I recently began a 1962 Impala SS 409 project car to be used by the LAPD Racing Team as a Nostalgia tow vehicle for my A/Gas Police race car. I first spoke with Lucinda Mascorro the Auto Dept. I had a leak in my sliding glass window of my truck. I phone A-1 for an estimate to replace or repair. They were extremely professional and punctual. They gave me a few options and explained that my window had to be removed and re-installed. There was an outside chance the window could break. They explained the cost if that would occur. Within an hour or so the technician came into the waiting room and told me it had been repaired successfully. He showed me what they had done and explained to me how to take care of it as it dried for the next couple days. I paid my bill and was very happy with my appointment. The experience we had with A-1 Glass was great! The constant communication throughout the process was so helpful. The staff could not of been nicer to work with, from Camiya in the office to the installers, Dave and Miguel. The guys, Dave and Miguel, who did the installation of our sliding glass door, went above and beyond what they were sent out to do. Upon removing the old door, we discovered many issues with the previous installation. Thus the job could not be finished in one day. The guys came out another day, bringing additional materials to fix the existing issues the original door installers did incorrectly. Just a couple of hours ago, I was driving down 101 and took a rock in my windshield. Knowing that if I didn't get it fixed right away, my entire windshield would be cracked. Bryan picked up the phone and with a friendly voice said "Get on down here before it gets worse!" His tech (didn't catch his name) was awesome, friendly, and efficient. Repair came out great! I don't live down here, but if I did, this place would get all of my business. Family owned, and they obviously care about customer service. A-1 Glass is the most professional and accomplished glass contractor I have ever worked with. They took on a warranty glass replacement job from Home Depot for a Lifetime Guaranteed 10 foot high by 3- 1/2 foot wide single pane window that Home Depot could not manage to get installed with their usual resources. A-1 took the job and and did it quickly and professionally including the use of a long boom which was required because the window location was 8 feet off the ground on a sloping hillside about 40 feet from the street. The job was done very quickly on a rainy day and the whole crew were all smiles and friendly. I will always buy glass and services from A-1 in the future. They're really marvelous. read more

As one of the employees lived nearby, he was able to get an early start while waiting for the others to bring the equipment. Bryan the owner was very personable and very prompt to come out and give us an estimate for the house within a day or two. We just had some windows installed in one of our out buildings on the property of Atascadero Sate Hospital by A-1 Glass. Let me tell you from the first visit to get initial measurements to the final install the process was flawless.
