    I am incredibly disappointed with the service from A&R Complete Service Corp. in Henderson, NV. Our A/C unit was acting up, and I reached out to my home warranty company, American Home Shield. This was the company they gave me to work with. I set up my appointment for August 30, 2025 and they quoted me the usual 4hr window, which was between 9a-1p. I hadn't heard anything from them by 1:00p so I waited another hour. After still not getting a phone call from the company, I finally decided to call them. They said the technician would be on his way in a half hour. Another hour went by, still nothing. I called again. They gave me the same answer, he'll be there in a half hour. This went on hours and hours later. I was told something anout he was working on a frozen unit or something but he was packing up and on his way. Well he didn't show up to my house until around 4:15ish pm. And the time frame was supposed to be between 9a-1p. He gets here and my husband lets him in the back yard where the unit is. I come downstairs to let them in the backdoor and needless to say, I was very upset. I told him that I was upset because he was 4 hours late. When I said that, he gave me a death stare, as if he couldn't believe that I called him out on his lateness. He then said that he was "knee deep in someone's a.c.for the last 5 hours." I then said that he or someone should have called me to update me on his status. And instead of apologizing he said, and I quote, "I don't have to tell you anything!" It was at that moment that I said, no thank you. I no longer want your service. Because that was the most disrespectful, unprofessional response that he could have given me. And HE was the one almost 5 hours late to a service that I paid for and that is contracted to work with American Home Shield. I couldn't believe the way he spoke to me! He then proceeded to go to his truck. I tried to call his company to let them know what was going on, but nobody answered. When I went to find him he was standing outside of his truck parked in front of my house casually eating crackers and talking on the phone. I asked him if he was talking to his supervisor, because if he was, I wanted their phone number so I could speak to them. He ignored me and continued eating his snack and talking on the phone. I asked him, (the technician) for his name and he refused to give it to me and kept his back to me the entire time. I asked him again for his name and his supervisors' contact info and he finally turned around and rudely said "call the number on the side of the truck." Then he took his phone out and pointed it towards me as if he was recording me. I was like, the audacity he has to treat me the way he did and then have the nerve to record me as if I did something to him. It was the worst experience I've ever had with a company. And after he recorded me and refused to give me his information, he got in his truck and took off. Please be warned. This company is nasty to work with. And after all that, he never even looked at my a.c. unit. I'm currently waiting for an apology or something from the company after leaving several messages with them. And when I get the technicians name, I will add it to my review. I would never recommend this company. It was the worst customer service I've ever had. Be warned! Update: I found out that they lied to American Home Shield and said that THEY canceled the service because I was rude. That was absolutely not true. I called the company and Missa, the one I spoke to from day one, answered and kept hanging up on me because she didn't want to hear my complaint about the fact that they lied on me. She is the one who usually answers the phone. She's also very unprofessional. I ended up speaking to a very lovely person named Vanessa who actually took the time to listen and was very apologetic and understanding about everything that I had gone through with the company. Again, Vanessa was wonderful! She was the only bright light that I dealt with from that company. She deserves all the good things. All I wanted from this company was an apology and she did that for me. Thank you Vanessa. I'm still hoping to hear from the Manager.

    Bad disconnect for air conditioner.

    The technician completely misdiagnosed the problem with my air conditioning unit. Hi said the compressor was bad, my home warranty wouldn't cover it and quoted $4650 to replace it. I asked AHS to send out another company for a second opinion. They fixed it in 30 minutes. The compressor was fine. The unit disconnect/breaker was obviously bad. (It was burnt and partially melted). They replaced it and all costs were covered by the home warranty.

    Service Repair that was not completed. Requested refund due to another company fixing issues in 5 min.

I was pleased when 702 was able to have someone come later in the afternoon, especially since I needed to get this done before having my very first houseguests in a couple days. But the interaction with Nick after showing him the showerhead in question was one of the strangest that I have ever had with a contractor in almost 25 years of homeownership. It did end up being $150 thankfully but I am not sure if it was a poor sense of humor or an attempt to fleece me; either way I didn't care for it, despite the work being done quickly!

I called to make an appointment to assess the problem with the HVAC and Jared came. Jared was a professional and provided me the situation and didn't lie to me at all. Jared provided me with all details of his assessment so that I could "possibly" compare with other HVAC companies. Jared never once tried to upsell me only anything and he said the assessment was free. I did call 2 other companies to make an assessment. Both companies provided me with a list of "things" that is wrong with the unit. One of them tried to upsell me a brand new HVAC UNIT and they offer financing. Per my calculation I would be paying $18K for an HVAC unit if I financed with them ($12k for the unit & $6K for interest). I called Jared and asked him to write me an invoice to purchase a new unit, which he did and I was surprised by how much different the cost was (way lower) from the other company. I asked Jared what is the actual total with tax, labor and dumping the old unit....he said "that's the whole total...with delivery, pick-up, removal and installation ". I agreed to the terms and scheduled the replacement. A-Tech team showed up at 8am on the scheduled date and immediately went to work. Jared explained to me the whole process and he even invited me to watch their work. 3 hours later the guys are done, cleaned up and ready for payment - which I was glad to pay in full. The warranty was great! I highly recommended A-Tech to ANYONE needing repair, replacement or even an assessment done to their HVAC system. I received an automated booking verification via the email and phone number I had provided. I received an email and text informing me of the name of the tech along with a photo of him, and verification of appointment day and time frame. I received email and text reminders the night before and the morning of the scheduled appointment. Yannick was on time, personable, and professional. He answered questions I had and then performed the tune up service. Payment for services rendered was handled upon completion of the service using a credit card reader. He emailed me the invoice and receipts at the time of the transaction. Again, I'm very pleased with services rendered.

When NRS offered to inspect our water system, we jumped at the offer. When you live in the desert, you can't take any chances with your AC or water systems. Both can turn into expensive issues very quickly. During our inspection, Arturo with NRS noticed some corrosion and possible past leak at our water heater connections. Chances are these connections are original to our 2004 condo and since we have neighbors downstairs, we want to avoid any leaks that could result in issues that could affect both units. The NRS Team presented us with an estimate that we were pleased with and we scheduled Arturo for today. Arturo called ahead when he was enroute (we appreciate that) and was onsite in no time. Arturo took the time to explain what he would be doing to eliminate a possible issue and make our system more secure. Changing out the old hoses (over 20 years old) and connections to solid copper piping and new connections gives us the peace of mind that you need with plumbing. He also configured it so should we need to replace the hot water heater, the new copper fittings will be easy to disconnect & reconnect. Arturo did an amazing job, kept us informed as he worked and the work area was spotless when he was finished. A true gentleman & professional. Many THANKS to Arturo and the NRS Team for spotting a potential plumbing issue and providing a great solution. That's what every homeowner expects.
