Business doesn't deserve a 1 but I had to put something down. Driver arrived 2 hours after being called by our insurance company USAA to assist us with our car that was In an accident in Pt Hueneme, Ca. The insurance company already had the info of where the car was supposed to go in Oxnard. The tow truck driver started in on us using a friend of his body shop saying that his friend could do a better job than where the insurance Co. was sending it. The driver kept insisting that we talk to his boss, and after 5 times of saying no to his request, he finally agreed to take the car where the insurance company said to take it. We found out this morning that our car never arrived at the body shop because the driver loaded it onto his truck and drove it to the shop in Calabasas that he kept insisting we go to. The truth is he stole our car, and now that shop doesn't want to release our car. These guys and this place is as crooked as they come. read more

This review should have been done a very long time ago and I've kept their card to make sure I write it and give them their proper acknowledgment. I had just gotten off work and learned that my car wouldn't start. I figured I needed a jump and asked a coworker to assist me. When he pulled his car around and i lifted the hood I couldn't find the battery, only the positive terminal/post . While I'm pretty savvy with the mechanics of a car, I felt very much like the "stereotypical girl". I brought my coworker over and he couldn't find it either. Finally I called Express Towing & Transport and they said they would be over in about 15-30 minutes. They showed up in 5 minutes, literally, identified the other negative terminal on the other side of the engine hidden under another cap (I have a 2002 Dodge Intrepid in case this sounds weird to you) jumped my car and was on his way. I was so pleased at how quickly everything was done, and he even called me later to see how everything was...who does that??? Beyond impressed and thankful that they came to my aide. I was referred to Express Towing by Steve at Discount Tire Center in Northridge on Parthenia as I had a flat tire and needed assistance getting to their shop for repairs. I called Ben, got voicemail and left a brief message describing my circumstances. Ben returned my call within 10 minutes and said he could be by within 30 minutes. 20 minutes later he was at my gate. After a quick assessment of my problem (flat tire) we determined it was better to refill the tire with air, since it would hold it for at least a day, so that I could immediately drive to DTC and get the tire fixed, as opposed to putting on the spare tire. He originally quoted me a reasonable amount for the visit when we spoke over the phone. However, after arriving and determining a different, easier solution than we discussed, he graciously cut the fee by 20%. What a guy! Ben and his team at Express Towing are exactly what you need. Highly recommend. We needed to tow our RV to the site where it is being overhauled. Ben consulted with me on the phone and determined which truck was needed and quoted me a price. Scheduled the appointment for 9am on Sunday and the tow truck showed up 15 minutes early! So awesome. The driver was so friendly and pleasant, yet super professional. He helped us to try and get the RV started, but when it wouldn't because the battery was too far gone, he busted out the wench and dragged this RV onto the truck. We waited 30 minutes to leave and meet him at our destination, which was about 45 minutes from our house. We caught up with him on the way and followed him to the destination. The service was excellent and the driver was very cognizant of the weight of the vehicle and took all appropriate measures to ensure our vehicle was delivered safely and efficiently. Do not use this towing service . They will literally leave you stranded. I called for a jump start on my semi truck in north Hollywood . The dispatch lady who is also rude said it would take 40 mins for someone to get here . An hour 45 mins later the tow truck guy Alex which knew nothing about how to jump start a semi truck was asking me questions about how to jump start the truck . The rude dispatch lady called me and said you need to pay for the device now or he's leaving . I explained to her the guy hasn't even started the jump process . Remind you I've been in business for over 5 years and had multiple jump starts on my semi trucks and never once had to pay before the service . I told her whatever that's fine let me give you a call back with payment she instantly hung up in my face and called Alex and he started to get in his truck and I told him wait what's going on , I told the lady I was going to call her back with payment & he told me " oh I got another call I have to leave" . It makes a whole lot of a difference to speak with someone that explains the service, gives you total confidence on his years of experience and on top of that answers all your questions with no rush and in a friendly manner. The cherry on top is that he not only has great customer service but he also extends the most competitive price, $ 75 dollars for a towing truck and flat bed to load a vehicle inside a container. The worse towing Company ever. I used this company about a month ago and the worse experience I could ever have. The driver got the screw drive and scratched my gear assuming he is macanic and could fix the car. Guess what When I tried to stop him he got upset and he said that he will not take my car and of course stupid cheap BMW deals with cheap towing companies like this, so I had no choice but to listen to the representative on SOS call. Long story short, yesterday my car stoped again and another driver with the same company came to tow. I just want you to see the amount of the unprofessional job this company does. This time my friend was driving my car. The drive start talking to her and he asked for my name and my friend said she is my friend. Then the driver start talking about me and how crazy I am. Me being nice the first time did not report to BMW and to the manager about the driver that he searched my car last time because I was being nice thinking he is a hard working men and everyone make mistake I said I'll just ignore it. By the way the driver mentioned that his manager Ben ordered him not to tow my car and leave me where I was (in canyon) and the driver kept saying Ben told me not to but I'll be nice and take you !!! Be nice for damaging my car!!! Anyway the driver had me sign something because he was afraid the I would complain forcing me sign paper because if I wouldn't he would of leave and I had to wait couple more hours for BMW and it stupid towing companies to show up. So I sign to just be done with This crazy driver and his stupid manager. This company is total mess with a very poor management. Ben can't even listen to the conversation. The best! I was fortunate enough to have Hussein from A&B Express Towing come to tow my car. First of all, I have a Mercedes-Benz that is a limited edition of which Mercedes only made 700 of them. I'm really particular when it comes to my car and I was afraid it might get scratched of damaged somehow. Here's the challenge - my car could not shift into neutral and was stuck in Park. So it was impossible to tow up the ramp normally. I had called AAA Roadside and they first sent a flatbed truck. After much assessment, the tow truck driver determined he couldn't tow my car. So then AAA sent a second truck to try putting a wheels under the rear and lifting my car with a wheel lift. My car is so low and has the AMG package, so it was impossible for them to do with risking damage. So the second AAA driver said he couldn't tow my car without me signing a full liability release/waiver. The AAA guys seem nervous and not confident at all. AAA called me and told me they wouldn't tow my car and they were ending the call. I decided to call Mercedes-Benz Roadside Service and they sent A&B Express Towing. I told Hussein right away what the situation was and he was so cool and confident. He said "No problem, we'll get you car towed. It's not a problem, I can do it. Your car will be OK". He seemed so calm, confident, and was so friendly & re-assuring. He acknowledged that my car was special and he didn't want to damage it in any way. Well he got my car up that flat bed! He was a master, working those flat bed controls to get the bed at the right angle and bend it so my car wouldn't scrape. We got to the Mercedes-Benz dealership and he took charge to make sure they knew my car was coming-in. Getting my car down off of the flatbed was the most interesting part... He skillfully slid my car off of the flatbed little by little, precisely controlling the angle of the bed, as he gently laid my car down on the ground! Hussein is a pro! I knew my car was in good hands with him. He is such a good guy, very funny, kind, and compassionate. He made me feel like he cared about both my car and me. Wanted to write a review here for Cesar who did a phenomenal job towing my car to the Audi dealership. I called roadside assistance because my e-tron wasn't responding to any function and I couldn't even open the doors. Instead of dragging the car onto his tow truck, Cesar spent almost 30 minutes opening the car manually and somehow miraculously managed to get my electric vehicle started to drive onto his truck. The next morning AUDI claimed they couldn't find the vehicle and I texted Cesar, he immediately responded and sent me photos of where he had left it. Stuck outside in the sun with a flat tire that wouldn't hold air for more than a few seconds, I had no choice but to call a local towing company. I found these guys on Yellow pages website, and called them and spoke to Ben. Ben told me he'd arrive in 20 minutes, and in less than 20min he shows up. He was quick and efficient getting my car up on the platform while still handling my car with care so as not to damage my rim. We were driving through LA and did not see a pot hole, which unfortunately burst both right side (both front and rear) tires. We were stuck on the side of a back alley road while roadside assistance set up a tow. After three other tow companies picked up and then cancelled the tows, A&B Express Tow came through. They not only worked with us to get someone there ASAP (we had already been sitting there waiting for 3+ hours), they also ensured we had the car towed to the right location. BMW Roadside assistance told us the location we wanted it towed to had a 24 hour drop off, but A&B knew that was not the case and towed the car to their lot and then delivered the car today to the dealership we needed it towed to. The driver even waited for our Lyft to arrive before departing the area, as it was already getting closer to midnight. PHENOMENAL response and support from the A&B Express Tow team.
