They give solid advice along with reasonable, accurate estimates (regarding price and how long it'll take to complete each job), so I'm never disappointed. I once went in for an oil change, tire balancing & rotation & Tony informed me that my rear brakes were wearing down. While it didn't require immediate attention, my vehicle was already there so I agreed to get the brake pads replaced to save time & avoid returning in a few weeks. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, Tony showed me my old brakes so I could see the wear. [Now, this wasn't required but it certainly put my mind at ease as there was a time (when I was a young, new driver) when I was ripped off for brake replacement & sat in a waiting room for over three hours only for the auto shop to take my money without doing any work. I've always had an amazing experience at One Stop! Tony is very friendly and has often helped me with small things free of charge. I appreciate how all the staff has always informed me of problems and offered detailed estimates (that are actually accurate to the final cost) and been communicative about pick up times, etc. As a woman, I've often felt talked down to by men in the auto industry, and even had estimates hiked up on purpose when I was vulnerable and in need, only to "magically" come down once they talked to my auto-savvy father. These guys are amazing! When I bought my first car, a second-hand 10-year-old Ford, a friend recommended this service. It was my first time at mechanics', I called in for an appointment, brought the car in the next morning, and handed it over to Tony. Best. Experience. Ever. They did the full diagnostics and explained everything that needed fixing and why. Tony was very honest and straightforward about the prices and the urgency of the repairs. I cannot tell you how much I, as a poor just-graduated student, appreciated it. We ended up creating a "repair schedule" with my tires needing to be replaced within two weeks and my rear breaks - in like 2 months. This is running a bit long but let me tell ya, when I dropped off the car, it was like some magic had been done, and voilà - everything was great the next day! They helped me choose, order, replace, and balance all four tires, then replaced my engine mounts, and checked the air filters which were so old and dirty that they replaced them immediately. As an unexpected bonus, they also topped off my winch wiper fluid and polished the bad scratch on my windshield. And! They noticed that one of my shiny red valve stem caps was missing and searched all over to get one exactly like the other three. Such a nice touch! They don't do alignment in-house, but they know a good-quality shop in the area that will give you a discount if you say you came from One Stop Tires and Auto. 11/10! I recommend these guys to everyone. Whatever your problem is, they will take good care of your car. And I'm certainly coming back when it's time to get my new rear brakes. read more

Wow- I have never left a review for an auto shop before but the service I received at One Stop was shocking. They made me feel so comfortable explaining everything with my car that needed fixing. I went to Mountain View in the morning to get my brake pads replaced and gave me an estimate of over $600 (puking and crying). Despite looking like one of a dozen small mechanics shop on Cauhenga Blvd, this shop is a secret gem and does high quality work. Originally bought my car from the shop; a family didn't want their car anymore, so Sam and Tony fixed it up before selling it to me at a very reasonable price. Seeing that, I have been happy to bring my car back for service here. Service has been great; they use quality parts and don't inflate prices yet do a great job, including for larger jobs like timing belt replacements. The work is perfomed promptly, and availability is good. I don't live super close by, but it's definitely worth the extra drive to have Tony or Sam service my car if I want to guarantee the job's done right. read more

Told me to pull my car in, found the leak in minutes and plugged it.
