, and the food tasted better. They added more flavor and changed recipes on pizza. I had Tteokbokki, spicy Korean rice cake food, sweet potato Pizza, and spicy garlic chicken. YOU MUST Try spicy garlic chicken with sweet potato pizza. It's wild. Best combo I've ever had. Pizza with spicy garlic sauces gives an extra exceptional taste.
