We have stored our belongings here for 3 years and the gentleman that set us up was a super nice guy. We returned here to rent another unit for a month to organize our things before moving out of state and taking all of our things, trying to make it easier by being at the same location as our other unit. The lady working was so rude and snippy that we decided to take our business down the street to public storage, even though it's an inconvenience. This is a great facility with a great staff. Clean, well maintained units. Easy access in and out. I would definitely recommend this place and would use them again. I had a 10x15 upstairs here for over 2 years. This place serves its basic purpose just fine with no extras. Just the basics. The units have no lights and are often dark inside. The carts are beat and sometimes missing. It gets pretty hot inside in the summer here compared to others ive been in locally. With the cons being said tho, this place is good for the price. Plenty of choices and the prices are very competitive for this area. Worth it. Id rent here again. read more

I have been a loyal customer for many years and just received a rate increase of $45.00 a month. I am being told the rate increases are now after every 4 months for new renters and every 10 months for existing renters. With the current pandemic in place and inflation rates so high, I believe it is unfortunate and unprofessional for a storage company to demand a rate increase. I will be removing my belongings as soon as possible and do not recommend anyone to use their services based on the lack of concern for the impact on the economy at this time. read more

I found this facility on Yelp and based on their awesome reviews, I decided to give them a call to ask as many questions as I can possibly think of since I had a HORRIBLE experience with a previous storage facility and it's joke of an "owner". Let me just say these reviews do NOT lie! Shawn and Grace are a dynamic duo. They are funny, honest, patient and most of all, PROFESSIONAL! When I came in there, I instantly clicked with them. It's kind of hard not to. While Grace was at lunch, Shawn spoke to everyone that would walk in as if they were her longtime friends. I guarantee she got a smile from everyone I saw her interact with that day. That should let you know how cool and relax she makes you feel! In the middle of my brothers helping me move my stuff, I had to run errands and told Shawn and Grace that I was going to be right back. My brothers finished unpacking before I got back so I called Grace and Shawn to let them know I had accidentally took the lock with me but that I was on my way. They were extremely kind and said to just let them know if there was anything they can do to help me and to not rush and just drive safely and that they would still be there. It is amazing how kindness never goes out of style. When I told them that they didn't have to do anything, they said, "We're here for YOU. That's our job. So if you need anything, don't worry about it. You tell us, we will help you. That's what we are here for. Really." And they were such genuine and sincere words! Due to a recent purchase of a new home in our family, we just moved our personal items out of the facility but I definitely recommend this facility because of Grace and Shawn to anyone and everyone! A lot of business owners do not realize that customers (no matter how big or small) can go and take their business anywhere and everywhere. There are many business like yours but what will make you stand out is how you treat customers as how they are treated will decide if they stay or go. A storage facility is a storage facility... I have nothing but great things to say about A-1. Shawn is awesome! She was so helpful during the move out process. She helped me coordinate with Salvation Army and kept me informed along the way (there were issues with Salvation Army). She even helped guide my husband out of the facility in our HUGE moving truck when another car was blocking the exit. As we unpack, we have found no damage to any of stuff. No insects, moth holes or heat damage (including a large vinyl record collection). The units are well insulated and sprayed monthly for pest control. When we put our stuff in storage, I was very nervous that our stuff would get ruined or stolen. I can assure you that we had a great experience and are very happy with our choice. I would go back to them in a heartbeat if the need for a storage unit came up. I will also continue to recommend them to friends. read more

Updating my previous review, this place used to provide five star service but if I could leave negative stars I would, they don't even deserve one. We went to pay our bill today and they upped our rent. Not only did they not tell us about this in our contract upon signing and opening a new storage unit, but they also didn't tell us or warn us about the rent going up until it was due? And when we asked about it and why they gentlemen working today was very matter of fact, lacked kind consumer service, and replied with "its in ur contract" and when we said we didn't want to rent with them for the following month he simply said "ok" if u do not care about ur customer service or care if u lose customers then what kind of business is this. I will take my money else where there are plenty of storage units. Will never be renting here again. The least he could have done was had more empathy or attempted to make it right. Even if he had just said let me see what I can do or if they could have waived the upped amount for this month but let us know next month will be higher. I have referred two other people to this place and I will be letting them know as well as anyone else who needs to use storage units in the future not to go here! read more
