About 7:20 AM I got a text from Borys, one of the movers that they would be there at 8 AM. They were there right on time, as I got a call at 7:52 AM that they were parked. I just had a one bedroom apartment but lots of boxes and antique wood furniture that they carefully wrapped and transported to the new house in just a few hours. What's worse is that they are supposedly a "Mayflower partner." Mayflower really needs to take a hard look at who they partner with. We never received all of our belongings even though it took them two trips just to get our three bedroom household items from Brandon, Florida to Charlotte, North Carolina and every single piece we did receive was damaged, some of it beyond repair. The morons on the first delivery dragged an armoire across our brand new bedroom floor and gouged it before leaving behind a broken armoire. The driver and assistant from the second delivery were even shocked and so apologetic as they brought in our items and announced "this is also damaged," or "this is broken to pieces" and showed us the pieces, or as the driver said, "I don't understand why this broken piece was crated at the warehouse but in the warehouse, they uncrated it and gave it to me to move without any wrapping at all." Again, I simply cannot say enough bad about this company and I would encourage anyone who's thinking about moving from the Tampa area to not choose Mayflower because you're going to end up with BMS, which is more like a bunch of BS and you will be very sad and very sorry. Now we are tasked with not only having to unpack but also having to start what is going to be a long and tedious claim filing process. :-(

I still don't have my furniture, and they won't give me any updates at all. The only thing they've told me is that they "found mold" on 5 of my items, which means my belongings have been sitting in some damp, nasty place this whole time. On top of that, we have a 1-year-old who hasn't had any of the things he needs because of this. It's been 2 months of waiting, calling, and getting nowhere. They don't answer calls, they don't explain what's going on, and they clearly don't care. Worst moving company experience possible.
