7-Grain bagel with avocado, tomato and lettuce
Annie L.

Lucky to have stumbled upon this local hideaway serving up fresh bites with a welcome to the family vibe. Take your pick of a wide selection of bagel varieties, toppings and breakfast pastries to boot. I went with a 7-Grain topped with avo, tomato and lettuce. Toasted to perfection, the bagel had that delicious dense chew to crunch ratio. The avocado was fresh and creamy, providing a winning "avo bagel" breakfast. Will certainly become a morning staple stop during our weekend stay in town!

This place is one of the best bagel spots in OCMD. The line is out the door and moves quick. They were out of the crab cheese but the Lox cream cheese is just as good. I had the sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was perfection. The bagel style is chewy and will make you feel like your in NYC.

My boyfriend and I came to Ocean Pines for a Valentine's day get away & we were very excited to find a breakfast sandwich place very close to our AirBnB. Perfect for a lazy, rainy Saturday. In terms of COVID, they've adjusted their seating area to create ample space between tables & placed a barrier of chairs around the registers/display cases to protect their workers. Workers are all wearing masks behind some plexiglass barriers too. The turkey sausage, egg, pepper jack cheese everything bagel sandwich was delicious. 10/10 would eat again. Would have liked some hot sauce to go with it but they did have ketchup. The blueberry bagel was very soft on the outside and had a good chew. Sun dried tomato was a bit hard at first (maybe a day old?) But when sliced and toasted with chive cream cheese it was pretty good. The small blueberry cheesecake was a perfect size for dessert but not too indulgent. Very creamy and plenty of blueberry compote on top, with very plumb blueberries. All in all, this place is a gem!

We usually take a pic of food uneaten, but I couldn't resist when I opened up the foil.

Wow!! This bagel is amazing! My girlfriend has made me a bagel diva over the years, trying the best in NYC, and this...is...a great bagel! I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on Everything and she had the onion bagel with cream cheese. The Everything truly had everything and was fully covered in it. Perfectly cooked Boar's Head thick bacon (and I'm a stickler for bacon), melted white american along with the egg, meshed together "to keep together" (not messy) a solid sandwich that just made me a very happy man. After hearing the guy in front of me order, I asked to add jalapeños. Clutch move! Do it. And her onion bagel was so well coated with big size chunks of toasty onions. There's so much flavor. Nevermind the previous negative review someone left about toasting the bagel. A legit bagel doesn't need toasting. The outside had the perfect crisp to it. And lastly, the service and atmosphere was fantastic. The girls were all hustling and very attentive. I believe her name is Peggy, at the counter? Super sweet. Made me feel at home. When I walk in a place as a first-timer and notice cheerful repeat customers conversing with the staff it tells me something. We recently moved to the area, originally from Montgomery County, and once having access to Bethesda Bagel, I am VERY glad to have found this place. I'll be back and am very excited to tell others! A Bagel and...A job well done!

This place is just such an amazing find. The bagels and cream cheese options are great and I highly recommend the flagel bagel.

I had to stop and pickup up donuts to go on my last day in Ocean City. I ordered a half dozen. I…read moreate the maple glazed with bacon bits before I took the pictures. The donuts were nice and warm since they were freshly made and that maple glazed donut tasted like pancakes and syrup with bacon. It was so good. The donuts have a nice crispness on the outside but are lighter than you think for a cake donut. 10 out of 10 Every time. I only waited about 5-6 mins after placing my order. It was pretty busy but they have a good system.

I've been going to Ocean City, MD for as long as I can remember. And for just as long, I've been…read morehearing people rave about Fractured Prune donuts. How many times, in my entire life, had I actually tried one? Zero. But I was determined to change that during my solo birthday adventure to Ocean City this year. My first Fractured Prune donut in 41 years...I was more excited than I probably should have been. For those unfamiliar, Fractured Prune has been an Ocean City staple since 1976 and is known for letting you build your own donut masterpiece--starting with a hot, fresh donut and customizing it with glazes and toppings however you like. No pre-made rows of donuts here--just pure, creative, donut freedom. Since I was visiting in March (aka off-season), I wasn't even sure I'd get my chance. But I was thrilled to find this location open until 12pm on Saturdays. PERFECT. I got up early, watched the sunrise, and made my way over to finally experience the hype. I had studied the menu ahead of time because I knew if I didn't, I'd stand at the counter forever trying to decide. I landed on one donut--a Banana Nut Bread creation (banana glaze, cinnamon sugar, peanuts). I was attempting to show some level of restraint during a weekend that was otherwise...not about restraint. I walked in around 9:30am on a beautiful March Saturday and found a small crowd already inside. Clearly, even in the off-season, people know where to go. I placed my order, paid my $3.57, and asked if they had stickers as a little keepsake from my birthday trip. They were out, but the kind gentleman behind the counter offered me a magnet instead--which I happily accepted. A few minutes later, my number was called, and I was handed a purple box that felt...surprisingly heavy for one donut. I took it out to my car, opened the box, and immediately started to cry. I was on a solo birthday trip--my first one in a long time--and while I was doing my best to fill it with fun and new experiences, there was definitely a bittersweet edge to it. Inside the box weren't just my one donut--but two extra donuts and a handwritten "Happy Birthday!!" on the lid. It was such a small gesture, but it meant everything in that moment. It made me feel seen. It made me feel celebrated. And honestly, it made my entire day. The kindness of the people working there didn't have to exist--but it did, and it mattered. After I pulled myself together (and stopped crying over my donuts), I finally took a bite. I get it now. I fully get the hype. The donut was incredible--served warm, soft, moist, and perfectly cakey, with the banana glaze, cinnamon sugar, and peanuts all working together in the best possible way. It took serious self-control not to demolish all three donuts right there in the car. I'm not even sure I've ever had a truly fresh, hot donut before this--but if this is the standard, Fractured Prune has set the bar very high. For $3.57, this was one of the best purchases I've made in a long time--and eating it in the sunshine during my birthday adventure is a memory I won't forget anytime soon. Logistically, it's easy: free parking in a nearby strip mall, quick ordering, and fast service. Just note--there's no indoor seating. You grab your donuts and go...which honestly isn't a bad thing when "go" can mean taking them to the beach just a few minutes away. Fractured Prune is officially on my "must-do every time I'm in Ocean City" list. And next time? I'm not pretending I'm only getting one donut!
